**TWO-HOUR EPISODE**--"GLEE" - (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) CC-HDTV 720p-Dolby Digital 5.1

THE GLEE CLUB GETS READY FOR NATIONALS ON AN ALL-NEW SPECIAL TWO-HOUR "GLEE" TUESDAY, MAY 15, ON FOX

Lindsay Lohan Guest-Stars

As the countdown to graduation continues, the kids of New Directions prepare a high-concept routine for Nationals. When Tina bumps her head, the world of New Directions is turned upside down in her eyes. Then, the New Directions perform at Nationals for celebrity judge Lindsay Lohan (guest-starring as herself), in an all-new special two-hour "Props/Nationals" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, May 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-320/21) (TV-14 D, L)

Thanks to Theo in the spoiler thread, we already know at least some of the songs that are being used in the nationals half.

New Directions:
"The Edge of Glory" (Lady GaGa)
"It's All Coming Back to Me Now" (Céline Dion)
"Paradise by the Dashboard Light" (Meat Loaf)

Vocal Adrenaline:
"Starships" (Nicki Minaj)
"Pinball Wizard" (The Who)
"Boogie Shoes" (KC and the Sunshine Band)

The 'body swap' storyline in the first half doesn't sound great but it's fab that we get so much Glee in one day. biggrin.gif

They're doing Mean by Taylor Swift, butit's Shannon singing it, with Puck (I assume on guitar/backing vocals) sad.gif I know I always moan about who sings what but that's a perfect Quinn, Santana or Tina song (although I guess it fits her more, so it makes sense) sad.gif

I've been wondering for ages when they were going to do Taylor Swift given her massive success in the US and then when the finally get round to it they choose 'Mean' & give it to Shannon (nothing against the character at all, I even liked 'Jolene' but still..) sad.gif

That's pretty much exactly my view, it's been so long, they finally do her and it's a disappointment. I too liked Jolene, but that was a disappointment it wasn't Santana or Quinn solo, as it would've fitted them too I guess at different points. Dot is fine as a singer, but she's a disappointing choice for someone we've waited so long to be covered.

There is FINALLY a Tina solo in Props as well, thank god! I've heard Make You Feel My Love rumoured, which would beautiful, but Glee Wiki has TBA for now. Two Tinchel duets as well apparently ohmy.gif Probably getting us ready for likely a lot of Tina in Season 4.

There's one Tinchel duet, filmed in two different places apparently.

'Props' sounds like an amazing episode. A cracky episode if you like!

Props has only three songs in the episode - a series low! They are:

"Mean" (Taylor Swift) [Rumoured to be Beiste and Puck]
"I Won't Give Up" (Jason Mraz) [Rumoured to be Rachel]
"Flashdance... What a Feeling" (Irene Cara) [Rumoured to be Rachel and Tina]

Nationals has the songs Jack quoted in the original post, as well as:

"We Are the Champions" (Queen) [TBA]
"Tongue Tied" (TBA) [TBA]

Previews for the 'Props' songs;

http://bradisourking.tumblr.com/post/22440849094

Not surprised they're only doing three as the second episode sounds like song overload. 'Flashdance' sounds really good and Puck sounds alright on 'Mean'.

'Tongue Tied' could be the Grouplove song which I recognise from some advert and quite like, could work as the slightly alternative song that the competition episodes seem to have had this season.

I was very unsure when reading about the 'body swap' but those photos have won me over, finding them hilarious personally.

Such a brilliant set of episodes! By far and away the highlights of the season.

I wasn't too sure originally on the idea of a body-swap episode, but they pulled it off well by not focusing on it for too long - it was nice to see Tina and Rachel develop a friendship as well. I loved Puck and Beiste's performance of "Mean", I wasn't sure how the two of them would pull it off, but I liked that they did an acoustic arrangement (especially as the last few Puck numbers have all been rock performances).

Nationals was a really nice (almost) finale for the group; it actually made me feel quite sad that the cast are leaving after this series now! I wasn't too sure on "The Edge of Glory" as it felt a bit too close to the original, but I liked the other two performances by New Directions (having not been familiar with the songs beforehand). "Paradise by the Flashlight" felt a bit like their "Bohemian Rhapsody" moment, so I'm glad that they won (even though it was fairly obvious). Wade still annoys me though, so I'm glad he won't be back after this (and I'm still annoyed that he got more airtime than Harmony!)

What makes you so sure that Wade won't be back? He clearly said that he might have to change schools and whilst nothing is set in stone, the fact it was highlighted made me think it's possible - I wouldn't be against it personally, especially if it means more performances from Unique. Wouldn't be surprised to see him or Harmony in some way at some point at the future, they've left it open for both when Harmony mentioned being a sophomore.

Two of my favourite episodes of the season, I thought 'Props' was really funny but the whole thing with Puck/Beiste was really good too, I hope Dot can get an Emmy for her guest star performance - she was nominated last year and has really stepped up the this season.

The 'Tongue Tied' performance in Nationals was one of my favourite scenes, the song seemed to fit really well and it was such a happy moment. Parts of the episode were making me not want another season because this ending all seems to perfect.

Lindsay was good in her short role, I loved the reference to 'The Voice' (& 'The Hunger Games' earlier on).

Yeah, well that's true. I'd prefer to have Harmony as a member of New Directions though over Wade, but if both come then I won't be too annoyed. The The Voice reference was amazing! Lindsay was great in her guest role; Perez Hilton is a vile ...

Yet another comment from me on the episode, but whilst I did enjoy the scene where "Tongue Tied" played, I didn't really see the point in the cast covering is as we didn't see them perform it; it would've been just as effective had they played the original (like in On My Way with the original "Chapel of Love" playing during the wedding/crash scenes).
