I hope Peppermint finally does it and gets the crown! Then the season 9 top 4 winners circle will be complete. *_*
A non-elim series will only work if you have an actual all stars cast - so those who finished high on their season. Granted some of the rumoured queens above would be really good/have had big glow ups or were amazing queens who got chopped early (April Carrion & Acid Betty).
I think they should do a point system:
Top 2 lip sync win = 5 points
Top 2 = 3 points
High = 2 points
Safe = 1 point
Low = 0 points
Bottom 2 = -1 point
Bottom 2 lose lip sync = -2 points
Could make for an interesting season. They could also do a week or two where it's double points, so -4 points to 10 points for the week (possibly shake up the entire leaderboard).

It’s about tims they put Dida on tbh and they should rig her into the top so she can lip sync again, although that is a massive standard to live up to. I’m in two minds about there being a non-elim season, as it sort of takes the glean from an All Winners format, but maybe if they could get some big names although I don’t think Kim Chi should come back as I don’t think Drag Race shows off her skillset outside of design challenges.

Lol there's no way this will wind up being the cast going by who they've roped it recently - this is WAY too strong! It's giving wishlist.
I'd genuinely be surprised to see any of the following:
Kim Chi
Peppermint
Asia O’Hara
Vanjie
Nina West
Plastique Tiara
Gigi Goode
Rosé
Here for a switch up in format though, the elimination process that All Stars have had for yonks now is definitely growing tired.

A lot of those are more likely to do it non elim though, I think having ALL of them is definitely a wish list for sure and the cast with them all is too good to be true but I know Asia and Kim have both said before they’d be up for a non elim format after All Winners came around.

I was thinking this or maybe partial non elim, like they could do elimination checkpoints after every few episodes or something, that way the queens get a while to showcase a range of skills and looks, but there are still some stakes so we’re not watching it bored with no eliminations and there isn’t just say some random early out bombing everything and being dragged through 10 episodes
They definitely need a shake up and there is a few ideas that could work or be interesting.

i think they will keep the Top 1 with lip sync assassins format moving forward, it's a lot more dramatic with less wins being available.

Jorgeous on a non elim season ugh, she isn't good at literally anything that Drag Race asks them to do, plus doesn't care about trying, plus we know All Stars is usually comedy-heavy.
Interested by some of these names though particularly Peppermint and April Carrion!

The fan wish list casts predictably turned out to be wrong, not sure about this bunch with non elim… plastique and Kameron having a yawn off… I am so excited for Gottmik though, I think she will DOMINATE as she can do pretty much everything (except lipsync lmfao bur even Jimbo could win one in AS8!), also there is speculated to be more design challenges this year due to the writers strike impacting filming so I wouldn’t count Roxxxy out.

Cringe at that cast and at the concept of non elims for a non all winners. Retroactively that takes away their 'special' season status.
Hard agree on Jorgeous and I don't care for Gottmik buying her way through another season again. They better critique them if its non elim.

Yeah there’s got to be a better medium than making every series like AS7. It worked for winners but looking at that line up, I’m not sure it’d work.

Honestly I didn’t even like non elim for All Winners I know they had to and would have felt wrong sending them home, but after about 4 or 5 episodes, it got stale and felt like there wasn’t much point to challenges,
As I said I feel like like they should do maybe a points system and maybe have “checkpoints” for eliminations a few times in the season. That way it’s different, and it means that the queens get to do a few challenges of different types then get eliminated, rather than just going first week because it happens to be a weakness for them. And then there is still some kind of stakes to it, like you have to do well at various challenges not just get a couple of wins in a design challenge and then do nothing Or maybe everyone starts with idk 2 or 3 points/stars and being in the bottom you lose a star and if you get to 0 you’re eliminated. Just something where the queens get a chance to show a range of things they can do, but there is still a competition where you have to bring it every week and there’s high stakes.
Angeria and Gottmik are the only really versatile ones, and even then neither of them are good lipsyncers. Even then I think Angeria can do well at most things but I don’t see her winning lots. Roxxxy I can see eating all of the looks challenges, of which there will likely be more as I said. So to see a cast like this have to do every challenge, when you’ll have Nina flopping all the design challenges, Jorgeous flopping… everything and Plastique/Kameron having a yawn off i suppose Vanjie with might get some comedy/improv wins if she hones it in but I feel like she’s an Alyssa type where she’s fun and good TV but such a big/unique personality that she can’t always put that away for acting/improv type challenges.

Part of me is really happy with the cast, the other is not. I can see Nina West thriving and cannot wait to see her back! My favourite queen from season 11.
Kameron and Roxxxy will be very good as well. I think Roxxxy will get a big rudemption from AS2.
The rest of the cast I don't really care about. Probably the weakest cast of an All Stars series overall and they decide to do a non-elimination season for?

Just swapping Janey and Shannel in makes that cast so much better, especially as Kameron is one of the most boring queens possible and Janey is great TV, plus it’s great to have a Logo era queen like Shannel in the mix as someone different and she really shone on her AS8 walkthrough slot.
I think she just had a break, but I did wonder because she never posted anything, was visible etc, plus the whole kicking off at Boom Clap as her LSA song
I know that’s not the worst terms a queen has been on with the show, but that wasn’t that long ago and I really didn’t see how she would come back now.

The worst thing of a cast like that is there's obvious glow up queens (Roxxy, Shannel) with a ready made storyline and yet you can just bet your bottom dollar the season's main characters that are thrown favoritism, wins, and challenges that suit them perfectly and no other will be Gottmik, Vanjie and Jorgeous.

They don’t need to push Gottmik, she’s the one on this cast who can do it ALL (other than lipsync lmfao, but even Jimbo won a lipsync now) pretty much, her and Angeria. I feel with Angeria she’ll be a Jack of all trades master of none as there will be Nina smashing comedy, Roxxxy/Mik/Plastique smashing looks challenges, and idk if she’ll beat them, but we’ll see.
And there’s amount of pushing to make jorgeous get more than one pity win lmao, I think they will do though and like AS7 as it’s non elim there will probably be storyline type wins (like when Trinity won the roast after bombing twice, Viv winning girl groups when she had her only bottom 2 in UK1 for that challenge) that are questionable and so the wins are shared out?
But all speculative, I can see this being a pretty balanced cast really there’s nobody who stands out as an obvious winner but I can definitely see Gottmik snatching lots of wins with top 2 format.

I just don’t think this cast is worthy of a non elimination format.
They are all good/great even but the only queens that I’d want to see in this way would be winners or truly robbed queens.
I’m most looking forward to Vanjie and Shannel
The thought of seeing Jorgeous for a full season again though is not it

I think it’s to do with the format seems like there are blocks and the queen is blocked from lipsyncing not winning, so even if they do the best they can’t be top 2 and someone else will, so gottmik gets an early win which is SG and then is blocked from other challenges so technically does well but doesn’t get some wins due to the twist, apparently this is the case for other queens too.
That sounds fun/chaotic, could be very strategic and more interesting than the AS7 blocks, especially if the queens know the challenge they’re blocking for.

That's probably win-win for Gottmik tbh bc she's already rich so doesn't need the prize of winning, plus if she's looking to be robbed while performing well will probably regain ground in the fandom after falling off to an extent after some controversies recently and generally being cringe with Violet

Various bits if tea now we are getting closer:
- The judging and format will be like AS7, all positive critiques, with a top 2 who get wins, who lipsync to block someone, and a high placement. The queen who is blocked can still win next week but doesn’t receive any points/badges/stars whatever they do for it (this happens to Plastique twice and “robs” her of top 4). Apparently when it’s a particularly bad performance they will do a Jaida’s Snatch Game and just go “well it wasn’t the best but you tried”
- The season is charity focused, no prize money but the queens got a 25k stipend for outfits
- Top 3 is Vanjie, Angeria and Roxxxy, supposedly Vanjie has 3 wins (as in top 2), Angeria and Roxxxy have 4. Nina is top 4 but cut. The final is a talent show like AS8.
- Angeria wins the Lalaparuza and Roxxxy wins a comedy/acting challenge.
- Gottmik has at least 2 wins including Snatch Game, but apparently gets successfully blocked for at least one win.
- Everyone wins at least one lipsync throughout the season
- Anitta, Alexa Demie, Janelle James and possibly Dua Lipa are guest judges, the latter may just be a video message appearance type thing
- Challenges include girl groups, Snatch Game, a popstar paired makeover, a commercial challenge in which the queens portray celebrities (like a second Snatch Game, which I’m not sure this cast needs at all), and a Lalaparuza.
Some tea on wins:

Design (premiere): Jorgeous and Plastique
Roast: Nina and Shannel
Makeover: Vanjie and Roxxxy

I’m thinking maybe because GAS was right after, they didn’t want to go all out and this was kind of a stopgap so we still got a normal All Stars?
Also I know the likes of Shannel, Plastique and Gottmik have been asked a few times to do AS and maybe making it non-elim and more of a showcase charity thing, they maybe were inclined to say yes and have now done it.

Episodes 1 to 5 titles are out so we can deduce the challenges and we have some more possible tea on winners:
Episode 1: talent show or girl groups - Angeria & Roxxxy
Episode 2: Ball - Plastique & Roxxxy
Episode 3: Snatch Game Of Love: Gottmik and Nina
Episode 4: makeover - Vanjie & Jorgeous
Episode 5: room design/commercial thing: Shannel & Nina
Apparently everyone bar Shannel has a win by episode 4, so this could track. I hope we get a Shannel meltdown like season 1 where she wanted to quit because nobody told her she was beautiful *.*

Either Jorgeous or Mik wins Snatch Game with Nina, so the Snatchelor chooses Jorgeous and Nina which in the past has always been who won, but tea says Mik and Nina so maybe they’re the same group and a clear top 2 so Ru chooses them? The tea did say Snatch Game is a mixed bag with a clear top 2, the thought of even Jorgeous high for SG is wild lmao
EDIT: so yeah Mik wins the lipsync, Nina top, Mik blocks Plastique. Not Mik lipsync assassin and winning Ball and Snatch Game twice!!

This challenge is worth 2 badges, Nina and Gottmik each have to give a badge to someone else, which will happen at the start of episode 4. Nina and Gottmik are in the same group but clearly the top 2, so while the Snatchelor picks Jorgeous from group 1, both Nina and Gottmik are top 2 from the same group.

Apparently she wins episode 6 but is blocked, it’s a Roast so I could see it as she honestly should have won the S13 Roast.

Rumix again but apparently it’s like the challenge from season 2 where they all got a different style of music

Makeover is won by Vanjie and Roxxxy, the challenge is that they have to makeover a firefighter like a pop star and they perform to an original song so this doubles as another verse challenge kind of.
Lipsync song is Black Cat by Janet Jackson, which is a double win and the two have to agree to cut someone which is… Angeria again!!
One of my absolute top lipsyncs and it’s Roxxxy Andrews I am SCREAMING!!!
