I'm a bit sceptical coz 95% of big name collaborations usually end up being "meh" and disappointing, but I have faith in Gaga.

I really hope this is as special as it sounds. Something like Edge of Glory mixed with no tears left to cry, would be wonderful.

Evacuate The Dancefloor is a bit of a guilty pleasure. It’s sort of as bad as it is good. Like I low key love it but at the same time it feels more 2002 than 2009.

I’ll always remember that as being the song at #1 when Michael Jackson passed. Of all the people to deny him a post humous number one it was Cascada who did it

I said in the Ariana AF that this would be great to tide us over until album release. I don't think the album's going to lose out on sales by this release still going ahead and it's not like a collaboration as big as this is going to struggle.

I think we'll get a promo single before Rain On Me, it seems there was a big budget video and there's no way the label will want to waste its full potential during the outbreak. Gaga had promo lined up to support the track and so maybe something will come before that? Even another single as she's supposedly shot multiple before the virus was issued as a threat in the US.

already growing on me but still a bit underwhelmed it's like be alright on steroids with artpopo production & vocals

On first couple listens I def prefer Stupid Love! (though it feels weird comparing 1st listens for them aha as I spammed the Stupid Love leak throughout January and I've avoided every snippet/leak for ROM so all I'd seen for this was the excessive hype haha)

It sounds like it’s gonna be pretty big I’d say! Probably the most commercial sounding Gaga single (for a solo pop album) since The Edge Of Glory.

With this track I’m kind of happy in a way we didn’t get the song / video all at once.

I think I really needed my first listens of this to be purely just the song on its own I think had we got the video at the same time I’d have got carried away and took too much focus on stuff like the outfits, the plot, dance routine etc.

Now when I see the video I’ll be familiar with the song. I have a good feeling about the video though.

This is GLORIOUS. The production is so fluid and airy, really refined compared to ARTPOP. The vocals OMFG THEY BOTH SOUND HEAVENLY. Lyrically, well I've been crying my eyes out for the past 10 minutes. So cathartic and so powerful when you think of the creative process behind it.

This is so good *.* some songs take me a few plays to get into but I knew this was great upon first listen! The production is a real highlight for me and it does have both 00's house and No Tears Left To Cry vibes to it. It's very euphoric but light and airy as well as groovy and it will sound great all summer long. Not intended to be shady but it's not worlds away from something Calvin Harris/Sigala/Jax Jones would produce (particularly in the verses) which I hope will bode well for the GP getting on board.

As some others have said, I would've liked a more developed bridge and perhaps a change in sound/instrumental break or an outro (a la Marry The Night) to develop the song a bit more like we would have seen on Born This Way. However I totally get this is supposed to be 'the hit single' from this era that will determine the album's success and it needs to be as Spotify and radio friendly as possible! Clocking in at 3 mins is a wise move for repeated plays and there's no part of the song that any of R1/R2/Capital/Heart/Kiss would cut out or be turned off by which is brilliant for its promotion! I'm sure we'll get some wackier moments in the album cuts.

Ariana also sound wonderful on this - her vocals elevate the song really well and I can't really think I would want anyone else in place of her that would suit better.

I think this has already overtaken Stupid Love in my affections - that song is still brilliant and serves a purpose of introducing the world back to pop Gaga in a very palatable format but this is the next level *.*

This is a BOP!!! Ariana works really well on it. She doesn't sound tacked on like Miley and Lana on that clown music, and she dowsn't dominatw like that clown music. Lady GaGa speaking over the top is her signature Scheise/ Bad Romance repetitive chanting made for 2020.

It's fun, brash, and euphoric, and sounds like early 00s dance like Miracle, with the big house production and uplifting lyrics. It's NOT throwaway like The Cure and doean't try to emulate anyone else, unlike The Cure. It is ostensibly GaGa. I'm glad she had a feature on it, like most Calvin songs, however, or it would have felt like it was missing something. It needs belting vocals for it to work, and so Ariana and Adele were the only options.

It might not be as good as Katy Perry's new song, oe up there with Gypsy or Edge, but what is?! This is like Scheise's sister sonf. That song should have been released as the first BTW single, so ROM will bring it justice!!

Stupid Love is middling pop, but this is a BIG BAD ASS BOP!!! Expect a no.3 in the UK. It is too pop for the USA, so expect a #17 or a #1 thanks to Ariana peak there.

I JUST missed the premiere, only saw the very last scene. So just waited till it was over to see the full version and yes, I do like it. I was hoping for more of a storyline video like Judas or Telephone, but it's still very very good. It does have the same vibe as Stupid Love, but a darker version, and I think they go very well together. Especially the last few scenes are stunning and how good do they both look!?

I've been listening to the song all day, the production is glorious and Ariana and Gaga's vocals compliment each other perfectly.

Also very glad that the horrific "rain, rain, go away..." 'leak' ended up being just a hoax!

Good fun video! I love the colour scheme, visuals and costumes in the video - definitely matches the future pop-punk feel we got from Stupid Love and Chromatica so far! I'm sure there's a metaphor somewhere about the daggers raining down on them and they are pulling them out and carrying on - i'm sure someone will get analysing the video shortly to help me out with that They both look like their having fun and enjoying being in each others company, the whole package exudes joy!

Is it just me or does Gaga look like Marina in the headshots of her? She does have the tendency to shape shift from video to video...

My laptop and internet had a major meltdown the second the countdown started, so I couldn't watch the premiere.. and I still haven't seen it! Watching now, but a *quick* glance at some comments has me so excited. I've not cried since this morning, we shall see what sort of effect the video has on me

I imagine that it's just about the ups and downs of being a popstar & how that whole world is "alien" to them to tart with (and being attacked and wounded with the lifestyles of fame)! Like, they're both in the same industry and doing the same thing but pretty much doing their own thing (hence why the camera spins from Gaga's "world" to Ari's "world") but then they're getting through it all together with this collab.

Also the hole where the dagger is on Gaga's leg, is it just me or is it shaped like a heart? (her tights) So maybe there's something with that too?

Yeah so I lasted ~90 seconds.. When Ariana and Gaga appeared together? Yeah that really hit me hard. I didn't know if they would with the craziness of travelling recently, but it seems like they managed to film it all just in time

What a superb video. My main positive is how perfectly it fits the song. I feel so joyous and empowered. Their friendship is the most beautiful thing ever and the pain they have both faced being literally washed away in these 3 minutes is gorgeous. The final few shots with their embracing were beautiful, but also the slight smiles they give to each other throughout. It's a real bond they have formed and this song has made it happen.

I am so so so in love with the entire package. I couldn't have asked for more from them. Do I prefer her story videos? Yes, but this could be her best non-story video to date?

Also: major YES to them channelling each others' looks. A true union of visions <3

SO song wise, I love - I think I've got over the idea that Lady Gaga is going to reinvent the wheel, this could be any Calvin Harris feature or any Dua Lipa song but that's not a bad thing because when Gaga does it, she does it right and she does it polished. And the middle 8 adds a necessary Gaga flavour, it reminds me of G.U.Y. Ariana sounds AMAZING aswell

I... am not wowed by the video but everyone is so I'm going to try? I love the scenes of friendship, they're adorable, but I found the whole thing (especially Ariana) a little bit "go girl, give us nothing", all of the choreography lacked energy But, aesthetic wise, I loved the colouring, the outfit choices, how the two looked very in sync and meshing their styles together. They work extremely well together, I just think we could've got something that matched the high energy of the track.

I'm not saying the video is BAD per se but....

Has Gaga forgotten her own M.O. is literally high-concept, long music videos with plot and drama?

This is two in a row now that are just some strung together dance scenes. Which is grand, but once again doesn't feel super modern. This is the official music video and most videos that artists release like that are a promo video or a side promotional tool, like Dua's workout video or recently, Hayley Williams's.

Even if she wanted to do that she could have had a bit of frame narrative like Born This Way. She's touted Chromatica as a concept album, honey, what's the concept? The videos are how you draw us in. So far it just seems to be a world where everyone bursts into dance every other second.

The video is nice and I'm so grateful that we got it seeing as if it was delayed at all it wouldn't have been able to be made. I also wasn't sure if they would even be together in it so glad to see they were both on the same set
I think I need to accept Gaga likely isn't going to make another video as iconic as Paparazzi/Telephone/Marry The Night anytime soon and appreciate that this is her best video in about 6 years (but GOD I crave another 10 minute long story video)

The biggest selling point for me about the video is that it exudes joy! There's nothing elaborate about it but it has an effortless feel-good factor which matches up to the song well for me. Plus the colour palette aesthetics are wonderful
