Over the next few weeks, we will be pitting each album's opening track with its closing tracks. Some of them will be very obvious from the start but others seem to be a lot more hotly debated. Simply vote for your favourite in each poll and comment your thoughts!

'Aura' is wild but I don't prefer it to 'Applause' so for me the latter.

In terms of album closing, Applause does not work for me. Gypsy is the perfect album closer for this album as it's sonically different, totally euphoric and as it ends it makes you imagine her touring the album around the world. It would've made a sublime closer like it did for the tour!

I've gone for Applause because I prefer it as a song, but I agree Aura does a better job as an opener than Applause does as a closer - it feels more like it should be in the first few tracks than right at the end.

This has been super close throughout! Not going the way I'd want right now, but how exciting ohmy.gif (especially compared to Bad Romance vs Teeth tearsmile.gif)

Aura, but neither is exqctly a commercial hit! Aura might have done better though. Did they force her to rrname it from Burka?

I already voted for 'Aura' but forgot to post. Neither are exactly highlights of her discography but at least 'Aura' is vaguely interesting.
