at least Dandy* is showing some taste for fun (<3), honestly there were far too many songs that went for the spooky vibe via glitchy and unsettling sounds that I thought some upbeat rap might actually stand out a bit but eh...

Really happy to see 2 songs from my top 8 biggest standouts making the top 5 here - I had a feeling Cor Lupus would do well but pleasantly surprised that Jadakissnia killed it so much as well, I'm really into the whole post-punk sound at the moment but it doesn't really scream wide appeal in BJSC! And then a further 2 of those highlights (Pupok & Fljótavík) also in the top 10 *.* + Mulgracia who were just behind that top 8. Also ikonek @ Xtina actually making the top 10

Have to agree that Close Your Eyes was way better than this one by Kim Petras, not sure I actually remember the top 2 that well oops but congrats John! Very pleased to see Fljotavik and Jadakissnia do so well, those were both big standouts.

Oh noes, I've lost my holiday contest top 10 streak :'( Not that 14th is too bad at all and could've been 12th with one more point Thanks for all who voted, I've had this as a potential for years and glad I finally got to send it somewhere!

Well done John though, even if it wasn't my absolute favourite it was a very good choice for mass appeal and I can see exactly why it won.

Thanks for the spooky hosting Jupiter, congrats John for the win, thanks Leww for the big-ish points and everyone who tossed poor ol Thunderthighs some points It might have been a gimmicky ancient entry (that incidentally topped my personal charts when I was sweet 16) but, hey Monster Mash biggest selling Halloween song in 2020 and that peaked at 2 in my chart when I was sweet 15

PS the suggestion for more Goth is a thing I support, now I can start pushing all those 80's classics in future contests

glad to see D-Block & S-te-fan not flopping too much in the end after a shaky start.
congrats to Altyr although I much prefer the KlumRep entry, shame it couldn't give them a long awaited first win. great to see Corpse Lupus doing so well too, Thelonia on the edge of top 10 and Snakey doing well pre-deduction.
and oh wow a self produced entry finishing top half, and a professional sounding one too unlike me/Snakey/Lotti's iconic effort from back in the day - it was fairly close to making my points too.
