I’m to poor to attend so I’m PRAYING she does a date in my home town because just then I could be able to go! But I really can’t afford to travel etc at the moment.

Gaga pls wait! If the stadium rumour is true it’s vaguely possible she could do Sunderland The Spice Girls and both Rihanna and Pink have done shows there in the past. Pink probably being closest to Gaga in terms of having a huge set etc and being a stadium act. If it’s not stadiums and it’s arenas that’s where I could struggle. The arena in Newcastle often gets left out by large females because it doesn’t accommodate sets very well (or I’m so told) although Katy had her witness tour there.

She’s in Vegas until May.

I need to go but really can’t afford anything yet! So I hope the announcement comes around June time or later.

If the UK tour happens to be when I’m in Budapest I will RIOT!

It’s so happening though and I’m so going.

Maybe announcement coming this or next Friday and they’ll go on sale the following week? So either 13th or the 20th for sale?

There was a stadium rumour so summer fits for it being stadiums but I’d sort of hope it’s 2021 for the sake of her health and it would mean the era having legs too and being long running.

I guess we will soon see.

I think this tour will likely start in the UK or Europe though. Probably in all the cancelled Joanne dates first?


Update: just thought if it’s stadiums it may be better for her bc it means more people in one place at same time and less need to add extra shows?

I don't know whether to book tickets again as I lost out on travel money and the booking fee which wasn't refunded last time, it adds up to a lot of money when you have buy a couple of tickets.

The last couple of times I’ve seen her I’ve done a coach tour with tickets, hotel and travel included in price so I’m hoping to get a similar deal or hope she legit plays Newcastle or Sunderland just for the sake of being able to spend like a fiver getting there and back and not have to take any time off work etc.

With ARTRAVE she legit did Newcastle but it was added after I paid for the O2 (:

Been ringing all my local travel agencies seeing what deals they have for it where everything is included like tickets, travel etc.

Tottenham stadium is a right way away though isn’t it like it’s not central London is it?

Hopeful I’ll be able to go though. Nearly passed out when I seen just one date (I totally get why I just knew it would be London! and people who live in London are complaining it’s too far too).

She'd burn out if she did too many dates, especially with her Vegas residency. I respect the fact she's not doing night after night after night in a bunch of different countries. Her health comes first

None of the stadiums are central, it’s no further out than Wembley would be.

Gonna try my hardest to get tickets, it has a capacity of over 60,000 so even with only two Europe dates I don’t think it’ll be as hard as some here or thinking Hopefully if the demand is there, she already has another night booked in and ready to announce..?

She might very well add dates later on. I assume these 130,000 tickets in Europe are sold out very quickly. BUT 130,000 people is like 10 arena concerts so that's a lot of people.

Just spent a good hour or so with my partner sorting out plans for this. And it's now ON if I can secure tickets when they go on sale. It's in the summer holidays and we planned to travel for it, but we're going to work it around the 30th July because I basically said I canNOT miss this and he has agreed to it.

I keep panicking! Three Gaga tours now I’ve managed a package tour and I managed one with Pink in London and Xtina in Manchester too.

Demand will be more on Pink level I’d imagine. I’m low key worrying I might miss out but the deals I usually get for everything like travel from Newcastle, hotel, tickets and a trip usually come to the £200 mark for them all and the seats have always been good too!

I do think we will perhaps get one more additional show per city but not much more than that. I need to go I’m doing overtime to try and help me out too

It's gonna be an expensive week for me. I'm in London the week before for the film/tv comic con which finishes on the Sunday so I may as well stay until the Friday morning now...which is another 4 days worth of accommodation to pay out for

My travel agency are getting back too me at some point at the weekend.

I’m hopeful that I’ll get a package as I have with a lot of tours in the past I managed one with P!nk last summer and 3 other Gaga shows too! But with there it just being one date I don’t know

Im definitely planning on going though even if I get the tickets separate and just do a deal of travel and accommodation. One good thing (well I’m saying it’s good) is the show isn’t on a weekend so I’m hopeful that’ll work in my favour

If worse comes to worse and this does get cancelled or moved it’s unlikely it’d be in November right. Don’t even have tickets yet but I have two holidays booked. One in May when she’s still doing Enigma and the other in November.

Just my two cents, but you should consider going alone I think if you can't find anyone to go with. It's fun when you can do what you want, laugh dance and cry if you want, and the concert of course is a celebration of being a fan of Gaga.

I don't think people should really be afraid of going to concerts and events alone in general. My first concert abroad was Justin Timberlake with his FS/LS tour and I traveled by myself. It was great: I had a hotel room, did some shopping and went to venue early so I could be in the front row.

I seen Xtina alone in November just gone but that was on a package tour I always do them as a package incase of worst case scenarios happening like cancellations or date changes etc. I was insured when Gaga rescheduled my Joanne date as that was a package so I didn’t lose out on any money I just had to re jig my holidays round at where I was working.

I don’t mind if I’m right at the back tbh as long as I’m there there’s a few people who may go with me it’s just they’re not like a definite yes rn they’re nervous of possible cancellations / corona too!


(Tbh the company I usually go with get tickets from National Holidays and currently they’re on lock down so I think me ringing them every day asking if they have tickets for this is p!**ing them off as their priority is people who’s genuine holidays / trips they’ve booked and paid for aren’t going ahead).

Whats the views or ideas about what's going to happen with this tour? It seems like most summer tours are being pushed back, but then most of them started a month or two earlier than the Chromatica Ball

In her post she seemed optimistic that the dates wouldn't change but I suppose it isn't really up to her, I imagine it will become more clear a week on Sunday when the government give an update on the future of the lockdown situation. The album will also need to be released in the next couple months if it does go ahead when it is meant to

If it is going to be postponed I hope its pushed back a year so its still in the summer tbh

I feel like I'd be a little more disappointed if it isn't postponed - anyone with underlying health conditions may not be able to take the risk to gather in such a large group even if we are way beyond the peak so will miss out
Just hope its announced fairly soon so not too many people book travel and hotels etc

An American Heath Expert has said he can't see any music concerts happening before Autumn 2021, and that's at the earliest
I Really want this to be a summer tour, I thought a year from June/July would definitely be safe enough but who knows now

It does make you wonder why some acts and festivals are pushing back till like September time - not very likely mass gathering will be allowed then

The announcement surely is imminent at this point. They really should announce the delay ASAP as people may still be booking travel and accommodation (for whatever reason).
As unlikely as it is, there's a small part of me that is kinda worried she will change the venues and all tickets will have to be re-sold or something along those lines

I’ve seen some speculation on twitter than they’ll wait till after the album release as ticket sales bundles will help the album in release week, which kinda makes sense

But I think it’s pretty annoying of her team to not delay it yet seeing as things are starting to go back to normal, people who don’t read into all the details about the phases may assume this will be allowed to go ahead and start booking travel and accommodation etc seeing as it’s so close now

Nothings been said about a reschedule yet I don’t think.

I’m definitely planning on going though I didn’t get tickets for the original date but I’m just gonna completely hold off from getting them until a new date is confirmed I’m thinking it’s gonna go ahead next summer now.

But by the time that comes we will all be so familiar with the album and we may well be onto a deluxe edition / a re release in a year too. I’m with you though Jack it feels strange having no concerts at all. I had a Dua show booked for June as well but that’s been moved to January now!

They should delay it a whole year. This era can have longevity so it hopefully won't matter too much. If they're building the stage it must mean they have plans for it to happen at some point.

I tried to see if I could still buy tickets today and I could! So I’m hopeful I’ll snap some up but I’m waiting for the new date on the off chance there’s some good seats going for sale for people who might not want to go to the new date or those selling tickets.

Even if a new date isn’t announced right away the postponement confirmation has got to be coming very soon.

Did you use Ticketmaster? If so, your tickets will be available to download on the website/app closer to the time. I think you can either print them or keep them on your phone.

I really don't know what to expect at this point, it's in the news today that most UK festivals will likely be called off by the end of this month for this year, and Im assuming that'll cover large concerts too

If it does have to be postponed again, will she want to be touring an album possibly over 2 years after it came out, she'll likely have other projects to be focusing on by then

If, say Chromaticas era was like Dua’s Future Nostalgia (an era she was obviously committed on from the get go and has a real passion for) I’d think perhaps the tour is happening but us Gaga stans know Gaga and we know that this era is one she kind of would prefer to move on from I genuinely feel she’s more invested in Love for Sale than she is for this album. I think the album itself was kind of like therapy at the time and Gaga being generous to her fans, it was a gift to us in terms of turning into a pop/dance album but I think she’s moved on from the era and a tour would feel really like something she’s contracted to do rather than something she wants to do.

I’ve seen this too! Supposedly there was a “last minute delay” and all dates are being announced at the same time this Friday with tickets going on sale on March 3rd. Gaga Daily account also is hinting an announcement is imminent but until we hear it from Gaga herself it’s just a case of waiting and waiting

Just what do we believe though. I pray she does announce something herself before The Weeknd tickets go on sale so I can plan that accordingly in the event of a clash of dates (luckily though he’s doing more shows so I have more opportunity to see him) but yeah I guess we all need a date confirmed for time off work etc too and travel arrangements. That July 29th date is getting thrown around a lot but it seems to have just come from that being the last Friday in July same as last time I believe?

Gucci's shooting ended in early May. The tour should have taken place during summer of last year.

She was doing nothing during last year's summer. She was only busy for a few days in early July and early August to film MTV Unplugged and the One Last Time special with Tony, all of which could have been brought forward to May/June. Thus, she would have 3 months for the tour (July-September), since the Vegas residency only returned in October.

I don't recall a US artist touring Europe in summer 2021. Most of the festivals were cancelled too. She did postpone the tour for 2021, but it couldn't take place.

Even couple of weeks ago Doja Cat cancelled her performance at the BRITs due to covid.

I think they should inform us more about the plans, because it's frustrating, but in the end the tour was never going to happen before 2022 anyway.

Not in Europe but a lot of acts like Guns N' Roses and Harry Styles were touring the US throughout the summer and fall of 2021. She could have pushed the international dates to 2022 and played, like, 20 shows in the US in 2021 like most artists did.

My big stress for this was whether it impacted on my holiday away on the Summer. I have booked my place from 29th July to 11th August. So I'll be doing this and then heading to my holiday the day after - only one day after schedule which is great.

Also, is she really going to skip Oceania and Asia for the second tour in a row? (especially Oceania, ASIB spent 11 weeks at #1 in Australia and 16 consecutive weeks at #1 in NZ, breaking Ed's Divide record)

I am going on the 29th!

I have been to many gigs on my own before, including the Born This Way Ball for Gaga and as it happens- that was my favourite tour of hers! Going on your own is scary at first but can be so liberating. You can completely let go and be one with the music - I have done it in the last and will do in the future whenever I don't have people to go with.

It'll be such a safe, loving community so I hope you manage to join whether on your own or with others.

When an artist goes on a stadium tour, we think of football stadiums and not baseball stadiums. Football stadiums are bigger, prettier and generate higher boxscore. Doing a show in a baseball stadium is the same as doing 3 shows in arenas. Doing a show in a football stadium is the same as doing 5 shows in arenas.

General capacity:

Football stadiums: 40k-80k
Baseball Stadiums: 25k-45k

If she can't do many concerts due to health conditions, football stadiums are perfect for her concerts. They hold the largest possible number of audiences in a few dates. She has demand for it, all 6 dates put up for sale first are practically sold out already even without new stuff in 2 years. Her manager underestimates her demand.

The choice to have it closed is up to her team and especially her manager, as they organize everything about the tour together with LiveNation and were aware of it, and why would the stadium not allow people in its upper ring? It doesn't make sense since the more audience the more money they make. They did this because they underestimated her demand, they thought she wouldn't pack the stadium so they closed the entire upper ring before sales even opened to the public. Her manager can sort this out with a phone call, but will he? No.

Also, her team was so stupid as to book a show in Netherlands instead of booking in Italy where her demand is 10x higher and tickets would be already sold out, unlike the current situation of the show in Holland. Even Belgium or Switzerland would have been a better country for her to do this show.

I hope this happens and that it’s actual new material.

I’m optimistic we may well get something like the albums over 2 years old by the time we get to the tour so as far as the original album goes I don’t think there’ll be another single push but we might get a standalone release like The Cure?

It would be great if the album got a re-release or extension but im not too sure that will happen as we’ve already had Dawn of Chromatica. We will soon see though. I’d love to see Chromatica return to the UK Top 100 again.

You're forgetting the show in Netherlands. The situation is critical, she has only sold half of her tickets so far and her team does literally nothing to sell them. You don't find anyone from the country on twitter posting billboards about the show or ads of the show on TV, nothing. Not to mention the Stockholm show which is almost sold out and they still haven't released the upper ring for sale (like, why book a stadium show if you're only going to make an arena capacity available for sale?!). Why does she have a manager if he doesn't do his job right?

.. I was only today looking at the humongous run for the Born This Way Ball and how much of a strain it must have been on her body to give the energy she always gives for months and months. More dates will be great but we need to keep it realistic and do-able given her health and strength!
