Surely this info can just be posted in the on your radar thread as there's probably a bigger chance it'll be a re-release.

As this new 'LP' or whatever they're up to is in it's very early stages, I'd agree it's a bit premature, but it would be an idea to have a thread where we can talk about their new recordings and going's on instead of clogging up the 'On Your Radar' thread with new news that may not even end up being related to that album.

I wish they'd stick with one producer an album, I know it's nice to mix it up but perhaps that's where they go wrong - they use so many producers that the sound of each song and overall sound of the record as a whole piece is all over the place, in a way and they can't find a definitive sound by using a mish mash of producers all the time? This is just me saying I want a whole Xenomania album haha but I think the fact they use several producers doesn't help them connect with the public in the sense of there not being a 'traditional' and obvious Saturdays sound that the public would instantly recognise and say 'That's a Saturdays song' etc? The public don't know what they're getting with the girls, they chase trends - yes, it's good for a hit I guess - but nothing that helps grow their own sound and style - and that might be one element as to why they're struggling...?

I suspect we may get a re-release of the album later in the year.

Oh gosh, that feels very far off. sad.gif

Probably sensible for them to try the first quarter, instead of struggling in the run up to Christmas.

I agree. They've finally released they need to release after Christmas when it's less busy. I also expect we'll get three single before this album again. The next will probably be in September/October and then January/February.

Hopefully they'll concentrate on both Europe and America until then and maybe release the Headlines EP Worldwide to get a bit of interest before a Worldwide release of their next album in the new year.

What they'll be planning on doing, is releasing their newer music internationally at the same time. It makes a lot more sense. That way hopefully when they've built up their profile in the US (all going well) they'll be able to simultaniously release the LP in the UK and the US.

I agree with that, which is why I said that they should build some hype like The Wanted have by released Headlines or a new EP of their best hits to build some hype for the full album next year.

Good to see them definitely going for a less busy time of year. Should mean a higher peak and stick around for a while!

Thought I'd bump this thread since we can now definitely add Diane Warren and Darkchild to the list of who's working with the girls on the new album. Interested to see if they've got any other American producers/writers lined up. smile.gif
