I saw her at Bristol Pride with Sink The Pink and she was fab, I would love to see her doing more of her own songs though so the tour interests me.

You trolling Maz! ?? She said that there are no concrete plans, but she would love to, they just have to wait what the situation will be like (re: corona) as their tours are massive. To me it sounded definitely like they have something in the works but just don't know how or when. They all seem behind the idea again. |

She said the talk about it quite often, but given the current circumstances and how hard is to plan a World Tour, there’s nothing official (yet). I would love to have a Melanie C tour and a Spice Girl tour at the same time.

It's still a little odd for me seeing people announce tours because I'm like...do you really know if you're going to be able to do that?
I realize she just has a month and a list of countries...and that's as specific as it is right now. I also realize May is a long way off. But. Really. I have absolutely nothing on my schedule for the first time in my adult life...because I'm so uncertain of the pandemic's future. My work's told us we won't be back in the building until 2021. They've even deactivated our keys to get in, so no one can slip inside to grab something off their desk if they tried. lol. So. Y'know. With that being the case right now...do I think life will have changed so much in 2021 that I'll be back in crowded concerts? I just don't know. There's also this. I wonder how many venues will be sadly forced to close permanently because of what the pandemic has done to their business. Granted, all of the above comes from the perspective of someone living in the US. Things may be advancing better in your countries. But the problem just keeps getting worse here cause...y'know...a lot of us are crazy as hell. |

Good point Piers.
Even if and when live music and entertainment resumes, there may be rules by governments to: - Cap venue capacity at 70% or less. - To download and use bluetooth tracking software to phones in order to attend. - Groups and bands would be limited to essential members, a limit of support or assistant staff, and would need to hire crew living in countries they tour. - Groups and bands being tested before they leave their home destination and again when they arrive at an overseas tour location. - Groups and bands entering foreign countries to first undergo quarantine of 14 days, with access to a rehearsal studio. Could Melanie C expand a tour to other continents? This post has been edited by Aussie: 4th August 2020, 08:56 AM |

Could Melanie C expand a tour to other continents? I get it, but this is such a massive ask. Imagine having to quarantine for 14 days every time you move from tour date to tour date. It's unworkable unless the costs of that are covered, but also when it comes to your own mental health it's f***ing wild. Also, 70% capacity seems quite high. Our local castle here in Portugal for instance has started to host theatre events in its outdoor space (capacity 5000) and currently only 50 people at a time are allowed. They are only doing this because of Gov covering costs. A commercial endeavour like a Spice Girls tour wouldnt get that support, unless the world of finance and economics does completely change. Let's get rid of money all together and then the world could be a better place AND there would be another barrier removed to allow for Spice tours |
