'La Isla Bonita' becomes the third Madonna music video to pass the 100m, following 'Bitch I'm Madonna' (284m) and 'Hung Up' (175m).

This video completed 2017 with just 4.7m views, so a huge 95m has come from 2018 alone. One must assume it appears on a playlist or something?

It's currently the 62nd biggest "classic" video (top videos older than 5 years, based on daily views) and is on track to pass 200m in July 2019.

A second version of 'La Isla Bonita' is currently on 95m views, due to pass 100m in March 2019, followed by 'Vogue' in September 2019.

I’m fairly surprised at that list. I’d have easily guessed Like A Prayer would’ve been her most viewed “classic” hit.

Good to see Hung Up #2 always loved that video.

Bump to say that the second version of 'La Isla Bonita' has now passed 100m.

'Vogue' should be next in July, with other milestones this year being 'Bitch I'm Madonna' passing 300m in June, 'Hung Up' passing 200m in August, the top version of 'La Isla Bonita' passing 200m in July.

I'm actually quite shocked LIB gets so many views. I mean I love it naturally, but compared to some of her other, bigger classics it seems a bit surprising!

How is LAP so low? For how iconic it is, even as an older video I'd have just guessed that to be well over 100m views tbh!

Her videos seem to be increasing at a higher rate in the last couple of years than they were before but it is a shame the views still don't seem to reflect her legacy yet, especially when you compare to other big female popstars. I think Madonna having her videos uploaded to Vevo was a major factor for many years, but YouTube made changes a year or so back so that all of an artist's music videos appeared under the same channel, regardless of who uploaded them (so long as they were officially uploaded, not by fans, of course) and that seems to have helped.

I noticed that 'Papa Don't Preach' and '4 Minutes' are both over 100m when you combine different official uploads (103m and 110m views respectively).
