Jax Jones
Jax Jones is a London-based DJ and producer whose sunny, uplifting house tracks incorporate a wide range of musical influences. Born Timucin Fabian Kwong Wah Aluo in 1987, he grew up listening to rap, gospel, Afro-beat, and numerous other genres, and began making beats as a teenager, initially as a hip-hop producer. He got into house music after meeting Duke Dumont, and the two collaborated on the song "I Got U," which became an immediate hit when it was released in early 2014, topping the U.K. singles chart. Jones released his debut single, "Yeah Yeah Yeah," in 2015, and co-wrote Dumont's summer hit "Ocean Drive." In 2016, Jones released the single "House Work," featuring British vocalist MNEK and Chicago house veteran Mike Dunn. Featuring vocals from U.K. singer RAYE, Jones' next single, "You Don't Know Me," became his biggest solo hit yet, reaching the Top Ten on numerous charts around the world. Years & Years
Showcasing the melismatic vocals of Olly Alexander, London's Years & Years artfully combine '80s-style ambient synth pop with funky electronic beats. Their evocative, dancey, cross-pollinated sound drew accolades that included winning the BBC's prestigious Sound of 2015 poll. That same year, they hit number one in the U.K. with their debut album, Communion.

Years & Years initially came together in 2010 in London when multi-instrumentalist/producers Michael Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen met online while looking to start a band. They eventually added vocalist and actor Alexander after hearing him singing at a friend's house while taking a shower. The trio's keyboard- and electronics-based sound first gained exposure when the single "Traps" was released on Kitsuné Music in 2013. Biography

Freya Ridings is a London-based singer, songwriter, and pianist with a notably rich, soulful vocal tone. After opening shows in the U.K. for Gavin James earlier in the year, she made her headlining debut in May 2017. Concentrating on plaintive ballads, the show doubled as her recording debut; Live at St. Pancras Old Church was released by Good Soldier Records that September. Biography

A London-based grime MC of Ghanaian heritage, Stormzy made a swift rise in the early 2010s to become one of the U.K.'s most critically-acclaimed artists. Climbing out of the underground grime scene, he made his breakthrough in 2017 with his platinum-certified, chart-topping debut, Gang Signs & Prayer. Within half a decade of the release of his debut EP, he was a Glastonbury festival headliner. Born Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. in the south London town of Croyden, he launched his career clashing at youth clubs around his hometown. His performances evolved from grime-only music that showed a love of artists like Skepta to more rap-oriented material that reflected Stormzy's growing appreciation for artists like Drake. Late in 2013 he began uploading his "Wicked Skengman" series of freestyles over classic grime beats; in 2014, he made his official debut with the EP Dreamers Disease. A year later he released the single "Know Me From" along with "WickedSkengMan 4," the first track in his "WickedSkengMan" freestyle series and a Top 20 hit in the U.K. That December, Stormzy performed the single's B-side, "Shut Up," at a match between heavyweight boxers Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. The song jumped into the Top 40 following the broadcast, and the rapper launched a campaign to have the song top the charts during Christmas. This boosted the track to the number eight position, and the number one position on the R&B singles chart. Before returning to the studio to record his first LP, he released non-album single "Scary" in the spring of 2016. Biography

In 2016, Khalid Robinson was voted Most Likely to Go Platinum by his high school class. About a year later, he proved them right. A military kid, Robinson split his childhood between Georgia, Kentucky, upstate New York, and Heidelberg, Germany, eventually settling in El Paso, Texas—a pattern of dislocation that often made him feel like an outsider. Self-described as “an awkward teen,” he picked up songwriting primarily to stave off loneliness, sharing music through SoundCloud and quickly catching the ears of both his peers and the industry. (His breakout single, 2016’s “Location,” was recorded during spring break of his senior year; a few weeks after it came out, he won Prom King; within a couple of years, the song had sold more than five million copies in the U.S. alone.) In 2017, he released American Teen, a celebratory but bittersweet mix of synth-pop and neon-lit R&B that garnered five Grammy nominations—proof that you’re rarely an outsider alone. In between, Robinson featured on high-profile collaborations with Logic (“1-800-273-8255”), Calvin Harris (“Rollin”), and Normani (“Love Lies”), among others. An EP, Suncity, arrived in late 2018, opening with audio of Khalid being given keys to the city of El Paso—not bad for a kid who’d moved there only a few years before. Biography

Amsterdam's Sam Feldt earned attention in Europe and then worldwide for his melodic house remixes, mixtapes, and collaborations beginning in the mid-2010s. Early releases included 2014's "Bloesem" with De Hofnar and "Hot Skin" with Kav Verhouzer on the Dutch label Spinnin' Records. After a series of live shows in Europe, which he built over time to contain mostly his own productions, he toured North America for the first time in early 2015. "Midnight Hearts" with the Him featuring ANG13 followed soon after, and that spring, Feldt signed with Universal Music for worldwide release of his song "Show Me Love" featuring English vocalist Kimberly Anne. It charted throughout Western Europe, hitting the Top Five in the U.K., as well as landing on the dance and streaming charts in the U.S. By the end of 2015, he'd performed on five continents. The following summer, he had a hit at home with "Summer on You," a collaboration with Lucas & Steve and Wulf. That same year, Feldt issued his first EP, Been a While, which featured guests like Dante Klein, Milow, Lulleaux, and Bright Sparks. "Runaways" with Deepend featuring Teemu followed in late 2016 and charted in Europe, later spawning a remix EP. Biography

Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970. Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock.

Before forming Queen, May and Taylor had played together in the band Smile. Mercury was a fan of Smile and encouraged them to experiment with more elaborate stage and recording techniques. He joined in 1970 and suggested the name "Queen". Deacon was recruited in March 1971, before the band released their eponymous debut album in 1973. Queen first charted in the UK with their second album, Queen II, in 1974. Sheer Heart Attack later that year and A Night at the Opera in 1975 brought them international success. The latter featured "Bohemian Rhapsody", which stayed at number one in the UK for nine weeks and helped popularise the music video format.

The band's 1977 album News of the World contained "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", which have become anthems at sporting events. By the early 1980s, Queen were one of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world. "Another One Bites the Dust" (1980) became their best-selling single, while their 1981 compilation album Greatest Hits is the best-selling album in the UK and is certified eight times platinum in the US. Their performance at the 1985 Live Aid concert has been ranked among the greatest in rock history by various publications. In August 1986, Mercury gave his last performance with Queen at Knebworth, England. In 1991, he died of bronchopneumonia - a complication of AIDS, and Deacon retired in 1997. Since 2004, May and Taylor have toured under the "Queen +" name with vocalists Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert.

Estimates of Queen's record sales range from 170 million to 300 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists. In 1990, Queen received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music from the British Phonographic Industry. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Each member has composed hit singles, and all four were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2003. In 2005, Queen received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors. Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They were the first group to win the competition, and following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. Biography

Coming on smart, sassy, and strong, like an indie Missy Elliot, Minneapolis rapper and singer Lizzo arrived in the Twin Cities with a hard sound and stance, thanks to her Texas roots and time learning the ropes with crews like Atlanta's Crime Mob. Born Melissa Jefferson in Houston and raised in Detroit, Lizzo earned her moniker when she joined the uniformly named members -- Lexo, Nino, and Zeo -- of the Cornroll Clique. A 2011 move to Minneapolis found her fronting Lizzo & the Larva Ink while joining the neo-TLC-type group the Chalice. Her work began to intertwine with the city's indie scene, which included artists like Gayngs, Doomtree, Marijuana Deathsquads, and Har Mar Superstar; listening to a copy of Doomtree producer Lazerbreak's album Lava Breaks brought her out of a long case of writer's block.

Inspired by Lazerbreak's work, she recorded the album Lizzobangers with the producer plus Gayngs member Ryan Olson. The album was released in 2013 on the Totally Gross National Product label. After making guest appearances on tracks by Prince & 3rdEyeGirl ("Boytrouble"), Clean Bandit ("New Eyes"), Bastille ("Torn Apart"), and Sean Anonymous & DJ Name ("Cold Shoulder"), Lizzo released her second full-length album, 2015's Big GRRRL Small World, on her own BGSW label. In October 2016, Lizzo made her major-label debut with the EP Coconut Oil, which was released by Atlantic's Nice Life imprint. The following year saw her drop the singles "Water Me" and "Truth Hurts," with "Fitness" and "Boys" arriving the following year. Biography

With a rangy set of friends from Fall Out Boy to Lil Wayne, it was obvious from the start that Tyga was not your everyday rapper from Compton. After recording a mixtape and promoting it around the city, Tyga ran into his cousin, Gym Class Heroes member Travis McCoy, in the Flight Club L.A. sneaker shop. Their conversation went from shoes to rappers, and as Travis' group went from unknowns to MTV stars, he would always remember that talk and his cousin's unique style.

Travis signed Tyga to his Bad Squad label and then invited him along when the punk-pop group Fall Out Boy came calling. Travis and Tyga would appear on the remix to Fall Out Boy's "Arms Race," which also featured Kanye West, Paul Wall, Skinhead Rob, Lupe Fiasco, and Lil Wayne. When the remix became a hit, Tyga found himself performing the track on MTV's Video Music Awards in 2007. He soon entered the studio to do some guest shots for his new friend Lil Wayne before shifting the focus to his solo career. His first single became the hooky "Coconut Juice," a S*A*M & Sluggo production that borrowed a bit of Harry Nilsson's hit "Coconut." As the club track was climbing the charts in the spring of 2008, Tyga was hard at work on his debut album, No Introduction, which was officially released that June.

He returned in 2012 with Careless World, an album that featured Game, Snoop Dogg, and Drake among its guests. Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and 2 Chainz landed on his 2013 effort, Hotel California -- his second straight Top Ten album. Among his many guest verses were a pair of hit collaborations with Chris Brown, namely "Deuces" and "Loyal." The two opted to take their success to another level with Fan of a Fan: The Album, issued in 2015. Later in the year, Tyga followed up with his fourth proper album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, as well as the mixtape Fuk What They Talkin Bout. Another tape, Rawwest n**** Alive, arrived in 2016. The effort featured appearances by Goapele, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, and 2 Chainz. At the end of the year, Tyga signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint.

In 2017, he released a series of high-profile collaborative singles, including "Feel Me" with Kanye West, "Act Ghetto" with Lil Wayne, and "100's" with Chief Keef and A.E. Biography

Norwegian pop singer/songwriter Sigrid followed her elder siblings into the music business, signing a major-label deal with Island at just 20 years of age. Born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe on September 5, 1996 into a music-loving family and brought up in the sunny seaport of Ålesund in western Norway, about 300 miles from Oslo, she was the youngest of three siblings, each of whom had their own musical career. Her sister Johanne was a classically trained singer who had studied in Italy and Spain, while her brother Tellef had tasted indie success at home with his own band. Growing up influenced by classic artists like Joni Mitchell, Chet Baker, and Neil Young, she was taught to play the piano at an early age by her grandmother and guitar by her brother, and for ten years was a dancer, studying several different styles.

After a stint in her brother's band, Sigrid turned her hand to songwriting and launched her solo career in October 2013 at the tender age of 16 with the single "Sun," which saw her featured on NRK's (Norwegian state television) hip tastemaker show Urørt (Untouched). Two further singles, "Two Fish" and "Known You Forever," alongside spellbinding performances at several major European music festivals, sealed her reputation as a superbly talented songwriter and performer. With her rich, powerful, versatile voice and elfin good looks, she seemed ready-made for pop superstardom, and the ensuing bidding war finally saw her signed to Island. She delivered on the promise with her epic, anthemic debut single for the label, "Don't Kill My Vibe," released in February 2017. Cadet
South London grime artist Cadet (aka Blaine Johnson) grew up alongside fellow MCs Konan, Krept, and Redz as part of the notorious Gipset gang. The teenage crew gained a considerable following across social media toward the end of the noughties with their videos of freestyles about gang life and London living. Using music as their escape, the members all focused on their careers, with Krept and Konan eventually signed to a major in 2013. Cadet continued to plow his own path, and in 2015 delivered freestyles for underground London-based music channel OSM Vision, and suddenly saw his profile skyrocket. Switching his tone from gang-related tales to emotional lyrics about life and its tribulations, Cadet found a new audience for his raps. In 2016 Cadet dropped his first mixtape, The Commitment. Biography

Essex, England-born Anne-Marie Nicholson was no stranger to performing by the time her debut EP dropped in 2015, having shared the stage as a 12-year-old with none other than Jessie J in a West End production of Whistle Down the Wind. She also auditioned for Les Misérables without telling her parents, and was offered a part. It was a risk that paid off, as it served to open her parents' eyes to her singing ability. Aside from West End commitments, the intervening years between her days as a child star and the advent of her career as a pop singer were spent becoming a world karate champion no fewer than three times, an art form she credited with teaching her discipline and focus, two essential traits of becoming a successful musician.

After a chance meeting with an aspiring singer/songwriter, she managed to secure some studio time in Elton John's Rocket Studios, and, after hearing what she could do, she was subsequently picked up by Elton's management company Rocket Music. Anne-Marie released a demo in 2013 entitled Summer Girl, which drew some attention to the singer, most notably garnering a fan in Ed Sheeran. Despite the encouraging start to her solo career, things were put on hold to give her more time to develop as an artist.

Having guested on tracks by dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man, London-based garage duo Gorgon City, and progressive house trio Raized by Wolves, Anne-Marie caught the attention of Brit and MOBO award winners Rudimental. She was featured alongside Dizzee Rascal and Will Heard on two tracks from their second album, 2015's We the Generation, and spent two years touring with the band, playing some of the world's biggest stages and best-known festivals.

The summer of that year also saw the release of Anne-Marie's debut EP on Rudimental's then-new record label, Major Tom's. The aptly titled Karate EP featured three tracks and a Chloe Martini remix, and producers Josh Record and Two Inch Punch worked with her on the record. Both the lead single "Karate," a slick fusion of electro-grime and R&B, and the follow-up "Gemini," garnered some very positive reviews and led Anne-Marie to gigging as a solo artist. In early 2016, the single "Do It Right" reached the U.K. charts, and several months later "Alarm" hit the Top 40 in several charts around the world.

In 2017, Anne-Marie scored a hit single when she featured on Clean Bandit's multi-platinum "Rockabye" with Sean Paul. The song topped the charts across Europe and in Australia, breaking into the Top Ten in Canada and the U.S. She followed with the solo singles "Ciao Adios" and "Heavy," which both charted in the U.K. and Ireland. Both tracks appeared on her debut full-length, Speak Your Mind, which saw release in April 2018. Biography

Maroon 5 is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles, California. It currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton, and multi-instrumentalist Sam Farrar. Original members Levine, Carmichael, Madden, and drummer Ryan Dusick first came together as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. After self-releasing their independent album We Like Digging?, the band signed to Reprise Records and released the album The Fourth World in 1997. The album garnered a tepid response, after which the record label dropped the band and the members focused on college. In 2001, the band re-emerged as Maroon 5, pursuing a different direction and adding guitarist Valentine. The band signed with Octone Records, an independent record label with a separate joint venture relationship with J Records and released their debut album Songs About Jane in June 2002. Aided by its lead single, "Harder to Breathe", which received heavy airplay, the album peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 chart, and went platinum in 2004. The band won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005. In 2006, Dusick left the band after suffering from serious wrist and shoulder injuries and was replaced by Matt Flynn.

The band's second album It Won't Be Soon Before Long, was released in May 2007. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and the lead single "Makes Me Wonder", became the band's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2010, the band released the third album Hands All Over, to mixed reviews, re-releasing a year later to include the single "Moves like Jagger", which topped the Billboard Hot 100. In 2012, Carmichael left the group and was replaced by musician PJ Morton, as the band released the fourth album Overexposed, with the song "One More Night", topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine consecutive weeks.

In 2014, Carmichael rejoined the band alongside Morton to record the fifth album V (pronounced: "five"), with the band signed a new label, Interscope Records. Following the release of V, it reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2016, Maroon 5 recruited their long-time collaborator Sam Farrar, as the band continued for the sixth studio album Red Pill Blues, which was released in November 2017. For the addition of Morton and Farrar, which leading the band's lineup to seven official members. Biography

An MC perfectly styled for the age of Future and Desiigner, Bronx rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie hit the scene in 2016 with a funkier version of trap rap. Releasing music on his own Highbridge the Label imprint, he quickly found success with his debut mixtape, Artist, which reached the Billboard Top 100. Later signing with Atlantic, he scored big with the triple-platinum single "Drowning" in 2017 and topped the rap chart with his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist.

Born Artist Dubose in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, Boogie took inspiration from Kanye West and 50 Cent and began rapping during his teenage years. After spending some time in Florida, where be recorded his first songs, he returned home to New York in 2015 and founded Highbridge the Label with fellow rapper Quincy "QP" Acheampong. In March, he dropped his debut mixtape, Artist, which yielded the platinum singles "My S**t" and "Jungle." Just one month later, he dropped "Bag on Me" featuring Don Q. With a Meek Mill and DJ Khaled co-sign soon after and the Highbridge the Label: The Takeover, Vol. 1 mixtape released in May, the Atlantic label signed a deal with Highbridge and issued the singles "Bando" and "Timeless." The TBA EP followed in October.

At the start of 2017, Boogie was featured in XXL's Freshman Class feature. Later the same year, he released his debut full-length, The Bigger Artist, which was packed with guests, including appearances from Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Kodak Black, and Robin Thicke. In early 2018, Boogie featured on 6ix9ine's hit single "Keke" alongside Fetty Wap, then returned in June with his second EP, International Artist, another guest-heavy release that included J Alvarez, Jessie Reyez, and many more. The London-based electronic outfit Rudimental originally started out in 2009 as the production duo Piers Agget and Kesi Dryden. Years later, they made their debut as artists with their U.K. number one single "Feel the Love." Agget's DJ'ing brought him into contact with DJ Locksmith, who joined the pair, followed later by a chance meeting with Amir Amor at a studio in Hoxton, London. Rudimental's first release, 2011's dancehall-inspired "Deep in the Valley," appeared on garage, grime, and dubstep label Black Butter and was quickly followed by "Speeding" and "Spoons." Picked up by Asylum Records/Warner Music off the back of their first few singles, 2012 saw the release of the drum'n'bass roller "Feel the Love." Championed by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, the single reached the top of the U.K. charts the same weekend as the four-piece played on their home turf at the Radio 1 2012 Hackney Weekender. In 2013, Rudimental's debut album Home arrived. Working with some of the U.K.'s finest talent, including the voice of 2012 Emeli Sandé, the album's mix of dubstep, R&B, house, and drum'n'bass received positive reviews and went straight to the number one spot on the U.K. album chart. Hit singles from the album continued into 2014, including the U.K. number one "Waiting All Night," which won a BRIT Award for Best British Single. Rudimental scored another big hit in 2015 with the Ed Sheeran collaboration "Bloodstream," and geared up for the release of their second full-length, We the Generation, which included collaborations with Dizzee Rascal, Anne-Marie, MNEK, Lianne La Havas, Bobby Womack, and several others. The second Sheeran feature on the album, "Lay It All on Me," became the duo's first U.S.-charting song and their eighth U.K. Top 40 track. The song also went platinum in Australia, Denmark, Italy, New Zealand, and the U.K. They closed 2017 by recruiting James Arthur for the single "Sun Comes Up." The following year, Rudimental issued a handful of high-profile collaborations, including "Let Me Live" with Major Lazer, Anne-Marie, and Mr. Eazi; "Walk Alone" with Tom Walker; "Summer Love" with Rita Ora; and the multi-platinum, chart-topping "These Days" with Jess Glynne, Macklemore, and Dan Caplen. Biography

Shawn Peter Raul Mendes (/ˈmɛndɛz/; born August 8, 1998) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and model. He gained a following in 2013, posting song covers on the video-sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton, which led to him signing a deal with the record label. He has since released three studio albums, headlined three world tours, and received several awards.

Mendes released his self-titled debut EP (2014) and his debut studio album Handwritten (2015), whose single "Stitches" reached number one in the United Kingdom and the top 10 in the United States and Canada. He then released his second studio album Illuminate (2016), whose singles "Treat You Better" and "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" reached the top 10 in several countries. His self-titled third studio album (2018) was supported by the lead single "In My Blood". Biography

Robert Rihmeek Williams (born May 6, 1987), known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper. Raised in Philadelphia, he embarked on his music career as a battle rapper, and later formed a short-lived rap group, The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, Atlanta-based rapper T.I. signed Meek Mill to his first record deal. In February 2011, after leaving Grand Hustle Records, Mill signed with Miami-based rapper Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG). Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, was released in 2012 under MMG and Warner Bros. Records. The album, preceded by the lead single "Amen", debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200.

In October 2012, Mill announced the launch of his own label imprint, Dream Chasers Records, named after his mixtape series. Biography

Austin Richard Post (born July 4, 1995), known professionally as Post Malone, is an American singer, rapper and songwriter. Known for his introspective songwriting and laconic vocal style, Post has gained acclaim for exploring genres including pop, trap, hip hop, and rock. He first attained recognition in 2015 following the release of his debut single "White Iverson". He subsequently earned a recording contract with Republic Records.

Post's debut album Stoney (2016), which was trap and cloud rap focused, was a commercial success and featured the hit single "Congratulations". Dave
Streatham, South London-born grime artist Dave (aka Santan Dave) may only have been 16 when he entered the grime spotlight, but his conscious lyrical style made him sound well beyond his years. Growing up, Dave was inspired to pursue art in some form. Taking cues from his older brothers, he initially tried his hand at animation before moving on to piano before finally settling on becoming a fully-fledged grime MC; unfortunately, his brothers would end up serving lengthy prison sentences. To cope with the drastic alteration to their lives, Dave burrowed even deeper into his music, causing him to develop a socially aware form of wordplay that set him apart from his peers. Despite starting to write bars around the age of ten, it was six years later that Dave would make his first appearance, freestyling on an underground grime channel, Bl@ckbox, in 2015. In January of the following year Dave returned with his first music video/single "JKYL+HYD," cementing his reputation for deep subject matter and ambitious lyrics. Fredo
London-based grime MC Fredo focuses his lyrics on his drug-dealing lifestyle, the streets that he calls home, and all the money he's made. Hailing from London's infamously tough Mozart Estate, Fredo was considered one of the leading figures in the notorious London gang Harrow Road Boys. He practiced his craft as an MC for years, before emerging in 2016 with the single "They Ain't 100." The track immediately garnered attention, including a small co-sign from Drake, who featured the track in his 30th birthday mix on OVO Sound Radio. Biography

Travis Scott is the stage name of Jacques Webster, a Houston-born hip-hop artist and producer affiliated with Kanye West's GOOD Music and T.I.'s Grand Hustle. Scott has a heavily Auto-Tuned half-sung/half-rapped vocal style, and refers to himself as a singer rather than a rapper. The following year he formed another duo, the Classmates, with OG Chess. Scott produced the duo's two full-lengths, Buddy Rich and Cruis'n USA, and the duo broke up by the end of 2011. After dropping out of college, Scott moved to Los Angeles and began recording music on his own. He met T.I. and eventually Kanye West. Scott was hired as an in-house producer for GOOD Music, and appeared on the label's Cruel Summer compilation in 2012. Scott's debut, Owl Pharaoh, was originally scheduled to be released as a free mixtape in 2012, but as his profile grew (including a placement in XXL Magazine's Freshman Class of 2013), and due to sample clearance issues, the album wasn't released until May of 2013. Featuring guest appearances by T.I. and 2 Chainz (on the single "Upper Echelon") as well as Toro y Moi and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, the mixtape eventually garnered a nomination for Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The buildup to Scott's first proper studio album involved the Days Before Rodeo mixtape, promoted with the singles "Don't Play" and "Mamacita," and the March 2015 U.S. Rodeo Tour, for which Scott headlined, supported by Young Thug and Metro Boomin. Several of the dates sold out. During the same month, Rihanna's Scott-produced hit single "Bitch Better Have My Money" was released. "3500" and "Antidote" were released ahead of Rodeo, Scott's second full-length, which followed in September on Grand Hustle/Epic and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Toward the end of the year, "Antidote" peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100 and became Scott's first platinum single.

Chatter regarding a follow-up, along with numerous delays, ensued throughout much of 2016. Meanwhile, Scott extended his commercial presence with featured spots on Wiz Khalifa's "Bake Sale," Rihanna's "Woo," and Kanye West's "FML," as well as a collaboration with Young Thug and Quavo, "Pick Up the Phone," a mid-year hit issued as the lead single of Young Thug's JEFFERY. Three months later, after "Bitch Better Have My Money" earned a platinum certification, Scott's second proper album arrived. Titled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, after one of Quavo's lines in "Pick Up the Phone," the woozy, mostly midtempo set featured that hit and contributions from the likes of André 3000, Kid Cudi, and Kendrick Lamar. It went straight to the top of the Billboard 200. Leading up to his third LP, Scott appeared on "Kelly Price" from Migos' Culture and on Drake's "Portland" from the More Life project. The latter track peaked within the Top Ten of the Hot 100, Scott's highest chart placement to date. In 2017 Scott dropped the hazy, Migos-esque single "Butterfly Effect" and Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, a collaborative project with Quavo. - iTunes

Biography

California singer and dancer Billie Eilish debuted her ethereal indie electro-pop sound when she was barely a teenager. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Eilish grew up in a household of actors and musicians, and was homeschooled along with her brother Finneas O'Connell (the Slightlys). At the age of eight, she joined the Los Angeles Children's Choir, developing the soulful vocals that would later appear on her early singles. After the release of "Six Feet Under" and "Fingers Crossed," Eilish made her breakthrough with "Ocean Eyes," produced and co-written with her brother Finneas and released by Interscope. It surpassed 14 million online streams and spawned a number of remixes with Astronomyy, Blackbear, and Goldhouse.
