LOL jark! They only have around 600 tickets to sell (i worked it out, i know - how sad!) so a new date could be added very soon indeed.

Posted by: coolnav 17th January 2008, 06:05 PM

Oh and apparently over on the official ga forum tickets for a London Wembley date (yes, not 02) go on sale tommorow morning.

I really cant get over how well its selling, it can only improve sales on the album and further incentive to stick together.

I nearl wet myself then thinking it was Wembley stadium laugh.gif until I remembered Wembley arena still exists laugh.gif

I think Billiam and The Saturdays are confirmed support acts now. I wonder if there will be 3 like last year.

Cheryl got loads of support and cheers throughout the show, they were so excellent. wish it was longer though. they were 1000x better than the Spice Girls and thats a huge compliment from me haha! Amazing indeed wub.gif

Poor Spices, have just been knocked down a peg or ten again kink.gif by me too. The difference between a tour being done purely for money, and a tour for the fans wub.gif

I loved the Saturdays aswel, Billiam were alright, can't remember the 2nd blokes name but he was rather good too.

Posted by: Matt Aloud 27th May 2008, 11:16 AM

I keep saying this every year, but the support acts get better each year laugh.gif All of them this year were rather good, especially The Saturdays wub.gif (probably because we were brainwashed all night with them, I am almost compelled to text SATURDAYS to whatever number now laugh.gif). Still can't get used to Frankie with short hair laugh.gif. From what a lot of other people had said I was dreading Billiam laugh.gif but they were alright ohmy.gif I almost thought the Saturdays were Luigi at first as I forgot all about him being a support act. It took me ages to work out why I thought they had a bloke with them rotf.gif

I still think best support act ever (on GA tours) belongs to Rogue Traders last year though wub.gif

And seeing Cheryl after the show running around outside wub.gif laugh.gif She missed my hand cry.gif

Roll on Saturday cheer.gif

Posted by: Lukuzz 27th May 2008, 03:28 PM

Yeah they were amazing at the MEN, cant wait to go again tonight!!

Posted by: Simon. 2nd June 2008, 10:26 AM

I thought Billiam were were just ok tacky boyband really they'll never be big.

Luigi Masi just has no stage presence really he looked gay at MEN last night aswell lol I like his song "The Look" though laugh.gif

The Saturdays were awesome wub.gif we loved them, the first song was great and "If This Is Love" was super wub.gif who says super anymore well anyway they was great. Does anyone know the first song the Saturdays performed?

Posted by: Lukuzz 2nd June 2008, 10:34 AM

they performed -
'Up'
'Keep Her'
'Issues'
'If This Is Love'

theres some decent videos on youtube of them biggrin.gif

Posted by: Simon. 2nd June 2008, 10:37 AM

Up was really good I loved it wub.gif

The Black Jacks performance was awesome wub.gif

Posted by: Matt Aloud 2nd June 2008, 10:45 AM

I was like a little spring lamb at the MEN kink.gif wub.gif

The tour seems to have flown by after taking months to arrive after buying the tickets laugh.gif

And I finally succumb to The Saturdays brainwashing and texted the number to preorder the single heehee.gif wub.gif

Posted by: coolnav 2nd June 2008, 11:09 AM

The Saturdays both nights were amazing. 'Up' 'Issues' and 'If This Is Love' all have top 10 written over them with good promotion.

'Blackjacks' 'Call The Shots' and 'Jump' from GA were incredible.

oooh the memories wub.gif

Ashley Cole was there on Saturday apparently, and there was a car with darkened windows that sped out with photographers chasing it for all of 5 yards laugh.gif. Some wazzocks decided to boo and name call and blow any chance of one of the Girls coming out after the show dry.gif

Listening to someone's recording now from Brighton wub.gif

that's why I prefer the flashing batons, they last longer laugh.gif

My Greatest Hits tour one still flashes away.

Last time I bought a glow stick thing it leaked all over me after it cracked. On the plus my hands did glow in the dark for a while w00t.gif

Anyhoo, with the arena leg all over cry.gif (roll on DVD wub.gif) it's time to focus on the summer dates and wonder how different they'll be and if we'll hear anything new.

Added Beamish Hall to the summer dates, shame I can't make it sad.gif

The list is endless!

Just thought I'd extend the list kink.gif

I'm so trooping around Edinburgh in my tour t-shirt, and all my laminates, and disco baton biggrin.gif

Posted by: coolnav 24th July 2008, 01:47 PM

Anyone going to the summer dates? I think im going to Dolfold Park on 3rd August. Cant wait to see the girls the most but The Saturdays and Simon Webbe should be good too.

Posted by: Matt Aloud 25th July 2008, 07:23 AM

I'm setting off for Edinburgh in about an hour w00t.gif

It was great biggrin.gif Arenas are strong but Edinburgh was crazy biggrin.gif The stands were bouncing during Jump literally laugh.gif The spotlights from the back were bouncing up and down laugh.gif T'was only an hour and 10 minute snippet of the tour but that didn't matter to me biggrin.gif I got my Girl Overboard moment wub.gif They kept Push It in the setlist too. And poor Fling, Black Jacks, and Control of The Knife didn't make it to the Castle. AN amazing backdrop too, from the back stand, you could see out of the corners into the city, and the Castle was all lit up, with flames up at the top too.

Support was Natalia, Leo (from The Streets ohmy.gif), and The Saturdays heart.gif They had quite a few problems with The Saturdays mics. Seemed to get the worst of the problems out of the way for the Girls though biggrin.gif I took a few photos from my near back seat, and a hilarious 3 minute video of the One O'Clock gun at the castle earlier in the day. I think I and everyone else missed it, when we jumped out of our skin rotf.gif I'll try and get them uploaded tomorrow biggrin.gif

Might be able to make it to Harewood House now biggrin.gif if I can get the day off

Posted by: coolnav 27th July 2008, 09:45 PM

OMG i want Fling and Blackjacks back sad.gif

Posted by: BJBB_Bertie 27th July 2008, 10:07 PM

Wow thanks for sharing it with us Matt!

How they can get rid of 3 of the best songs on TU is beyond me lol!

Posted by: Matt Aloud 28th July 2008, 06:54 PM

I sooo want to learn the CLose To Love routine kink.gif

Posted by: Matt Aloud 6th August 2008, 07:00 PM

I'm about 99% likely to be going to Harewood House heart.gif for my final Tangled Up session of the year cry.gif laugh.gif

Posted by: Matt Aloud 30th August 2008, 02:31 PM

a few pics from last night wub.gif (pardon my camera blur laugh.gif it likes to take ages to actually take the photo if you zoom a tiny bit dry.gif)

Black Jacks, and Control Of The Knife returned along with the revolving stage that were missing from Edinburgh. Still no Fling though sad.gif Huge great atmosphere which would have deafened everyone if it had an arena roof over the top laugh.gif There were 4 support acts ohmy.gif laugh.gif, Jesse, Natalia, The Saturdays, and Simon Webbe. There was a firework display after the show too, just as well as it took 40 minutes to get out of a field as all the buses, other cars, taxis were pushing their way into the queue. If they didn't push in the first place, we'd have all got out quicker dry.gif

A couple of videos I managed even if my camera's microphone was far tooo close to the speakers laugh.gif

Lucky you, silly Amazon won't send it before Monday mad.gif
So I could have to wait a whole week before watching it!

Posted by: Bert 29th October 2008, 04:12 PM

Got it this morning and I've already watched it kink.gif

It got me very emotional, so many great memories from the tour! I still think it was an amazing tour really, so I think it looks better when you are actually there laugh.gif
The sound is sometimes not that good on the DVD (I mean the music is so loud and the voices a bit too low), but gosh it looked sensationnal! Great work on the DVD!

Oh and the 20mins documentary was well funny and enjoyable laugh.gif Bless Cheryl in the tour bus hehe!

Btw, it should be a suresafe #1 music dvd for the girls! It is 30 in the overall DVD chart on amazon, and the closest rival (ie music dvd) is about #240 laugh.gif And its been like that all week, so I guess the sales are great! happy.gif

Posted by: Gboy 30th October 2008, 05:21 PM

The documentary and tour were great overall but didnt like 'Somethin Kinda Ooooh' performance, could barely hear them sing!!

For the new tour, do you guys reckon fans will be given the oppertunity to buy tickets before hand if you are registered on the website?

Jump from this tour has been remastered into 4K! I wonder if the entire tour will be uploaded, or just the singles?

Posted by: JosephBoone 10th February 2024, 08:24 PM

Exciting, I hope it all gets remastered and uploaded!
