Really hoping that the majority of my favs can qualify here (Scotland 2 to send Death Grips into the final pls)!

I doubt that I'll qualify this time around but at least I really love my entry this time around Hyped for the masterful presentation that will be shown off as well

the reactions to my entry during the listenthrough were mostly shrugs so I'm definitely thinking that I'm out this time, hopefully I'm wrong but that and the lack of semi predictions doesn't look like a good sign

I mean, it's hard to make comment on whether something "got a reaction" or not because there's not been a huge deal of discussion so far.

Hoping, and mildly confident, this entry can take me over the ~record-breaking~ finish line. I'm having the rare moment of my entry actually growing on me more and more through the contest, rather than have it prepared and excited to send it. Can't get enough of it right now so hoping others are in a similar boat.

I think this is a new best entry to date for me from Conoria again (for the second time in a row x), great to see that through! Cadelicia was fun too x

I admittedly liked the Boney M. song a little less on second listen but aw I thought that would have made it, an unexpectedly leftfield sound for them.

Yay for Ajanaeda again, not quite hitting me as hard as the previous Siouxsie entry but still good stuff. The FLJ song is pretty good if maybe a little style over substance but maybe it could grow on me more x

Oh nooo @ Pestolia - that just missed out on my top 10 of semi 1 but am pretty sure it'd have made my final votes and was kinda looking forward to it. The world was not ready for such hi def visuals I fear

Scotland 2 was great obvz (6th in semi 1 for me) but if 'Hacker' couldn't qualify there was no way in hell this would realistically so no surprise x

Well... that's only the second time ever that Jadaphonia have both DNQed whoops x That is really disappointing considering how well Wardruna and Heilung did in the contest before but maybe just not enough of the fanbase of that style were in semi 1 </3 ranked 2nd in the semi for me anyway. (same as Margaritas Podridas last month, smh x)

Freedonia was my 2 pointer so my first loss from my votes in my own semi - it is one that I think would usually fall short of my votes so benefiting from the weak semi a little but still thought it was kind of iconic so a shame to see it out, the wait continues for a second Freedonia qualifier </3

Terra Avium was 10th in semi 1 for me, another one that was a grower on second listen and I did think it sounded like quite a risky pick but still aw yet another loss, semi 1 is not being friendly to the alt songs.

Yes at Ingermanlandia…I think the sample was used later in 2000’s mainly Pakito (if I’m not mistaken) but it was such a great discovery <3

Woo for a Persephonia alumnus qualifying to round out even if I'm not yet as sold on this particular song as I hoped.

The Kylienips entry grew on me on second listen, shame to see that out too - lost nearly half of my top 15 of semi 1 in the end which kinda sucks as I was relying on that semi to give me enough songs I wanted to vote for in the final (I think there's still just about 15 vote worthy songs still in but maybe a no commiserations month unless more songs grow on me x)

Oh my at how close some of these DNQs were Jade, Rollo and Chez 1, 2 and 3 points away in SF1, and there really wasn't much between my 8 and 10 pointers nor my 1 and 2, so the SF2 results could have been quite different!

Lol I remember I posted not too long ago about how I've only ever once missed out on qualifying by 1 place - I summoned it happening a second time and going out on a tiebreak to boot 50 points is a good haul anyway (that's more points than I got when qualifying with Deadlands last year and equal to Black Belt Eagle Scout) so I guess just getting a bit unlucky, ah well! Thanks Iz and Savan for the silver and bronze medal respectively + blacksquare, Dan, Jake, Mack, dandy*, Doctor B, Dot, Suede and Jim for the rest of the points, and whoever beat me on that tiebreak sleep with an eye open x

Naurrr at Jadakissnia also being one place off and so close for both Rolloland and Terra Avium too aw, really wishing I had been in semi 1 but what can ya do x

Tartford having 9 voters and coming last - 6 of those being 1 pointers and another being a 2 kind of ikonik.

What!!! Terra Avium that was pretty much a decent track that was my 12 pointer, originally I had a different country with 12 points, but it changed as the track grew on me.

And I gave 6 points to Flowered Up, my guess it was a tad too long for this competition but still a decent track.

Really really gutted to lose POSE! in semi-final 1 It was such a banger the first time I hear on NMF especially that drop at the end. I fear it might have taken too long to build I also lost Sosban Fach which is quite a discovery for me. The recap slot is pretty cvnty and the full song is rather decent! Shame it would've been ICONIC to see a Welsh entry in the grand final! Both New Lexico and UVland were iconic particularly the latter! I was SHOCKED that your wigs weren't SNATCHED already??? Y'all did her dirty!

I know some of "just-missed" tracks have joined my voted countries Ben's sanctuary, Bhangra and Tartford who didn't make the final, and I echo Cody's comment Ben's wuz robbed! My 12 pointer. Special commis for Jade who just got edged out of my points and needed that one point, doh, didn't expect that!

I thought with this song I could "easily" go to the final, but I guess it didn´t click with the countries in my semi. I guess Semi 1 was also a bit more indie/alternative than usual.
