Lots of great stuff in your #201-250 section.

The two Bebe Rexha tracks are great. The album felt like it was trying to be the next 'Future Nostalgia' and it's not as good as that album but the sound is still funky. Snoop's verse is also quite fun on 'Satellite'.

I've become a huge fan of Leah Kate this year so it's nice to see 'Unbreakup' make your list. I think most people see her as a bit of a joke after she released some pretty bad TikTok chasing hits but as she's moved away from that with her new album, it's just really solid pop music.

'Exes' and 'All-American Bitch' are my other favourites so far.

And of course, it's good to see lots of Taylor as expected biggrin.gif

Not too many songs I know in that section! Giving Penthouse a listen as I used to like a couple of Kelsea songs - certainly a sad one, the vocals and guitar certainly add to the atmosphere of it.

Thanks Lewis <3 Yeah I really enjoyed Bebe's album when it came out but I haven't gone back to it too much sad.gif I do see that comparison!

Leah Kate is so so underrated! I think she has at least 2 songs in my top 200 and I loved her album! Yeah agreed I wish people took her more seriously cos she is serving bops!

Glad you're loving those other ones too <3

Thanks Pete <3 Yeah Penthouse is a beautiful song, glad you seemed to like it! I'd recommend Kelsea's entire EP, its up there with her best projects! - at least three songs from it will be in my top 200!

189. Ava Max - Christmas Without You - #06*

One of my fave Xmas songs each year atm, so so good.

188. Lana Del Rey - Say Yes To Heaven - #01
Sales: 601,100
Chart-Run: [01-08-12-19-28-45-55] (7wks)
It's great ofc and glad Lana finally got a chart hit again, but its nowhere near my fave of hers and it fell v. quickly here.

187. Taylor Swift - Superman (Taylor's Version) - #07
Sales: 605,700
Chart-Run: [7-21-38-71-97] (5wks)
Still the most underrated song on speak now, what a bop x

186. Gabby Barrett - Cowboy Back - #06
Sales: 609,700
Chart-Run: [6-18-26-43-41-43-53-61-82-x(x2)-67] (10wks)
Was underwhelmed by this at first but it really grew on me!

185. Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - Miracle - #05
Sales: 610,200
Chart-Run: [5-14-28-26-35-38-43-63-69-78-91] (11wks)
The weakest of their 3 collabs so far and I got bored quickly, but its a banger still

184. Taylor Swift - Haunted (Taylor's Version) - #6

Chart-Run: [11-19-23-39-53-58-64-74-87-96-x(x8)-73] (11wks)
Idina served a new album for the first time in 7yrs and Dramatic is a pop-dance BANGER, if Kylie released this y'all would be stanning like crazy. Poor Dramatic got stuck at Idina's favourite UK peak tho x

181. Lana Del Rey ft. Jon Batiste - Candy Necklace - #08
Sales: 621,700
Chart-Run: [8-19-27-39-46-62-53-65-75-82-94] (11wks)

Love how many Taylor tracks there are already cheeseblock.png and love all the Bebe, Tate & Ava too!

all-american bitch, Ice Cream Man, Kiss Me, You & I, The Show and Die 4 Me are my other favourites so far. Looking forward to seeing the rest <3

180. (160) Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You - #04*
Sales: 622,100
Chart-Run: [40-31-15-8-6-4-94] (7wks)
The queen of Xmas *.* STILL not bored of this somehow, it has a slight drop in sales & EOY position, but the same peak as 2022!

179. (281) Kygo ft. Dagny - Lonely Together - #14
Sales: 622,700
Chart-Run: [...-21-14-18-20-34-33-42-51-59-68-78-89] (12wks)
Another song that charted last year but didn't peak til the post-xmas rush, Lonely Together was an instant highlight from Kygo's most recent album and another smash for Dagny, a fun pop-dance song with great vocals and a nice beat <3

178. Miley Cyrus - River - #04
Sales: 623,300
Chart-Run: [4-9-24-29-40-48-52-71-72-85-94] (11wks)
It's catchy but I grew bored of this one v. quickly and didn't return to it much at all after the first couple weeks.

177. (197) Ava Max - Weapons - #22*
Sales: 624,500
Chart-Run: [...-23-24-30-31-23-22-37-49-56-65-74-84] (12wks)
Another 2022 repeat & a top 5 hit for Ava that year, Weapons held well this year with D&D's album release, I kinda didn't return to this after Q1 but listening to this now I forgot how much of a bop this is!! Top 3 on the album!

176. Maren Morris & Marcus Mumford - Look At Us Now (Honeycomb) - #20
Sales: 629,800
Chart-Run: [32-20-106-52-52-57-56-60-73-72-72-82] (12wks)
A cover of the main song from Daisy Jones & The Six, I preferred this to the OG version! Maren's vocals are a SLAY as always and I love this folk style from here, and it works well with Marcus. A great track.

175. Pink - When I Get There - #30
Sales: 630,000
Chart-Run: [37-42-45-61-57-74-71-76-82-88-x(x11)-30-x] (11wks)
Pink's here with the gorgeous When I Get There, a beautiful ballad about heaven that hit very close to home <3 Gorgeous vocals and beautiful lyrics, one of Pink's strongest lyrics in a long time.

174. (88) Mimi Webb - Ghost of You - #26*
Sales: 632,200
Chart-Run: [...-26-32-35-40-47-50-58-67-75-32-64-77-93] (13wks)
Another 2022 holdover, this one a #1 smash! Such a MAJOR bop from Mimi and one of my faves from her to-date, so goddamn catchy <3

173. Gracie Abrams - Where Do We Go Now? - #43
Sales: 632,800
Chart-Run: [85-71-76-73-75-81-43-63-72-81-89-82-86-89-96] (15wks)
Potentially the only non-top 40 hit in the top 200, Gracie's lead-up single to her album was a slow but constant grower on me, that I kept being drawn back to and is one of her best songs to-date. The song only managed 6 weeks top 75 but so many between 81-100!

172. Taylor Swift - Suburban Legends - #09
Sales: 633,600
Chart-Run: [14-9-21-42-68-92] (6wks)
First of the 5 1989TV vault songs (and spoiler, the other 4 will all be here x), Suburban Legends was my most hyped based on title but was the most underwhelming, its a bit filler-y but still a cute song! The song peaked in its 2nd week, before plummeting with the invasion of Xmas.

171. Becky Hill ft. Chase & Status - Disconnect - #12
Sales: 638,400
Chart-Run: [56-36-27-12-25-44-44-51-67-82-90-99] (12wks)
Chase & Status repetend for their sins of 'Baddadan' by contributing to Becky's banger. As usual, this continued Becky's curse of always going top 20 but missing the top 10 (I'm not sure if she's had one song top 10 as a lead artist here yet, but probs is on double figures in terms of top 20 oops!). Generic but this slaps.

Lots of great stuff here already Sam.

Ava, Taylor, P!nk, Becky and C&S, Calvin & Ellie and Stephen Sanchez are good, 'Cupid' is sweet and 'My Love All Mine' is fine too.

Love seeing Cher and Tate outside your top 200 too!

and lol of course 'Let It Go' still living on somewhere here 😆

170. Mimi Webb - Roles Reversed - #09
Sales: 638,800
Chart-Run: [9-18-12-26-41-58-59-66-69-75-90-96] (12wks)
Mimi appears again with the lovely Roles Reversed, which is v. Tate's 'You Broke Me First' coded but that's not a bad thing! It's also nice when a new artist acc releases a song pre-album that's over 3:30 these days!

169. (35) Taylor Swift - Vigilante Shit - #28*
Sales: 645,000
Chart-Run: [...-28-31-40-42-49-51-61-68-74-80-91-76-92-92] (14wks)
A top 40 EOY song from last year, one of my fave Midnights album cuts, the v. underrated Vigilante Shit makes the top 200 again. I love this style for Taylor and its such a bad bitch anthem.

168. Aly & AJ - With Love From - #59
Sales: 647,900
Chart-Run: [73-66-59-66-63-70-72-85-89-88-63-70-77-88-97] (15wks)
Nothing from their last album grabbed me as much of their previous one, but the titular track was my fave and enjoyed a lengthy run on my chart, despite its low peak! A nice spring-summery road-trip vibe song, and turns out there is another song that didn't make my top 40 here!

167. Birdy - Raincatchers - #02
Sales: 649,100
Chart-Run: [2-9-17-32-33-41-49-56-81-86-97] (11wks)
Birdy's comeback single was very atmospheric and a bop, but its not my fave thing she's ever done and it kinda fell v. quickly here.

166. Noa Kirel - Unicorn - #01
Sales: 650,600
Chart-Run: [1-11-19-24-34-43-66-73-x(x24)-91] (9wks)
Continuing the front loaded songs, Unicorn just about pipped 3 other Eurovision songs to the #1 spot, but fell v. quickly & just escapes being the lowest selling #1 due to a re-entry last week. It is a bop and I like the production + vocals + switch-ups.

165. (536) Ava Max - Dancing's Done - #16
Sales: 652,400
Chart-Run: [17-16-25-33-17-21-31-45-53-64-73-83] (12wks)
Another Ava bop, this was looking like it'd be a huge hit here after entering in the final week of 2022, but it just did solidly in the end as I wasn't feeling it as much as I thought I would. Another bop from Ava tho x

164. (26) David Guetta & Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue) - #25*
Sales: 653,200
Chart-Run: [...-25-28-34-38-45-48-57-64-67-74-79-85-x(x5)-92-94] (14wks)
Another 2022 holdover, this one a huge #1 smash! Still absolutely obsessed with this song, the sample works really well and Bebe's vocals are a slay, one of the best dance hits of the decade so far. Lowkey probs should be higher here this year cos its still on my current playlist!!

163. Nicky Youre - Found - #16
Sales: 654,500
Chart-Run: [39-16-23-21-26-30-35-51-54-68-82-92] (12wks)
After having one of the biggest hits of 2022 with 'Sunroof', Nicky's follow-ups didn't see the same level of success but Found was one of his biggest since then, its a huge bop and a fab soundtrack song (from The Magician's Elephant) and its just feel good - gives me Nick Jonas 'Home' vibes.

162. (9) Lizzo - 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) - #27*
Sales: 654,900
Chart-Run: [...-27-30-36-39-46-47-52-61-65-70-75-82-99-97] (14wks)
Another huge #1 from 2022 here, this is our first song that made the top 10 last year! (expect 3 more later on). Was still obsessed with this for the first half of 2023, tho stopped going back to it as much in the second half. Still an absolute major bop though its so so catchy and pure love, def Lizzo's best song <3

161. (449) Maisie Peters - Together This Christmas - #07
Sales: 655,200
Chart-Run: [11-12-11-10-12-7-99] (7wks)
With it actually available on non-Alexa streaming this year, Maisie's BOP from 'Your Christmas or Mine' makes it first significant impact on my charts, going top 10 for the first time and promises to be a new Xmas staple for me, its so catchy and festive I adore it <3

160. PinkPantheress ft. Ice Spice - Boy's a Liar: Pt. 2 - #24
Sales: 657,900
Chart-Run: [58-27-32-24-26-36-43-55-56-65-70-76-95] (13wks)
One of the biggest hits of the year up next, BALP2 wasn't quite as big here but I still loved it and it had a good chart-run here, such a bop and Pink + Ice work so well together!

159. Sabrina Carpenter - Lonesome - #23
Sales: 672,200
Chart-Run: [49-53-23-23-28-29-48-46-54-65-72-80-92] (13wks)
An album-cut from Sabrina's deluxe here, Lonesome is a gorgeous song and instantly became one of my faves from the album <3 It's quite country-ish and ofc we love songs talking about words we can't spell without 'me' xx An underrated gem <3

158. Jessie Buckley - Cabaret - #19
Sales: 673,300
Chart-Run: [86--37-19-25-21-40-35-50-58-76-82-98-x(x3)-149] (13wks)
Heading to the West End next for Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley's FANTASTIC rendition of Cabaret after starring in its revival. Absolutely obsessed with Jessie's version and it gives her another hit here after her fabulous songs from 'Wild Rose' (especially Glasgow), so so good <3

157. Miley Cyrus - Used To Be Young - #05
Sales: 693,300
Chart-Run: [5-12-24-33-41-47-53-61-69-85-95] (11wks)
Another quite frontloaded single for Miley this era, Used To Be Young is a really nice song but I wasn't compelled to return to it too much.

156. (39) Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, Kelly Clarkson - You're Drunk, Go Home - #22*
Sales: 695,900
Chart-Run: [...22-26-31-37-44-49-56-60-66-73-80-87-x(x2)-90-93-99] (15wks)
A collab between two of my fave artists of the decade so far + one of my faves of all time was always going to be a huge hit here, and YDGH delivered a yeehaw country BOP. After being a big #1 in 2022, the song held well throughout this year!

155. Nessa Barrett - American Jesus - #20
Sales: 700,700
Chart-Run: [29-37-22-21-20-29-36-55-59-141-88-88] (12wks)
Nessa scored by far the biggest hit of her career yet with the Lana-like 'American Jesus', it gives v. strong Born To Die (album) vibes and I adore it. Great production and one of my fave discoveries of the year.

154. Rita Ora - Don't Think Twice - #07
Sales: 705,600
Chart-Run: [7-67-13-12-21-27-37-52-59-63-81] (11wks)
Rita served this BOP, which I lowkey forget existed the second I stopped charting it, but still another bop from FIRO x Extended version the better one x

153. (355) Ward Thomas - Justice & Mercy - #25
Sales: 705,900
Chart-Run: [44-43-27-25-35-35-47-54-57-62-32-61-77-91] (14wks)
Ward Thomas finally served a great song again for the first time in years and were rewarded with their biggest hit here in AGES. Great storytelling and a pretty great country song!

152. Kelly Clarkson ft. Sheila E. - That's Right - #04
Sales: 706,400
Chart-Run: [4-13-76-30-35-44-52-64-78-84-92] (11wks)
That's Right was initially one of my absolute faves on 'Chemistry' but it got overtaken by a couple of the other album tracks in my affections so it fell quite quickly. I love its breezy summery vibe though and it was nice to hear something a bit different on the album, and a new sound for Kelly!

151. Olivia Rodrigo - Logical - #04
Sales: 708,800
Chart-Run: [4-15-24-31-38-45-54-71-85-96] (10wks)
First of quite a few GUTS album tracks to appear! Logical is one of the most underrated on the album, its a great Julia Michaels penned mid-tempo ballad and she suits this style so well, and I love the lyrics (2+2=5 queen at math), another great track from Olivia!

Listening to Raincatchers now, very atmospheric! Really showcases her voice, and the punchiness of the drums in the track help bring it together as well. A shame it didn't fully hit the note for you!

Thanks Pete <3 Glad you checked out Raincatchers and enjoyed it! Yeah I think Birdy's kinda at the Carrie Underwood/MARINA/Emeli Sande stage for me of artists who I used to adore in the early 2010s and will still check out all their new music, but I'm not as taken by them as I used to be!

150. Becky Hill ft. Lewis Thompson - Side Effects - #14
Sales: 713,800
Chart-Run: [14-15-17-23-28-34-52-56-140-85-85-93] (12wks)
Becky scored another solid top 20 hit that failed to go top 10 this year with Side Effects, another dance banger! I actually slightly prefer this one to 'Disconnect' and it deserved to be a bigger hit, a bop!

149. Ellie Goulding - Tastes Like You - #13
Sales: 719,900
Chart-Run: [13-21-24-36-31-40-45-54-61-73-79-99-97] (13wks)
I think this was a deluxe track, and who knows why considering it is way better than literally the rest of the album!!! Ellie's best in ages and I think this would've been one of my fave hits of the year if it came out a few years ago. Just so euphoric, its reminds me of a poppier more up-tempo 'Still Falling For You'.

148. Renee Rapp - Messy - #01
Sales: 720,300
Chart-Run: [2-1-6-23-53-16] (6wks)
One of the most recent #1's and the first of many Renee songs in this rundown! Messy was my instant fave of the deluxe tracks from Snow Angel, another MAJOR bop and (iirc) another Ryan Tedder written or produced bop from this year. Its so so good, I love it lyrically and Renee is a star, a feel good MESSY anthem.

147. Taylor Swift ft. Fall Out Boy - Electric Touch - #11
Sales: 726,900
Chart-Run: [24-11-17-23-38-49-58-66-68-87] (10wks)
Instantly thought this would be my least fave of the Speak Now TV tracks when announced due to that horrible feature, but this was surprisingly such a major bop and Foolish One exists x This was a great 2010-ish pop-rock bop and even the FOB feature worked, that chorus is so fun and rock-n-roll, I really love it <3 Got v. unlucky to just miss a top 10 peak here!

146. Maisie Peters - Therapy - #15
Sales: 727,300
Chart-Run: [15-19-87-45-42-43-44-52-60-60-56-69-96] (13wks)
Another album track, this time from Maisie Peters! Therapy was another instant favourite and held on very well for an album track! Just a great pop tune, catchy production, fun lyrics & a great vocal. One of my faves from Maisie and such an underrated one <3

145. Kelsea Ballerini - Mountain With A View - #10
Sales: 733,000
Chart-Run: [66-18-10-18-23-33-50-48-53-56-59-79-82-89] (14wks)
The album tracks continue! MWAV was a great intro to Kelsea's EP, introducing the themes that Kelsea is gonna tackle so good and the melody is beautiful, with many poignant and hard-hitting lyrics. It really set the tone for the EP successfully and its another mellow country triumph from Kelsea.

144. Maisie Peters - Coming of Age - #13
Sales: 734,400
Chart-Run: [13-18-86-50-46-51-43-48-57-61-57-71-97] (11wks)
ANOTHER album track, this time from Maisie again! And I'm not surprised this basically ends up next to Therapy as both had pretty much identical chart-runs where they were always only a few places apart from each other! This was a great start to Maisie's album (after the extended intro), it took a few days to fully hit me but once it did I became obsessed and it was one of the highest charting album tracks on release! Just more fun bouncy euphoric pop.

143. Freya Ridings - Can I Jump? - #08
Sales: 744,400
Chart-Run: [25-22-22-29-30-8-13-30-42-52-63-87] (12wks)
And let's continue with the album tracks!! Tho this one was at least a promo-single. Freya finally returned this year and Can I Jump was a fun positive anthem. Its not my fave from the album (I lowkey prefer album tracks like 'Bite Me' and 'Blood Orange' which missed my top 250), but its still another great uptempo moment from Freya!

142. Lauren Spencer Smith ft. GAYLE & Em Beihold - Fantasy - #05
Sales: 745,500
Chart-Run: [5-7-22-22-34-41-48-54-65-71-98-98] (12wks)
Three of my fave recent basically one-hit wonder flops teaming up x This was always going to be a hit here! Fantasy is a great collaboration and allows all three of them to shine, they all delivered *.* Its nothing groundbreaking but this deserved better, and all three artists deserve more chart success than they get! A cute early year hit for me x

141. Rita Ora - You Only Love Me - #04
Sales: 747,600
Chart-Run: [4-9-10-20-28-34-44-53-68-74-81-84-90] (13wks)
And Rita finally released her next album with this serving at its lead single. It was typical good fun Rita, a nice bop with a drop sounding straight out of 2016. I did enjoy bopping and listening to this, but it was such an obvs flop as a lead single - should've been Praising You (which idk how that bombed as badly as it did) or Waiting For You (which won't show up here but I rly love and is a summer anthem). Still another solid song to add to Rita's discography x

'Unicorn' was my favourite track in Eurovision this year. Noa provided some real excitement with her performance but I haven't gone back to the track for quite a while.

'Vigilante Shit' and 'Suburban Legends' have been my favourite Taylor tracks from the last few secions.

I'm especially loving the entries for Maisie Peters. She's definitely been my favourite artist over the past year or so.

Yeah Unicorn was up there for me too! It was my fave on the night but think I slightly preferred 2 other songs, my top 4 were all very close this year! Yeah her performance was fab but same I barely listened to it for most the year until it popped up on my Spotify wrapped! Glad to see the Taylor and Maisie love and yasss to a fellow Maisie stan, she has been serving this year *.*

140. Kenya Grace - Strangers - #14
Sales: 750,800
Chart-Run: [73-79-53-24-17-14-19-41-42-48-61-73-90] (13wks)
Kicking off this section is a huge chart hit and breakthrough for Kenya, this was instantly catchy and I thought about sending it to BJSC when I heard it on NMF, but obvs it took off way too quickly! Just a great dance-pop tune, it missed the top 10 here but had a solid top 100 run!

139. Rob Grant ft. Lana Del Rey - Lost At Sea - #07
Sales: 756,400
Chart-Run: [7-7-12-23-26-103-57-55-60-68-80-99] (12wks)
The first of the two Lana + her dad tracks to appear here, both far surpassed my expectations and just showed how much magic Lana can bring to anything! This unsurprisingly debuted high but held up way better than I expected it to, even managing two weeks top 10! A beautiful little song with gorgeous gentle vocals, melody and piano.

138. Leony - Holding On - #10
Sales: 761,000
Chart-Run: [14-10-12-20-28-43-43-55-64-68-72-85-94] (13wks)
Leony continues to SERVE absolute bops, honestly deserves MPG status (or at least Ava Max levels of pop queen success). Holding On was one of my instant faves from her albums, its got that catchy 2000s pop feel to it and the dance beat over it works really well! An underrated bop. (and get into Remedy which was v. high up for me in 2022!)

137. Taylor Swift - Eyes Open (Taylor's Version) - #02
Sales: 763,100
Chart-Run: [2-10-20-30-40-50-78-81-90-100] (10wks)
This has never been my fave Taylor track but it hit a lot more with TV to the point that I now love it, its so atmospheric and I love this rockier side that Taylor serves here. It nearly went all the way to the top, but as always it was blocked by the far superior The Hunger Games soundtrack song, which has always overshadowed it x Still another great moment and a song where the TV is an improvement over the original! Also this loved hitting positions ending in 0 in its chart-run, hitting seven of them within its 10 week run!

136. Sabrina Carpenter - Feather - #08
Sales: 766,100
Chart-Run: [24-49-55-64-57-58-83-87-91-x(x27)-37-43-63-87-8] (14wks)
A song that will be A LOT higher next year, already reaching a new peak of #2 in 2024 so far! I really loved this as an album track, an instant bop, but bad timing of release meant I never returned to it as much as I wanted to! So thankfully the music video gave me the chance to give this the attention it deserved (and what an ICONIC video, a church carpenter indeed! So many iconic shots, potential best video of 2023 x). This fully clicked with me and is probs top 5 Sabrina songs for me atm so glad to see it smashing irl too! Just an absolute perfect 00s vibes pop BOP.
(also fun this + Eyes Open entered the charts in the same week + Holding On week after!)

135. (143) Rihanna - Lift Me Up - #03
Sales: 768,800
Chart-Run: [...-19-20-3-14-32-37-46-53-60-66-43-74-90-96] (14wks)
Onto a holdover now, which actually reached a new peak in 2023 (I thought it was due to the Oscar performance but dates don't work out at all, must've been just cos of how competitive late 2022 was with Midnights/Xmas songs!). Not my fave RiRi song but its a gorgeous ballad (and tbh ballad RiRi>>'modern' RiRi) and it packs a punch.

134. Jorja Smith - Little Things - #29
Sales: 772,900
Chart-Run: [53-49-47-50-40-47-50-127-77-74-82-83-92-x(x7)-29-92] (15wks)
A huge BOP and probs the best thing Jorja has done to-date! This had a long chart-run but struggled to get a great peak due to tough competition! Still such a bop (original version only, so much better than that mash-up) that reached a new peak on album release, its so catchy and great vibes <3

133. Freya Ridings - Rise - #08
Sales: 766,300
Chart-Run: [8-58-28-25-29-36-43-53-55-55-72-98-x(x13)-22] (12wks)
After serving one of the albums of the year, Freya had this absolute ANTHEM of a bop come out for the soundtrack of that Ruby Gilman Teenage Kraken dreamworks movie! Rise is so anthemic and would be top-half on 'Blood Orange', such a fun melody and I love Freya's vocals on this track. Its a shame this song went so under the radar! And the fab live version allowed this to re-enter quite high at the end of the year!

132. Maisie Peters - Two Weeks Ago - #10
Sales: 779,700
Chart-Run: [12-10-25-31-20-34-107-58-57-61-67-79-95] (13wks)
More Maisie now! (tho I do prefer the two album tracks in the previous section, this one had the advantage of being a pre-album release!). Two Weeks Ago is a lovely little ballad, its very simple but it packs a punch and its another gorgeous song in Maisie's discography <3 Beautiful lyrics too

131. Paramore - Big Man, Little Dignity - #21
Sales: 780,300
Chart-Run: [21-25-31-36-48-46-51-53-55-72-68-73-76-78-84-99] (16wks)
And another album track to finish us off! BMLD very quickly became my album track highlight of Paramore's latest album, Hayley absolutely slayed on the lyrics & vocals, the production is great and I love the simmering rage throughout the track!! Up there with my fave Paramore tracks, such a fab tune <3

Posted by: Roba. 8th January 2024, 12:47 PM

'Dancing's Done' is such a bop as is Lizzo's. 'boys a liar' took a few listens to click for me but it was never a huge fave, still good though. 'Unicorn' shone on the night but was not a fave at Eurovision necessarily for me. Was good to see Noa get a top 3 finish though and the BJSC track of hers from 2022 is still a bop.

'Little Things' is decent too but again not a huge fan haha!

'Strangers' of course is lush but I actually briefly got a little bored of it until I came back to loving again haha. Unexpected #1 for her though. Didn't see that coming exactly.

Elsewhere I admit to not hearing some of the Taylor songs here oops and 'Vigilante Shit' wasn't a highlight from Midnights for me kink.gif still expect some fab Taylor tracks to be on the way!

Posted by: jimwatts 8th January 2024, 09:00 PM

'Holding On' is awesomely catchy and one of my faves of the year too, kind of wish I'd sent it to the current PFSC!

Sales: 629,800
Chart-Run: [32-20-106-52-52-57-56-60-73-72-72-82] (12wks)
A cover of the main song from Daisy Jones & The Six, I preferred this to the OG version! Maren's vocals are a SLAY as always and I love this folk style from here, and it works well with Marcus. A great track.
WHAT I had no idea this cover existed DeadBanana.gif I will definitely be giving that a listen!!

'Where Do We Go Now' was the song I discovered Gracie Abrams with, and the song that made me a fan so I'm glad to see it here!

'Used To Be Young' was the opposite of frontloaded for me laugh.gif made no impression on me at all at first then suddenly clicked after several listens. I'll be hoping 'Jaded' appears somewhere, my other fave of hers from last year!
