Considering that the film's soundtrack will be mostly jazz and that its biggest inspiration will be the Cabaret soundtrack, she shouldn't waste a year making it.
If it's jazz, it won't make any noise on the charts, as pure sales are dead and critical acclaim isn't certain, and without commercial success, the chances of a single from the soundtrack having award-winning success are low, as the film is a blockbuster and not an indie film.
She must wake up and realize that this is 2023 and not 1973, the industry is different.
Lead single in September and album in October would be good and she's done that several times in the past, and I hope she does. However, lead single in Jan 2024 and album in Q1 2024 would be better as the Christmas flood would have already dropped off the charts, look at Miley, it worked out really well for her.

I do think it could work depending on the songs production style but they’re both vocalists and I can imagine it potentially being fantastic. We shall see though. I’d love for this to be true so much. First week sales, yes. Dua has hits for GP (in Europe at least, I know she is struggling a bit in streams in the US) so she will probably do better in the long run.
I think it depends on how "commercial" LG7 will be. If it's "Prince-influenced", rock and "dark" like some of the early rumors and the Haus photoshoots suggest, it might lean more towards critically acclaimed album instead of huge crowd-pleaser. On the other hand, smash hit like Rain on Me would help. But we'll see.
Chromatica debuted very well on Spotify, all songs were in top 100. I would be happy with something similar this time around and would be great if the focus track would stick there for a while.

It seems that albums with 30 songs are the new norm among female artists... I expect nothing less from Gaga. These 4 years of waiting must have a good reason because everyone is receiving a feast while we are starving. 
No! I would love to have 14-16 songs. Even that would bring her own PB in streaming. She will never be as big as Taylor or Beyoncé on day 1, so no need to compete.
Who's talking about numbers, she has nothing to prove I just want a flood of new music from her.
