I have been listening to the GH a lot on vinyl so my stats aren’t great this year. Still..

Me too, I listened to them a little each month as I’ve got a lot of their singles on my ‘Random Hits’ playlist that has singles from various artists over the last 30+ years.

I don’t think I actually listened to an album in full thought from them which would explain tne 5 position. Well I did listen to Euphoria from Claire.

I did play the albums from time to time. Though this year was more about the PC on vinyl, especially after I managed to get the picture disc. Would Claire be your #6?

Nice! If I had a vinyl collection it’d definitely be in it!

I think Delta Goodrem or Kylie Minogue would be #6 & #7 at a guess. Sporadically played random songs from them.

I like it, but for me it’s just too expensive. Would never fit into my budget.

If I won the lotto though…. I’d probably also pay to get their first 3 albums on vinyl then.

Thanks for sharing that. I see I had quite the drop off.

I may have to make it my goal to try and increase my number in 2024. Mightn’t be to hard as with each passing year I drift more and more away from current music and close to 90’s/00’s music,

I gave Claire album a good few plays but I usually transfer songs onto a memory key and play from there, steps have a good few songs in there but at a guess I'd say my most played are neon blue, to the beat of my heart, living in a lie, what the future holds, back to you, better best forgotten, stomp and the slightest touch.

Nothing Steps related in my Spotify wrapped

If I go by Last.fm, 1st Jan 2023 to today, I've played Steps 71 times which makes them my joint 17th highest artist of the year. Claire is joint 60th with 22 plays (you can tell I barely played the album...). Top Claire song was I Surrender with 9 plays, joint 127th most played. Top Steps song was Scared of the Dark with 7 plays, joint 172nd most played.

So weirdly Heartbreak in this city was my highest steps song, yet I pretty much always skip that one so I don't get it

Anyway the list said:

However having checked this list, again alongside HITC being my highest making me dubious, it also has Anywhere by Rita Ora in there and I can honestly say I have never listened to that song as I cannot stand her!?

Nothing else in the Top 100.

My top “solo” tracks were Electric and I Surrender with 8 and 5 scrobbles respectively.

All in all, a very quiet Steps year.
