The Sun reporting Harry's shooting a music video in London - we can't be far off now!
Song is allegedly called Duvet (according to sources who correctly revealed information about the music video)!
Exciting to have new Harry music on the horizon he is definitely the breakout star of the band!
that's right by buckingham palace
Interesting too what sound ge will go with as he really hit the spot on fine line.
so my friends were in london during this time and seen the music video being filmed! poor them x
did they hear the song
First single As It Was out FRIDAY !!!!!!
Out midnight UK time on Friday!
I think he's in a strong position to achieve a #1 debut next week, there isn't exactly astoundingly strong competition right now.
Oh what happened to Duvet? Was that not even a thing then?
Video out alongside the song! Will be track 4 on Harry's House, 2:47 long.
oh phew... i read a rumour it was going to be 7 minutes long.
Straight to Radio 1's A list on Friday!
Very promising! I'd love him to get a #1 debut and shake things up at the top a bit! I think there's going to be a lot of goodwill going this way after the Fine Line era was huge.
Video premiere at midnight will be here:
Another teaser video, same clip of the song but with different footage!
Looking forward to it! Sounds promising from the clips.
Reminds me a bit of Blossoms from the clips! (Definitely a good thing)
#1 on New Music Friday and All New All Now and Today's Top Hits; #3 on Hot Hits. HUGE support!
I think it's going to need a few listens to get into but it's definitely very Blossoms!

Really liking this.
It has such a great vibe and after just a couple of plays, it's really catchy too, it's stuck in my head! The video matches the song perfectly too Could have done with maybe one more chorus at the end but that's most pop songs these days lol.
Wow such an artist!!! Wasnt expecting this but love it.
I wasn’t sure about this after my first listen, but it’s already grown on me and I want to keep listening over and over.
its a great song... but goodness who is harry styles?
album one - rolling stones vibe
album two - david bowie vibe
album three - elton john????
I feel like I spent the whole song waiting for a chorus that never happened.
I won't write it off though, I trust it's a grower.
Oh wow, I loved it!
It looks like he shot the end scene at the Barbican Centre in London as that's where I graduated from Law school

Nabbed one this morning!! Harry's first ever CD single release
5 star review from The Guardian! "a pop star in his own sunlit lane"
It's a bit of a nothing for me. Hope there's something more bombastic on the album
Oh I am loving this.
When I first started listening this morning, I was a little underwhelmed, but it got me by the second verse and I have listened a few times since and watched the video a couple of times.
It's has a great, chilled-out vibe and doesn't feel too far removed from Fine Line.
And Harry Styles is far too attractive for his own good, to be honest

“As It Was” debuts at #46 on US Pop Radio today with 504 spins & 1.496M audience impressions;
It took me 3 listens before I realised that the track did not actually start with a child saying “Come on Harry we want to take a knife to you”
Broken the record for biggest single-day streams on Spotify for a song by a male artist with 16.1 million streams! 4th biggest peak on US Spotify too, over 6x as many streams as #2, and over double #2 in the UK.
I like this! The synth riff is a bit reminiscent of A-ha's Take on Me and there's a slight Scandi-pop vibe to it, which is always a great resemblance, and the song itself is definitely quite timeless in sound. Not got a big chorus, but I think the subtlety works in its favour here. I mean I might tire of it later, but I'll take him dominating the charts over Ed Sheeran easily x
I don't think the first two days of the first single indicate much about the era.
Just like Easy on Me smashed but the 30 era itself doesn't seem to be bigger than it predecessor and we've seen numerous cases like that before
As for the song, it's brilliant but once it has got going it doesn't really build on and ends so soon. It's probably not a bad thing for radio and streaming but it doesn't really have the evergreen vibe that Watermelon Sugar has in it either.
Im hoping this might be number 1 when we see the first look chart today.
#1 in First Look with "more than double the chart sales" of Dave at #2!
Great result.
Biggest opening day on Apple Music of the year! Biggest first-day worldwide streams for their Spatial Audio feature since that got rolled out too

Strong holds all round considering there was always going to be an inevitable drop!
FINALLY #1 on Apple Music UK!!
I did hope for a 100k first week but not sure he'll quite make it! Still, he'll have amazing sales and likely to be our first big seller of the year
this just gets better and better... those boring old fools on popjustice forum are slagging it off to high heaven... they'd like if it harry was kissing a guy in the video though.
I think its a great track and i think it will win many more people over in the next couple of weeks.

Fabulous
I wonder will he come close to 100k this week.
Now is a perfect time to release music tbf, there's nothing that fresh out there and now the Grammys are over, I can't see an onslaught of releases coming out soon unless someone surprise drops

As It Was claims the biggest first-week sales of any track this year so far, backed up by some truly massive streaming numbers.
As It Was achieves the biggest opening week of any single in 2022 so far, with an incredible 94,000 chart sales. The song notched up 10.5 million streams over the past seven days – the biggest week of UK streams of any track this year so far. It’s also the most-downloaded song of the week too.
As It Was also claims the biggest first week of any song on the Official Chart since LadBaby ft. Ed Sheeran & Elton John’s Sausage Rolls for Everyone last year.

Ya he is only about 500 behind so i really think he will hold on.
Back at the top of iTunes.
Harry has a 4k lead now so he should safely get his 2nd week at number 1.
It is all a dream start for Harry's third era.
Stays at number 1 here in Ireland this week.
70,389 sold in week 2! 980 CDs, 2,266 downloads, 67,143 streaming
Do we know how many cds were available? Great to see him get his 2nd week at number 1 with another great week of sales.
From the midweek chart information released today As It Was will achieve its third week at Number 1 this week.
3RD week at number 1 here in Ireland
#1 for a third week in the UK too and showing no signs of slowing down!
As it Was will build huge sales in the months ahead but won't catch Watermelon Sugar.
This is a great success for Harry, love that for them!
Back to #1 on the Hot 100!

Anyone have updated sales as of today?
Well done for Harry!
He will hold on at the summit for at least a 5th week.
How many more weeks do you think As It Was can hold on at Number 1?
Incredible for Harry to have his 6th week at Number 1.
Never thought I'd see a full-on indie pop song like this dominating the chart for months! glad to see Harry using his power for good
btw if you're stanning this and you don't have Dayglow on your playlists, I urge you to fix that
How great it will be, if As it Was makes it for its 10th week at Number 1 this week.
Million seller next week, music week gave its total sales this week which is 994,422, as it was could match or come very close to watermelon sugar.
Shortlisted for the Popjustice £20 prize!
6 VMA nominations, mostly for this song/video!!
As it was, was used in the neighbours finale which should give it a boost.
There's no stopping it, what a huge track! A future classic no doubt.
It really has been huge for him and it will stick around probably until the invasion of christmas songs hit the chart.
Have many other songs achieved 5 different runs at Number 1 in the US?
It's the first, as it says in the tweet above
Historical week for Harry.
That's what you call a mega hit.
!!
#1 song on Spotify Wrapped for 2022 both in the UK and globally!
Back in the UK top 10 at #7 this week thanks to a 25%+ increase in streams and an automatic reset to SCR!
Fastest song to reach 2 billion Spotify streams!
An incredible achievement!
1 year of As It Was and it spent its 52nd consecutive week in the UK chart in the top 10!!
Was, as it was given a reset, it re enterted at 41 in the UK and Ireland at 36 on Friday last.
Indeed it was, not sure why though!
Could it be because of the Ivor Novellos? They are in a week or so.
It was an automatic reset for an increase of above 25% in streams, so wouldn't be because of that!
