IT'S BACK YAYYY

First epi was yday and can be watched on iPlayer now obv. No big cast changes yet except the addition of the new gun-tot'n wino family (the eldest son is rly fit no?) and the new posh head girl whose dad is the nasty governer. Oh, and Mika and Brett appear to be gone.

Spoiler alert: later in the series I think Angela Griffin's character returns as well as another old face

Discuss away!

Tbhhhhh....I wanted someone to get shot.

It's the first time I watched it the other night and it's alright ohmy.gif.
Despite the amount of outcast people from other shows. They're
like flies round $h!t in this programme. Jeezzzz.

Posted by: martyn 8th January 2009, 11:51 PM

i love this show, but it was a bit of an anti climax last night i felt.

Posted by: Cassidy 8th January 2009, 11:54 PM

Rahh. Words can't describe how much I wanna befriend that g with the gun from last night <3

You don't even watch it! And actually it has loads of acclaim. It's brilliant. Stop hating for the sheer sake of being a dirty hatahh.

i dont watch it, because it's so terrible based on prior viewing tongue.gif

Posted by: Jarkchild 10th January 2009, 01:50 PM

So how do you know it's terrible now? And when did you watch it? Cast, writers, producers change. Fool.

Posted by: Suedehead2 11th January 2009, 09:25 PM

The first few minutes were terrible but, fortunately, it picked up from there. And it has played a part in MGMT making the top 20 which has to be a good thing. yahoo.gif

Posted by: Aled. 11th January 2009, 09:53 PM

Forgot about it so i only catched the last 20 mins or so. Very glad to see Rachel is still there and aint dead though.

Posted by: Mikeyjosh 11th January 2009, 10:30 PM

So glad this is back.love it.
Im pretty glad Mika and Brett have gone, probs my least fave characters
and loving the new additions. Hopefully this series will be brilliant, roll on Tim Healy.

I think the ratings were down on last years opening ep though.

Posted by: Mikeyjosh 11th January 2009, 10:43 PM

Oh and the thing that made it all the more special for me was using two of my fave songs right now - Kids and Breakeven smile.gif

Posted by: Jarkchild 11th January 2009, 10:47 PM

They like The Script laugh.gif They played We Cry too! It still got 5m smile.gif The change of timeslot has affected it though. And yeah Mika sucked but Brett was FIT heehee.gif

Posted by: Chris_2k9 14th January 2009, 03:42 PM

I need to catch up with this before tonight haha

Posted by: Aled. 14th January 2009, 10:23 PM

Posted by: The Jark Knight 11th February 2009, 04:25 PM

People still watching? This series has only been drawing ratings of around 4.3 million but I think it's as excellent as ever. Mistake to move it to Wednesdays.

Posted by: nickthenoodle 11th February 2009, 05:33 PM

I love this show tongue.gif It'd better not get axed :|

Posted by: Aled. 11th February 2009, 05:43 PM

Hmmm, overall it's been a good series but i think the addition of the Kelly's has meant that some charcetsr have just faded into the background a bit.
There was some great acting from the women who plays Rose in the last scene of the last week's episode though.

Posted by: Chris_2k9 17th February 2009, 02:17 PM

Ive missed the past two episodes sad.gif its been good but i think its more like a soap than a drama now

Posted by: The Jark Knight 17th February 2009, 02:37 PM

I think it's what it's always been...

Posted by: TheRobotKing 25th February 2009, 08:58 PM

I do not cry at TV often, but that was really superb acting from everyone. One of the best episodes for a drama that I've seen in a while, fantastic.

Posted by: Josh 25th February 2009, 09:08 PM

It's always the fit ones that die!!

Fit? She's half-baked, chavvy and trampy =/ Each to their own.

I still love Waterloo Road though. I'm not sure why it works for me but still.

Posted by: Jumi 25th February 2009, 09:13 PM

Max had potential, she just plays a chav! She's a GREAT actress though. I bet a night out with her would be better than cashew nuts.

Properly great episode. Just sad to see one of the best characters gone!

Great episode. My 13 year-old daughter cried!

Posted by: Off_Da_Endz 25th February 2009, 09:31 PM

I'm glad that Earl bloke has gone. He got boring in the first episode.

Posted by: coolnav 25th February 2009, 10:24 PM

Oh my! AMAZING tonight!

She LOOKS half-baked, chavvy and trampy. I realise she is portrayed as a tearaway teen but she ain't no fit in my eyes Joshyboii.

Le Snif et Le Snof ;_;

Posted by: Lukuzz 26th February 2009, 01:27 PM

that was a brilliant episode, I even shed a tear blush.gif

Posted by: Charts-UK 26th February 2009, 01:35 PM

It was a great episode, very sad at the end.

Posted by: Aled. 26th February 2009, 04:03 PM

Very sad episode indeed. Some great acting aswell IMO.

Posted by: Chemical_Halo 26th February 2009, 04:30 PM

I love Denise Welch.

I'm not sure if that's even her name, but she could have some hot lovin, regardless.
OOFT and that blonde teacher who had to look after that scatty woman's, scatty daughter.
I'd properly throw him a bone or two. OR SEVERAL.

Posted by: Jumi 26th February 2009, 04:35 PM

He likes bones of the other variety though Chem. ohmy.gif

Yes Denise Welch is ACTUAL God. If it was her killed off I'd literally have to stop watching.

Posted by: Chemical_Halo 26th February 2009, 04:41 PM

I wish I had that variety of bone :[. He'd get a right good seeing to ahah.

SAME. I even have to watch Loose Women sometimes because of her. I have some sort of obscene fetish with her :`[!

Posted by: Chris_2k9 26th February 2009, 10:36 PM

I love Denise Welsh too, I don't think theres a programme ive ever disliked her in.

Sad episode sad.gif

Posted by: Jake 26th February 2009, 11:12 PM

The blonde dude is gay? I didn't realise he has anything going on his life other than being THERE.

That said I did see a total of NIL episodes last series.

Posted by: Jumi 27th February 2009, 12:06 AM

Yeah, Matt's gay. In one epi last series he organised a class trip to his bf's design firm where naturally the fact that they were a couple got out, cue much embarassment. He's a pretty good character I think, if only because he and Steph giggle lots in schoolgirl fashion, plus his line in the underground boxing fight epi about pulling that move he learned on TV was immense.

Posted by: Chris_2k9 15th April 2009, 07:10 PM

Has anyone been keeping up with this? Ive missed loads lately

Posted by: Chris_2k9 15th April 2009, 07:58 PM

They love Pink tonight laugh.gif

Posted by: Ms Keri's Baby 15th April 2009, 08:01 PM

Davina was my favourite sad.gif I cried when she and Jack first split up heehee.gif So sad! Argh! It'll be crud without her!

Posted by: Aled. 15th April 2009, 10:13 PM

So is she actually gorn for good then? Shame, but she was much better in the second series before she hooked up with Tom IMO.

Posted by: Chris_2k9 15th April 2009, 10:15 PM

Atleast we still have Steph heart.gif

It's frigging scandalous how underused she's been this time around. sad.gif

Posted by: OrgasmicLust 15th April 2009, 10:21 PM

Does anyone else think Tom is going to shag that Rose Kelly bird? =/

I missed today's episode so I will have to watch it on IPlayer.

Posted by: Aled. 15th April 2009, 10:24 PM

^Yeap, that'll probably happen. Gosh, you can see the storylines coming miles off.

Posted by: Ms Keri's Baby 15th April 2009, 10:40 PM

That's what I FEAR. I just HOPE that being left by Davina shakes him to his senses.

Posted by: Steve69 18th April 2009, 02:10 PM

if Steph left there would be no point in watching.
