I welcome the news of a second album but I can't help but feel it will be a struggle for Louis when it gets released.
he needs radio push and more spotify support, his fans are loyals and will boost him
walls didnt had that
The album is called Faith In The Future and it will be released on November 11.
Tracklist:
1. "The Greatest"
2. "Written All Over Your Face"
3. "Bigger Than Me"
4. "Lucky Again"
5. "Face the Music"
6. "Chicago"
7. "Common People"
8. "Out of My System"
9. "Angels Fly"
10. "Saturdays"
11. "Silver Tongues"
12. "She Is Beauty We Are World Class"
13. "All This Time"
14. "That's the Way Love Goes"
A bold move going for Q4...! Intrigued to hear it though.
I don't think this was mentioned before, but Louis signed to BMG, so they're going to handle the promotion of this.
Oh nice! Any sign of a lead single coming soon?
BMG will provide good support for the album.
This information leaked ahead of time so that explains the lack of news on a single, one's expected within a few weeks though.
Lead single maybe in late September could happen.
terrible cover art.
gotta give it to louis - he's persevering through. i guess the aim is to make him a marketable touring act but i do wish he'd stop the Oasis cosplaying.
Louis certainly preservering but I think it's the wrong time to release the album.
January would achieve a higher peak as the album will be largely fan purchase and little casual buyers.
Omg. Covers of Tina Turner, Pulp, Michelle McManus AND Janet Jackson!
I didn't cop it was all covers until now.
It's not
He’d better not ruin Michelle’s classic xx
Huh is this a joke? Is he actually covering Michelle mcmanus?
Is the official track listing revealed?
Yes it's literally above
Officially announced now.
Out November 11th, finally confirmed by him!

his interview with UK Charts is very strange.
He says he wanted to prove himself with his first album so made it very singer-songwriter and yet addresses how his first single with Steve Aoki was made-for-radio and that his new music is dancey but not made-for-radio... though he doesn't regret the song though he doesn't seem to have acknowledged it since it first came out and has only recently added it to his setlists.
He's very impressively playing the O2 on his tour! The second member to headline there solo, following Harry obviously. Niall was due to play Wembley Arena but the tour was cancelled.
Album signings. Are the pre-orders low or does he have significant competition that week?
Well we don't know the pre-order numbers, but he'll be competing for a Top 3 position alongside Bruce Springsteen (surely set to be #1) and that's about it from the looks of it! Perhaps Aled Jones & Russell Watson too.
Album signings are so common now anyway, I wouldn't read too much into it.
If he gets another 10 it will be a good result for him but he probably has a chance of Top 5.
his label not giving him support on spotify and radios, a mess!! this album will sell just like walls
at least the tour is set to do ok again
To be fair, they might just not want to add him!
HMV on twitter:
"That's right, all SEVEN of our @Louis_Tomlinson album signings are completely SOLD OUT."

Album's out now! It's solid, I'm not sure I see myself revisiting it that much in full as it gets a bit samey in the middle but there's a lot to enjoy. The singles were picked well and I really like Written All Over Your Face, Angels Fly and Holding On to Heartache too.
‘Written All Over Your Face’ is getting decent TikTok attention! - https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMFPVFV6N/
Incredible album, better than ‘Walls’ which I love.
He’s such a solid soloist, so underrated too
Louis could take the Number 3 on the album chart this week but Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen will clearly be the Top 2.
#1 in the mids! Less than 1.2k ahead.
Love seeing Louis at the top - it’s such a good album, it will be of course heavily front loaded and buoyed by sales from the London pop up shop, the 2 shows at Banquet will pull on a few thousand extra sales and they have added a £4.99 download to his store with 3 bonus tracks.
Fair play to him, he is doing really well, sales will drop off but he should hold number 2 and easily outpeak his debut album.
wanna see his ww debuts friday
Silver Tongues is top!!!
Great mood from this song.
Again, Louis does his best!
My favourite 1D member. Good luck to him!
Wonderful result for Louis.
He will be more than happy with the album performance.
Pulling ahead in today's mids!

Huge improvement all round then!
I never thought Louis would do better with his second album than first so huge well done to him, he will be very happy with the results this week in so many countries. Liam is now the only member not to score a number 1 album in the UK.

I am rather shocked by his success I have to say!
I cant believe Liam is the one who had the unsuccessful album
I hope Faith in The Future can stay Top 40 this week
It was 20 on Monday and number 21 today so top 30 looks safe, if it does hold top 30 id be happy with that.
Number 34 in Ireland this week down from 4, im happy enough with that.
Well its got another week here in the Irish top 100 dropping from 34 to 88.
#88 in Ireland
#35 in Netherlands
Xmas killing the album, no hit singles, no spotify or radio support... well
~40,4k sold in the UK, #62 this week.
#32 in Italy and #53 in Germany.
Yasss he's killin the charts atm!! Huge reviews, rockier, edgy sound, top 10 album, 40k sold in just one week!! He's the Mel C to Harry's Geri.
The album has performed much stronger than expected but I can't overall see it selling much more than his debut.
Very nice to see the album stay in the Top 75 for another week.

That felt like a very quiet release...!
Had no idea this was even out until I saw it listed in the iTunes chart in the main forum
Surprised BMG hasn’t given it a bit more fanfare to squeeze some extra sales.

I'm not into Louis' solo music enough to go to a concert for it I must admit but nice to see a couple of 1D songs in there!
Everything is reduced on the Louis store, just picked up a vinyl for £14.40 - https://louistomlinson.tmstor.es/products/section/14712
My daughter went to see Louis at his Dublin concert last week with her friend, her friend is a big fan, Louis isnt my daughters fave but she liked some songs, she said it was a pretty decent concert although the 3 arena was only about over half way full as they had lots of the seating area closed off and covered.
That's interesting that it was about half full, while the O2 in London was sold out!
