Get ready, little monsters: A Lady Gaga beauty line might be coming sooner than we think.
The "Joanne" singer is reportedly taking the plunge into makeup mogul-dom with a forthcoming brand called Haus Beauty — a possible nod to the Haus of Gaga, the creative force behind some of her best-known looks. According to celeb news site The Blast, Gaga and her team are working to trademark the name, which would be an entirely new venture for the singer/fashion designer/activist. Allure confirmed the trademark application, and notes that per the United States Patent and Trademark Office's website, Haus Beauty could potentially span a massive number of products, including complexion cosmetics, lip, eye, and cheek products, fragrance, skin- and body-care, and more. There is also apparently going to be a product called "beauty milk," which sounds equal parts fascinating and intriguing.
After the news broke, fans realized that Lady Gaga may have actually been dropping hints about the makeup line on her own social feeds for months. In January, she posted a closeup beauty shot on her Instagram, sharing some details behind the makeup look. She captioned the shot "#hauseditorials," which given this new information about the trademark, could mean something totally different (cough, a beauty campaign) than fans originally imagined.
Though Gaga has been a beauty icon for the better part of the last decade, this would be her first time creating her own makeup line. She already has a fragrance and has served as the face of the M.A.C. Viva Glam campaign, but we can't wait to see what kind of products she serves up so we can get our own "poker faces" on at home.
get that dollar! Make-up always on point so this is a good move for her ~

Mother Monster is not only launching her own beauty line, but also opening a boutique shop right on the strip. She is slated to launch her Haus Beauty line and open up shop in late May.
The store is thought to take up a space that's currently under construction in the MGM Grand, conveniently located right outside the entrance of the Park Theater, where Gaga's Enigma residency will be reconvening for six dates between May 30 and June 4. She will also be spending some time in Vegas this winter, performing a "Jazz + Piano" show and yet-to-be-announced New Year's Eve performance.
The pop star has been hinting at the beauty line for months now. In December, her Ate My Heart company trademarked Haus Beauty, which covers products including perfume, foundation, lipstick, highlighter, nail polish and facial cleanser. The name is a nod to her team, Haus Gaga. She even got the word "Haus" tattooed on her arm in 2016.
Though this will be the first product line the 33-year-old has launched, she did put out a signature fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, with COTY in 2012.

Love this article on the power of makeup for Lady Gaga. A must read to help understand why she's so passionate about this venture: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/lady-gaga-makeup-haus-laboratories-allure-beauty-a9102861.html

Lady Gaga has revealed the impact makeup has had on her life, career and confidence as she recalls how she never “felt beautiful” before using cosmetics.
The pop star, who is featured on the October cover of Allure for the magazine’s “Best of Beauty” issue, wore products from her own beauty line Haus Laboratories for the shoot as she opened up about what makeup means to her.
According to the 33-year-old, makeup changed her life, and her hope is that her new line will be able to do the same for others.
“I never felt beautiful, and I still have days that I don’t feel beautiful,” she recalled. “All of the insecurities that I’ve dealt with my whole life from being bullied when I was younger, they come right back up to bite me.
“Then I put makeup on, and before I know it I feel this superhero within. It gives me those wings to fly.”
The Shallow singer also credits makeup, and her makeup artists, with helping her to transform from Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta into Lady Gaga.
“When I became Lady Gaga when I was younger, it was because I discovered makeup. It means so much to me on a deep visceral level - the power of makeup to change how you feel when you’re at your lowest,” she said.
According to Lady Gaga, there were times early in her career that she doesn’t think she would have had the courage to step on stage, due to anxiety and the hectic pace of touring, had it not been for her team of makeup artists, including Sarah Tanno.
The singer recalls how Tanno would “pick me up off the floor” and dry her tears while assuring her that she was going to “put on your face now”.
“Sarah would do my makeup, Freddie [Aspiras]would do my hair, and they would hold me and say: ‘Look at yourself. There’s Lady Gaga. You can do this. Now go do it,’’’ she revealed.
It inspired Lady Gaga to create her own brand, which she hopes will make people feel “completely liberated”, whether they wear a little makeup or a lot.
In the interview, Lady Gaga also discussed the importance of creating a line that is accessible to anyone, no matter how they identify, explaining that she wants all gender identities “to know very clearly that they are included, and never exploited, ever”.

Bobby controls everything. Did you forget the video where she warned him they'd use the demo version of Babylon for her beauty brand commercial?
Posted by: SKOB 1st August 2020, 08:08 AM
Well he is her manager so obviously! But the commercial timelines and goals are very different in make-up business and Haus Labs are also partnering with Amazon who might be in discussions when to launch a product. They'll have a bigger launch later in the autumn I reckon. She is also the face of new Valentino fragrance this season (the campaign will kick off in September).
She will have a huge autumn, believe me, with Haus Labs, new fragrance, new movie in the works, Chromatica deluxe (possibly)... She has also hinted about new music with Tony so Cheek 2 Cheek incoming

The point is that no matter who's behind the cameras advising her career, they should focus on the music, because that's what made her famous.

We obviously disagree, as her music career has clearly benefitted from her acting career.

I would be surprised if it's anything other than a blush palette. Maybe together with a bronzer or a contouring palette as well but I don't think it will be all three.
This being a highlighters promo would be v underwhelming so it's not likely to be that. Foundation is a huge step so I doubt it's happening any time soon. Same with concealers.

The ability she has to kill her reach and engagement on social media with this bullshit amazes me... She seems to have time for everything but to promote her tour decently.
Posted by: Sour Candy 24th March 2022, 09:00 PM
Her second most recent tweet was about the tour
Posted by: Highausakite 24th March 2022, 09:07 PM
She also isn't just a touring artist, she's a businesswoman and is dominating the field of music, acting, beauty and more so let's not lessen her efforts here because you want an extra tweet about a tour that is months away.
Posted by: Sour Candy 24th March 2022, 09:21 PM
The tour is also selling well so no need to put that extra tweet there, as she is not particularly active in social media these days anyway.

QUOTE(Sour Candy @ Mar 24 2022, 06:00 PM)
Her second most recent tweet was about the tour
You forgot to mention that she pinned a philanthropy tweet. And I'm talking about the drop her social media reach takes when she posts stuff that no one cares about. I know you know that, but I'll show you:
Mar 1: Tweet with photos of her at the SAG awards - 71k likes
Mar 7: Tweet about Chromatica Ball - 60k likes (would have more if the original Tweet hadn't been deleted because they got the name of the German city wrong, pure amateurism)
And then she retweets about a Chromatica Ball concert and then does FIVE retweets in a row about mental health and one Tweet about mental health that even pinned only got 14k likes
Mar 14: • Tweet with pictures of her at the BAFTAs red carpet - 45k likes • Tweet about Chromatica Ball - 23k likes
Today: Tweet about her beauty brand (with a video from last year) - 10k likes
See? Every time she posts something her fans don't give a shit/don't like, her subsequent tweets with real content get a drop in reach, just look at the numbers. Isn't it obvious that her social media is a hot mess? That's why she only has 52M followers on Instagram while her peers have over 100M followers and she, who used to be the queen of Twitter, has now been left behind by several artists.
What's the point of cluttering her timeline with countless retweets about topics that no one gives a damn when she has specific accounts for that?! If she wants to promote her beauty brand, do it on the dedicated account. If she wants to spark a conversation about mental health, she has to do it on the account of the BTW foundation.
The point is, she boycotts herself with all that mess and either she doesn't have a professional team to manage her social media and expand her reach and popularity on the internet or they are getting paid to do literally nothing.

I didn't say she's just a touring artist, did I? Interpretation is essential. I said she has specific accounts to promote other areas she's involved in, and that would be good for two reasons: it would solidify the other accounts and it wouldn't get in the way of her main account either.

I think otherwise, it's not time for her to mess up maybe the biggest release of the year with her brand, she could have waited until next week and focused only on promoting Hold My Hand, but the money comes first.

Lady Gaga's Haus Labs is Back and Better Than Ever
The Queen of Reinvention talks about reinventing Haus Labs.
"I was not yet an expert in the beauty industry when I first launched Haus Labs," Lady Gaga confesses to me over Zoom from her bathroom. In front of her is a collection of brightly colored products—the new version of Haus Labs. "Back then, I was an expert in my stage makeup, an expert in my red carpet makeup, an expert in fashion makeup."
The OG Haus Labs launched in 2019, giving consumers the Lady Gaga makeup experience. And we wanted it! But in the last two and a half years, Gaga has realized two things:
Most consumers aren't wearing a version of her stage, red carpet, or fashion makeup. Her cravings regarding her makeup routine are no longer the same.
And so, as of today, Haus Labs has changed, too.
You'll still find all the artistry you'd expect from a makeup line from Lady Gaga—bold pigments and cool textures—and something that's a surprise, too. "All of the products are infused with skincare ingredients, some of which are proprietary to our lab," she shares. "We've also removed 2,600 dirty ingredients. So you're getting that high performance and high pigment payoff. You're also getting makeup that makes a difference in your skin."
The day we talk, Gaga's eyes are painted with the Hy-Power Pigment Paint in Mint Matte, which matches the latex blazer she's wearing. It comes in 20 different matte and shimmer varieties, including subtle rose golds, a muted peach, and any bold shade your heart could desire. And don't forget the bonus ingredients: low weight hyaluronic acid and squalane.
"I love lip stains," she says while dabbing a doe-foot onto her mouth. "But not how they always seem to dry my lips out, so we made a lip oil that doubles as a stain. Once you blot it, it seeps into your lips, leaving you with a beautiful pH-balancing color."
When people think of clean beauty, they usually think of no-makeup makeup. Haus Labs's newest iteration is breaking that mold—you can now have your Euphoria-inspired beauty look while using products that are part of the clean beauty world. On top of the previously mentioned universal paints and lip oil stains, there are gel-bronzers, highlighters, lip crayons, eyeliners, and brow pencils, all available at the brand's website and Sephora.
And for those who still want the full Gaga-face, don't stress. "You will still recognize this brand as an artistry brand without ever calling it a clean brand," she adds.
It must be amazing for her to see herself in shop windows where she didn't even have the money to buy products she wanted when she was younger. A winner.

TikTok Is Abuzz Over Lady Gaga’s New $45 Foundation That Rivals $140 FormulasIt completely covers my cystic acne.
It’s always a pleasant surprise when the time I spend on TikTok pays off. The eerily accurate algorithm has given me countless recipes to try, aesthetics to replicate, and meme-able moments to remember — and thanks to the hype on TikTok over Haus Labs’ foundation, I’ve found a new all-time favorite base product.
Makeup enthusiasts across the platform can’t stop talking about the latest release from Lady Gaga’s clean beauty brand, the Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, which launched earlier this month with a range of 51 shades. Per a spokesperson for the brand, the Korean-manufactured formula took two years and over 40 iterations to perfect — a process that included testing the shades on over 400 people.
As with all things Gaga, her commitment had serious pay off: TikTok users are so enamored with the foundation that one review video has earned over 163,000 likes and millions of views. As creator Audrey Hsu said, “This is the future of foundation. This is not a ‘your skin but better’ kind of foundation, this is the kind that makes people stare at you and go, was she created in a lab yesterday?”
She’s not wrong. After testing a free sample of the foundation for the last few weeks, I can’t get enough of it — even as someone who’s by and large abstained from wearing foundation daily (which deserves a step on the self-actualization hierarchy, IMO). So truly, I’m reaching for the vegan fluid for the sheer joy of it.
On that note, one pump of the foundation looks medium-sheer and glowy, with a level of dewy moisture that sinks into skin and basically blends itself out. Yet even on days when I’m breaking out in vicious zits, the slightest dab patted onto the pimples as a concealer obliterates any redness and leaves them undetectable, and it’s easily buildable for fuller coverage.
Shoppers at Sephora give the foundation similarly high marks. As one person with oily combination skin and wrinkles said, it went smoothly over their “life lines” and stayed that way — and another user commented that the coverage didn’t melt, even in 100-plus degree weather. It “feels like nothing on the skin,” a penultimate fan said, while a last reviewer on TikTok dubbed it a dupe for their $140 foundation.
Between Haus Labs’ excellent eyeliners and the Triclone Skin Tech Foundation, the brand is building quite the name for itself, even beyond Gaga’s star appeal. If you’d like to try the latter, get it for $45 at Sephora.
Having a cuppa in celebration of something exciting coming tomorrow 🍵

I can’t tell you how much amazing make-up I have seen in the UK over the years performing there as a musician, especially from the fans. I have also been inspired working with make-up artists like Val Garland. I remember as a very young girl watching the McQueen shows and seeing the way that make-up went from barely there to high-fashion prosthetics and references to Leigh Bowery. It’s incredible the way the UK has influenced the world in terms of fashion. I love it so much. The Chromatica Ball was very much inspired by the UK and its relationship with art, fashion and make-up.
Lady Gaga Is Ready to Shake Up the Makeup World "Makeup was a way to be whomever I wanted to be at any given moment and say the things on the outside that I was feeling on the inside."
In the tradition of pop icons like David Bowie and Madonna before her, Lady Gaga is a master of reinvention. With every album launch comes a new, fully realized persona—from an electropop princess for The Fame to a guitar-strumming, pink-cowboy-hat-donning Americana darling for Joanne.
Then there are the red-carpet appearances, which are often more akin to performance art. Remember the meat dress? (The woman wore an actual flank steak on her head.) Or the time she turned up at the Grammys in an egg hoisted by latex-clad models?
But make no mistake about it: With Lady Gaga, it’s never a mere gimmick or an attention grab. There is an earnestness to every look and every decision—a true devotion to artistry.
“When people would say ‘persona’ to me, I used to feel almost offended because my persona is still an extension of my personality,” she says. “I think the implication is that it’s not real or that it’s fake, but it’s always real.”
The same goes for her makeup. Whether she’s rocking a full face or barely a stitch, she is completely herself—or, rather, one of her selves. That’s part of the ethos behind Haus Labs, her makeup line, which she relaunched last year. For her, it’s not so much about how the products make you look (although, spoiler: They make you look really good, especially the new concealer, but more on that later) but how they make you feel: strong, confident and never like you’re hiding or striving to be someone else. Here, the multi-hyphenate opens up about self-care, feeling beautiful and doing things her way.
WHAT HAS WORKING ON HAUS LABS TAUGHT YOU ABOUT MAKEUP?
“I didn’t realize how much people didn’t believe in innovation—or that it was even possible—in the makeup space. It was much more about how you look wearing a makeup product than about feeling your best and makeup being good for your skin. It kind of didn’t matter if makeup was good or bad for your skin as long as you looked good—and I really hated that. I thought: ‘This is exactly what I don’t want. So how can we make this better?’ Considering all the amazing innovations you see all over the world when it comes to different kinds of products that are not makeup, I thought, ‘Well, we can definitely make a brand that’s clean, vegan and cruelty-free and not sacrifice performance but optimize performance.’ Makeup should be extremely functional. The thing I’m so proud of with this company is that it has the heart and soul of the things I love about self-care and beauty.”
SELF-CARE SEEMS TO BE A KEY ELEMENT IN HAUS LABS’ MESSAGING. WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT TO YOU?
“I know first-hand that makeup can really help transform your spirit, build your confidence and strengthen your sense of self. Some people feel like that shouldn’t be the case—that when you have no makeup on, you should just feel 100 percent confident in yourself. And if that’s how someone feels, that’s wonderful, but that’s just not true for everybody. For some people, makeup is a way to feel better about who they are and express who they are. I’m a big believer in makeup as self-care. I wanted to frame it that way within the company so we could say ‘This is not just about how you look; this is about how you feel.’”
BEING INNOVATIVE IS SOMETHING YOU’RE KNOWN FOR AS A MUSICIAN. HOW DID YOU PUSH FOR INNOVATION WITH HAUS LABS?
“When I started this brand, I think people wanted me to innovate in the space of creativity because that’s how they know me. And I did—I just did it differently. I did it by applying skin science to our formulas. It was more of an exercise in innovation and formulation. With the concealer, for example, everybody wants a concealer that brightens, blurs and conceals in the most beautiful way—and this [one] does. It has an extremely creamy, beautiful texture and amazing ingredients. But the additional thing it does—which is kind of the hallmark of what I’ve been doing with this company—is expand knowledge of beauty. We’ve done a lot of testing using a biotech caffeine that’s [based on] Ayurvedic medicine, so it looks beautiful. This concealer gives you long-lasting beauty effects: It de-puffs under the eyes and decreases redness all over the skin. It allows you to feel like you’re taking care of yourself all day long.”
WHERE DID YOUR LOVE OF SKIN SCIENCE COME FROM?
“As a kid, I always watched my mom take care of herself, and she was vigilant about her morning skincare routine, a beautiful makeup routine and makeup as self-care. When I started this brand, I knew I wanted it to be inclusive. That was the number one thing. Then I thought about what else I wanted it to be. [I noticed] there was this huge problem in makeup: When you wear it all the time, it wrecks your skin. I wear a lot of makeup because I’m a performer, so I wanted to push myself in this space. What got me so into skin science was my love of taking care of my own skin. I started reading a lot of articles and books [and] educating myself. Then I started sharing my own homeopathic remedies with the company and working with the labs as well. That’s how we develop our products—they’re really a reflection of my philosophy on skin.”
HOW HAS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH BEAUTY EVOLVED OVER TIME?
“When I was a teenager, I was really self-conscious and I loved makeup and the way it helped give me some type of superhero cape. When I was in high school, I did a full-face high-cover- age foundation. When I got out of high school, I discovered eyeliner—I found that it really gave me a [way to] express the edge of my personality. I went to a school where it wasn’t really okay to express [yourself] with your physical appearance. So I really started screaming [about who I was] when I got out of school. Then I got deeper and deeper into music and started to create these various personas for myself with makeup, and they all felt natural. For me, makeup was a way to be whomever I wanted to be at any given moment and say the things on the outside that I was feeling on the inside—but not with words. Instead of telling people who you are, you’re showing them.”
WHAT MUST-HAVE PRODUCTS DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE ON YOU?
“I’m not just saying this, but I do actually always have our concealer in my pocketbook. It’s the first thing I put on after my moisturizer in the morning, even if I’m not doing a full face of makeup. Then I’ll put on some lip oil, and sometimes I’ll take the lip oil from my lips and dab it on my cheeks. If I’m really feeling like I want to have a little something extra, I’ll add a blush into the mix—our Color Fuse blush. And I’m done! I would say that’s my everyday look.”
WHAT’S BEEN THE MOST REWARDING PART OF LAUNCHING YOUR OWN BRAND?
“We love our fans so much, and we just want to make everyone happy by delivering high-quality products that really enhance the artistry experience and the beauty experience. So, for me, there’s always that warmth in my heart when I see the makeup make somebody’s day.”
