 I wasn't expecting a title quite so soon!!If her single is anything like those songs mentioned above OMG! Cannot wait for this era, Im hoping its a total change in direction. I loved Spirit and Echo even more, but she needs a new sound and a little bit of a reinvention. |

Uh ohhh. I'm not sure about how I feel knowing it was written by Sandy Vee knowing that she wrote 'Firework', 'Only Girl' & 'S&M' (some of my least favourite tracks from the respective artists). Hopefully Leona has managed to bag a better producer for the track that will help do it justice!
EDIT: Just seen Sandy has also produced it!  . Please, please be good. (I should also note that the songs I dislike aren't necessarily "terrible", i just can't get on with them...) Maybe Leona is the missing link

I'm the opposite of Jonjo, I wasn't fussed about hearing this but now I know it's written by the same person as Firework & Only Girl. It better not disappoint now (though I can't say I'm that keen on S&M anymore, but I really can't see Leona doing something like that).

Woo! The information so far sounds interesting, the title would make me assume it's a ballad, but the writer/producer could mean it's a mid-tempo. Hopefully it is anyway, as that would be a great way to kick off the new era.

Collide does sound like a ballad or mid-tempo, but I'm a huge Leona fan, so I'm naturally really excited! Firework is my fave Katy song, and OG is one of Rihanna's best so let's hope it lives up to it's predecessors!

'Collide' sounds far more like an up-tempo to me?
 Collide = Smashing = Explosions = Fireworks = RAGING UP-TEMPO! Anyway, that blog site that also said the single will be called 'Collide' before Sandy Vee tweeted about it also said we'd hear it this week or next! EXCITED BUNNY! |
