"New York" sounds like a title for a ballad I think, seeing that's where she grew up etc it's likely to be more personal and better suited to be done in a ballad-esque style.
But we'll have to wait and see, would be super if she could have a #1 selling ballad to showcase the variety that she does have to the public who don't know she has it. Her vocals on "Wonderful" really stand out for me to think that her first ballad could be immense so I really hope this one is in fact a ballad. .

Turns out that the "New York" rumour was false and the latest rumour according to http://www.twitter.com/ladygagadotnet is that the new single will be entitled "Animal" 
makes a lot of sense to me if the re-release is called "The Fame: Monster". This video http://www.viddler.com/player/4493e821/ makes the rumour a little suspicious/coincidental though. Nothing confirmed as of yet.

She's apparently also performing Paparazzi on SNL alongside the new single. Even more precious promo for Paparazzi in its crucial charting/selling period in the US at the moment ;o So excited for this and only 4 days to go, eek!

"Bad Romance" is the re-release single/5th (US) single overall according to billboard.
Gaga's year isn't over yet. On Nov. 24 she'll release "The Fame Monster," a double-disc repackaged version of her debut that will include several new songs, including her fifth single, "Bad Romance." And after that, who knows what she'll do-or wear-next.

It's AMAZING. The lyrics are genius, and so monstrous LOL. The Poker Face hook cleverly used and its just electronic bliss overall, overplaying it to death now. I'm just not so keen on her voice, it sounds a bit demo-ish so the final version is probably going maximize all the immense potential this has. It's also WAY too long but that'll all be fixed, looking forward to the final version and premiere tomorrow, ah!

Well it's 12:30am now and gagadaily on twitter just said 4 hours until SNL so until then we wont hear her perform it but god knows when we'll get the studio version - the finished one obviously.

The performances were amazing, she sounded amazing and she looked amazing. That skit with Madonna was hilarious, and when she wore that bubble outfit LMAO. I think I saw GaGa bump her head pretty hard during LoveGame though, hope she survived a concusion!
The way she keeps reinventing Paparazzi is brilliant and likewise with this performance it was so lusty and the word emphasis so smart. Ah.
In the end she only gave a tease of Bad Romance, the chorus only, so we still don't know what the finished version sounds like yet, so it probably isn't going to be added onto iTunes on Tuesday either. It'll be pretty dumb if she let the full version float around for so long, so it would be better to let it premiere/leak closer to its planned release date and TFM era beginning. Can't wait for that though.
I've got HQ mp3s of the performances if anyones interested. These were absolute highlights for me

That skit with Madonna was brilliant. I'm not quite sure what to make of Bad Romance though, it's already better than the likes of LoveGame (GaGa's worst single), though, so it should be fantastic once the finished version leaks, looking forward! Not addicted to any GaGa tracks at the moment, so this should fill the gap quite soon haha.

Am I the only one who felt embarrassed for Madonna after that skit? It seems as if Madonna tries to pair herself with the popstar who is always making the most waves at the moment. (Britney in late 2003, Britney again when she was under her comeback hype, and now Lady Gaga) Sad.
Anyways, this is the Gaga I fell in love with a year and a half ago. <3

i must agree gaga is better when she tones it down a bit, she actually looked pretty
she does wear some odd stuff but her music has always been AMAZING, great single choices etc. she performs so much more than other artists and is on tv lots, she is a great artist. i have not stoped loving her since i first heard 'poker face' on radio september last year. just dance did nothing for me but now i like the song. lovegame and paparazzi were great singles, only let down was releasing 'eh eh' here as third single. what a stupid move, lovegame would have gone #1 if eh eh didnt ruin the momentum

i think its meant to sound "drunk" or in that tone, they are probably using that sound as a basis for it to sound more raunchy and intimidating in the final version

The release was really messed up by them releasing it so early. Had it been released after the X Factor performance and the music video it would have most likely been #1 but it's still got time and it definitely will get a better peak but obviously not the one we were all hoping for. But that's because of X Factor, it's blowing up all over the world and I will really hit my head against the wall if BR does a LoveGame and gets a flop peak in the UK in comparison to its peaks outside the UK.

It has been confirmed she's part of the Michael Jackson tribute with Janet Jackson and a few others. Madonna most likely. I don't know if she is performing BR though, I doubt she won't. Most reasonable thing for her to do is do a Thriller-styled Bad Romance performance, I can't see her only being part of a tribute performance or covering an MJ song.
She's also just been confirmed to perform BR on Jay Leno. Hectic promo. More US-concentrated it seems.

Great almost faultless performance, wish they never cut out so much. I mean 2 choruses, 2 "ga ga ah ah ahh" parts and the "walk walk fashion baby" bridge is just a bit too much. Peter Kay sold 111k+ this week so even with x factor, it's gonna be a challenge for this to get #1 next week the way PK is selling.

People are allowed to put predictions and estimations. Just because you think that GaGa will be#1 doesn't mean everybody else should. Most people are speaking from past examples such as last week. If you look on iTunes Lady GaGa hasn't got that much of a lead on Rihanna and as Rihanna's sales will be decreasing this week and the fact that BR has already sold quite a bit it will lessen the chances of selling a big amount. Also using the percentage in drop of PK sales last week you can estimate what sales he will get.
Yes other people and I can be wrong yet so could you.
We won't know for sure until we get the mids tomorrow but that doesn't stop people from being able to estimate.
Whatever happens I'm sure BR will sell a lot over it's chart career.

She has got quite a big lead especially when you add the version at #35 to the one at #1.
Im sure at will, and it deserves to aswell because its one of the best songs of the year imo (along with Poker Face)

The reason is because the majority of people on this forum follow the charts. We know how it works, and there are very rarely any huge surprises. Trust us, we know what we're saying
You may want GaGa to be #1, but there's no denying that most knowledgeable predictors would predict against that happening...

It's looking promising but it's not a foregone conclusion. Peter Kay's Saturday physical sales will be HUGE, and the popularity bars on iTunes suggest that Gaga's lead is decreasing.
I think it's going to be really close, but Peter has a very good chance at a third week at the top.

It will be #1, just remember, there's only just over 11 hours of sales to go now until the chart lockdown, PK won't shift 10k within that short amount of time. GaGa has #1 in the bag.

I agree i think its highly likely lady gaga will stay number 1, peter kay will prbably close the sales gap but not enough to stop gaga getting her 3rd number 1.

Her lead on itunes has stayed pretty constant so she should do it. I'm now crossing my fingers that she'll hang on for number 2 next week, as I've got money on her doing it.
She doesn't have any more promo coming up, so it might be difficult, but here's hoping.

I vividly remember the first time I downloaded the leaked demo and listened to it, and vividly remember when it properly came out too and being sat on my bed when I first listened to it, incredible from the first listen and now easily one of my absolute favourite songs of all time. 5 years ago is crazy though :/ To think I was in year 8!

Gah, if only we could go back to these days when I was obsessed with Gaga and this song. I think it's aged incredibly well and I'll never not think it's her best song, I don't think. I wish she could find something, dig deep and make somethng as killer as this in the future; her ear for a great melody is still there, still a super and creative lyricist, it's just not as good.

Like pretty much the entire universe, I adored this when it was released... it just kinda hasn't aged that well for me. It's still good and I'd never turn it off but it saddens me a bit that I don't think of it in the 11/10 way that I used to.

It's powerhouse pop perfection that never ceases to amaze me. It's one of those songs I'm never tired of hearing and there are not many. It's up there with Like a Prayer when we talk about POP CLASSICS. I'm so lucky to witness that era!
I don't have any particular memories though, I don't even remember where and when I saw the video for the first time, most likely watching MTV. Just love it from the bottom of my heart!
