BuzzJack Music Forum _ Taylor Swift _ TTPD rollout predictions

Posted by: conorw 27th April 2024, 10:16 PM

so, weve had this masterpiece for a week now. how do we think the rollout will go?!

i reckon we might get another 2 singles, same as we did for midnights, and i reckon i can do it with a broken heart will be one of them, and the mv will be a tour one same as the new romantics video! i am seeing people speculate that reptv could be announced in august with various 'evidence' to back it up, and as excited as i am i do hope this album can have a proper rollout with seeral singles pushed and music videos without being overshadowed, though i do repsect that with tour she probably wont have much time to film videos! i also expect we'll eventually have a physical release for the anthology version later this year!

what do you guys think is to come from this era!

I can do it with a broken heart would make sense for the next single given it's commercial appeal / popularity.

I'd love to see Who's afraid of little old me or the smallest man who ever loved turned into singles / given a video but doubt that will happen.

I think we'll definitely get the second part in physical format which will give the album another boost one week.

The pessimist In me though wonders if we won't get much more though.

I am hoping I can do it with a broken heart and the tortured poets department are singles.

A part 2 single when that albums physicals are released seems like a decent possibility

I can do it with a broken heart, who is afraid of little old me and the tortured poets department. If Taylor brings out a physical copy of the 2nd album she might bring out those songs as singles.
If the 2nd album has a physical I doubt we will be getting reputation tv this year.

I think I can do it with a broken heart could be a “tour single” and yet the tour video like New Romantics did. Could also see down bad being a single a la lavender haze as it’s seeming to be one of the most popular tracks and Taylor nation posted a video of Taylor in a new outfit to the song… possible hint at a mv?

I wouldn't mind Down Bad as a single with a video. I actually quite like it though it wouldn't be my first choice.

I'd like to have Down Bad and My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys as singles/videos.

Down Bad or ICDIWABH seem like the most obvious choices

Do we think any single will have a feature like Karma w Ice Spice? Which song would benefit from another (likely rapping) artist added in?

I think the 2 obvious Down Bad and ICDIWABH but they probably already peaked, LH didn't do much when it was given single treatment

That's the problem Taylor has been experiencing since she stopped doing pre-album singles. It's hard to breathe life back into a song when it's already been pulling strong streaming numbers for a couple month.

i agree, im not a fan of no lead singles. i do love going into an album not knowing what its going to sound like at all so being completly surprised when i hear it, but i miss lead singles.

i do think she didnt for this as a lot of the hype/lead up to it and even the promo seemed to imply it was more of a breakup record about joe, and sure theres enough songs about him, but more of them seem to be about matty and i feel like that was a curveball that no one was expecting going into it and a single could've stopped that excitement/confusion as to who the record is about

true about lavender haze, but it did get a couple more weeks in the top 40 after single push that it probably wouldnt have had without the push. i expect id they do down bad as a single that'll be the same, itll have a steady descent before acr and then if its a single itll spend a few more weeks in the top 40!

i could see guilty as sin as a single too tbh, with a male singer collab?

I think if she does push something as a single something from the second half probably has the best chance of repeaking as less people seem to be listening to that half , so high school is creeping up

This makes sense for sure. I think there's a number of songs in part two which could take off.
