Funhouse album was released on this day in 2008.

What did you think of this album back then vs now? What are your favourite songs and moments of the funhouse era?

I'd probably call this my favourite P!nk album/era.

I think Funhouse is my third favourite album from Pink behind I’m Not Dead and Beautiful Trauma. It was going to be difficult to follow IND for me but Funhouse really wa# the perfect follow up. There was so much hype for Pink back then with So What going to no.1 and this becoming her first no.1 album. I had just turned 20 and was in my second year of uni and this was my favourite album of the time. My life has changed so much in the last 10 years.

Was listening to this the other day! A great variation of tracks, kick-ass anthems and soul-bearing ballads, that all feel very linked together. Great vocals too, they add so much grit and heart to what are already strong tracks.

Fell in love with album all over again upon relistening. Don't know what songs are regarded as highlights by fans but I Don't Believe You and Glitter in the Air are such beauties.

I was 13 when this album was released and i remember being on holiday at the time so I didn't hear it until a week or so afterwards but this was the album what really made me into a huge fan of hers then I discovered a lot of her earlier material and heard her first four albums as a whole after this.

I still love it now though. It hasn't really aged and I actually went to the tour as well so a lot of good memories from this album.

I love So What, Sober, Glitter In The Air, Please Don't Leave Me, and so many more I could name! wub.gif

She finally got that #1 album in the UK too with this too heart.gif

Probably isn't one of my favourite albums of hers, although I still love it, but it is definitely one of my favourite eras. I went to see about 10 shows on the tour, including the t-mobile advert in London, and its also the era that I met her.

I took my mum to her first pink show on the funhouse tour as well, so this era holds lots of great memories for me heart.gif

Yeah totally agree, this is a fantastic album and definitely ranks as one of my faves from her, (actually dunno what my fave pink album would), there's a great variety on here with the awesome 'So What' (an amazing + perfect lead), the other singles such as 'Sober (great contrast + follow up), 'Please Don't Leave Me' (fantastic video & probably one of her best singles), 'Bad Influence' (lost classic, should have had a kick ass video to boot), ,Funhouse' & the beautifully tragic 'I Don't Believe You'. Even some of the album tracks 'One Foot Wrong, 'Crystal Ball' and 'Its All your Fault, are fantastic moments.

+1 to all of this, the singles run from the era is 10/10 all the way through. Please Don’t Leave Me is by far her best video (as Buzzjack has proved kink.gif) and So What is arguably her most iconic song in terms of global impact at least.

I remember my mum had this album on in her car nonstop for about 6 months laugh.gif

Funhouse is my second favourite P!nk era after the 'I'm Not Dead' era. It holds a lot of memories for me so I was stunned to see its been 10 years since the album was released. Doesn't feel like 10 years laugh.gif. All the singles were great from this era. It also had some strong album tracks "Its All Your Fault" "Mean" and "This Is How It Goes Down".

Omg the Funhouse Vinyl arrived this morning! Just over 10 years since I bought it on CD!

Also had a selfie with the postman-he asked for one to wind his kids up as I teach them.

Funhouse one of her best albums for me. What did people make of her single choices from that era?

Pretty spot on really, I'd have probably given 'Bad Influence' a full release over the title track though.

Yes, I thought her single choices were spot on as well shame that 'I Don't Believe You' didn't really do much in the charts.
