Darius has won PopStar to OperaStar after a very close final with Bernie Nolan.
POPSTAR TO OPERASTAR
Both finalists chose week 4's arias to be repeated in the final.
Darius sang Non Piu Andrai, from the Marriage of Figaro for his solo song.
Bernie sang the French classic Les Filles De Cadix, by Delibes.
Both received standing ovations.
After the solos each contestant had to sing with one of the mentors.
Darius singing The Impossible Dream from the Man Of La Mancha with his mentor Rolando Villazon.
Bernie and her mentor Katherine Jenkins followed Darius and Rolando with a rendition of Somewhere from West Side Story.
As the voting came to a close an incredible four-way performance featuring the finalists and their mentors closed the show.
Darius appeared shocked and emotional after his name was read out by Myleene, the presenter - Bernie cheered when it was announced that he had won. Darius ran from the stage to his family and hugged his dad.
Returning to the stage for his final song, Non Piu Andrai, which he sang with a renewed zeal.

how comes it seems that darius is the only 1 who doesnt hav sum1 in the audience 2 support him every1 seems 2 hav a friend or family member in the audience.

I cant seem 2 write any comments anywhere else. Glad hes on this morning 2morrow. I rely hope they dont mention bout him and Natasha. When we saw his rehearsal 4 granada he looked rely upset not suprised! he doesnt need people askin him questions bout wots happened. Take care Darius ur doin great on the show.

That was brillient when Darius was blindfolded and spat the pasta out haha. Im glad 2 hear his dads ok now after bein in hospital b4 christmas. So glad they didnt ask bout natasha. This weeks song another italian. Will b voting Darius.
