I'm glad 'Dance The Night' has just about made it. It works so perfectly in Barbie. 'Single Soon' and 'Red Flags' are both great too,
I'm not usually a fan of Miley but I thought 'River' was pretty fun and deserved more!
Hey Lunar just catching up on everything now!
Great to see Ariana sneaking into your top 10 most listened artists of 2023 despite not releasing anything new as a lead artist *.* thankfully this year looks far more exciting to be a fan, with both her 7th album on the way and the first Wicked movie being released, bring it on elsewhere I enjoyed the output of Taylor, Olivia, Tate, RAYE and Miley too!

'think later' was one of my favourite album tracks from Tate too! Shall be interesting to see what she pushes as a future single.
'Dance The Night' grew on me so much after watching Barbie, the accompanying scene was fun. Excited for more from Dua this year after how fab 'Houdini' is!

43: P!NK - TRUSTFALL
42: Leigh-Anne - Don’t Say Love
41: Becky Hill feat. Chase & Status - Disconnect
40: Anne-Marie - TRAINWRECK
Just making the top 50 is an absolutely stunning ballad from my top album of the year by Olivia Rodrigo. It’s a track that was towards at the bottom of my ranking when I first heard the album, but I adore it now! Another stunning song in this section is “The Wedding Song”, my highlight from Renee Rapp’s 2023 project Snow Angel. One of the biggest songs of the year from Miley Cyrus, “Flowers”, also just about made my top 50 - I think it would have been even higher had it not been a little overplayed for me.
TRUSTFALL was the single that made me want to check out P!nk’s 2023 album of the same name - SUCH a feel good bop, and Leigh-Anne’s debut single “Don’t Say Love”, my favourite of her two releases this year is another underrated bop that definitely deserved better in the charts in my opinion *.* Becky Hill’s ‘Disconnect’ is one of my favourite singles from her, instant love with that one for me!
Also in this section are some highlights from some of my top albums of the year by Anne-Marie, Mae Muller & Maisie Peters
Nice to see "Coming Of Age", "Flowers", "The Band And I", "TRUSTFALL", "Don't Say Love" and my favourite of the latest selection "Disconnect" reaching the top 50.
Songs: 39-30
39: Ava Max - Cold As Ice

34: Olivia Rodrigo - vampire
33: Tate McRae - calgary
32: Olivia Rodrigo - ballad of a homeschooled girl
31: Tate McRae - grave
30: Tate McRae - we’re not alike
This section is (almost) the section of the album track stunning slower moments from Tate McRae, RAYE & Anne-Marie’s 2023 albums and some bops from Tate, Olivia & Maisie’s too. The one single in this section ‘vampire’ was a fab choice for the lead for GUTS and did a great job at getting me so excited for that record *.*
Great to see 'ballad of a homeschooled girl' so high, it's my favourite from Olivia's album and she does the rock sound well!
29-21
29: Bebe Rexha feat. Snoop Dogg - Satellite
28: Olivia Rodrigo - the grudge
27: Mae Muller - Nervous (In A Good Way)
26: Loreen - Tattoo
25: Mimi Webb - Both Of Us
24: Tate McRae - run for the hills
23: Olivia Rodrigo - all-american bitch
22: Anne-Marie - HAUNT YOU
21: Maisie Peters - Lost The Breakup
Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg teaming up on "Satellite" is such pure fun – the perfect representation of Bebe's 2023 album "Bebe." Olivia Rodrigo's "the grudge" and "all-american bitch" showcase both sides of the GUTS album, with the former being a powerful ballad with stunning lyrics and the latter delivering the perfect punk rock bop *.*
Mae Muller's "Nervous (In A Good Way)" is a standout from her “Sorry I’m Late" album, and Loreen's "Tattoo" was a huge reason why I watched Eurovision this year! Anne-Marie’s punk rock track “HAUNT YOU’, Mimi Webb's "Both Of Us" and Tate McRae's "run for the hills" are total bops that grew on me so much and I still can't get enough of them, and Maisie Peters' "Lost The Breakup" is just iconic - got me very excited for the album, so the perfect choice for a single imo! <3
20: RAYE - Oscar Winning Tears
Album track from “My 21st Century Blues”
Lyric: "the story is about to begin"
My favourite album track from RAYE's 'My 21st Century Blues' just makes the top 20. The perfect opener to a stunning album!
19: Ava Max - Sleepwalker
Album track from “Diamonds & Dancefloors”
Lyric: "dream of me wherever you go"
My highlight from another of my top albums of the year, this time from Ava Max. This song is such a bop and showcases exactly what Ava Max does best, pure pop fun *.*
18: Ellie Goulding - By The End Of The Night
Album track from “Diamonds & Dancefloors”
Lyric: "Is it love? Call it chemical
From one absolute bop to the next, the single from Ellie Goulding's "Higher Than Heaven" is SUCH a fun track. Wish more of the album sounded like this <3
17: Maisie Peters - Wendy
Album track from “The Good Witch”
Lyric: "we could live off of magic and maybes
An absolutely stunning album track from Maisie Peter's The Good Witch. The storytelling & lyrics in this song are just beautiful
16: Tate McRae - guilty conscience
Album track from “THINK LATER”

My highlight from THINK LATER - an absolute bop that has made my top 20 despite only being released in December! <3

Lead single from DL3
Lyric: "prove you've got the right to please me"
What a BOP! So excited for what Dua has to bring this year after this, the perfect lead single choice *.*
14: Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam
Lead single from Tension
Lyric: "padam, padam"
This absolute bop had me hooked from the very first listen. What a smash, deserved all the success
13: Taylor Swift - Hits Different
Bonus track from "Midnights (3am Edition)"
Lyric: "argumentative, antithetical dream girl"
A bonus track from Midnights that SO deserved a place on the album which was released at the beginning of the year! Love that it worked out to be a Taylor song at her lucky number #13!
12: Taylor Swift - Say Don't Go (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)
Album track from "1989 (Taylor's Version)"
Lyric: "i'm trying to see the cards that you won't show"
Taylor again! This time with a stunning vault track from 1989 Taylor's Version that just missed out on my top 10. It was my favourite vault track for a while but has been recently *just about* overtaken.
11: Taylor Swift - Castles Crumbling (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)
Album track from “Speak Now (Taylor's Version)"
Lyric: “smoke billows from my ships in the harbor"
Aaaand that makes three in a row for my queen of 2023!! Speak Now TV is home to my favourite set of vault tracks, as shown by the fact that this is the first of 3 in my top 15. Castles Crumbling is an absolutely stunning song, and Taylor & Hayley’s voices just fit *perfectly* together on it <3
10: Olivia Rodrigo - making the bed
Album track from “GUTS”
Lyric: “i’m playing the victim so well in my head, but it's me who's been making the bed"
What a beautiful song this is <3 the lyrics are the highlight of the song and I relate to them so much
9: Taylor Swift - Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)
Single from “1989 (Taylor's Version)”
Lyric: “you search in every model's bed for something greater"
The single from Taylor's latest re-recording is one that has grown on me MASSIVELY since it came out. The perfect closing track, and that BRIDGE
8: Olivia Rodrigo - love is embarrassing
Album track from “GUTS”
Lyric: “watch as I crucify myself, for some weird second string loser who's not worth mentioning"
The second GUTS track in the top 10! Olivia really excels at the punk / rock sound - ‘love is embarrassing’ is a total bop and my highlight from the album <3
7: Anne-Marie feat. Shania Twain - UNHEALTHY
Single from "UNHEALTHY"
Lyric: “when they try to stop me, just know nobody can"
A country pop bop collaboration I definitely didn't see coming but love nonetheless! This was my most played song of 2023 and I'm still not tired of it
6: Mimi Webb - Freezing
Single from “Amelia”
Lyric: “i’ve shut that door and swallowed the keys"
The sister song to House On Fire (a top 10 from last year’s EOY) and my favourite song from Mimi Webb’s debut album. :bop:
5: Anne-Marie feat. Khalid - YOU & I
Single from “UNHEALTHY”
Lyric: “the “dark days are better when we’re together
Loved this song right from the moment I heard it at her album launch show in Kingston. Their voices go so well together and it’s just stunning <3
4: Taylor Swift feat. Fall Out Boy - Electric Touch (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)
Album track from “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”
Lyric: "this could either break my heart or bring it back to life"
Another song which was love at first listen. Didn’t expect to like it when the tracklist was announced but WHAT a bop!
3: Taylor Swift - You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)
Album Track from “Midnights (Late Night Edition)”
Lyric: “i wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser
A heartbreaking but beautiful song which delivers one of Taylor’s BEST bridges ever. I’ve been obsessed with this ever since I listened to it on a Google Drive link back in May, but so glad it’s finally on streaming now!
2: Griff - Vertigo
Single
Lyric: “said don't look down and then you do, you put your past on me and you
A song that I was obsessed with ever since she started teasing it on TikTok, and I’m still not tired of it. The lyrics, the bridge, it’s just a beautiful song imo imo and I can’t wait to see what Griff can deliver this year!
1: Taylor Swift - I Can See You(Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)
Single from “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”
Lyric: wait 'til you see half the things that haven't happened yet
And we have our number 1. The best song from my favourite set of vault tracks, I Can See You is a song I was NOT expecting to hear on Speak Now but one that has grown into a discography highlight of Taylor's for me, and my favourite song of 2023!
