Love At First Sight.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 28th July 2020, 04:11 PM

I had always wanted love at first sight as the follow up to cant get you out of my head.

In Your Eyes >>>>>>>>>>

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 28th July 2020, 04:21 PM

'In Your Eyes' has always been my favourite of the two, but I think 'Love At First Sight' might actually overtake it soon.

LAFS was the one which turned me into such a big fan back in the day.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 28th July 2020, 05:33 PM

Love at first sight was a love on first listen for me, as soon as i heard it i loved it and still do, i also loved the live version on the money cant buy show.

Posted by: Nick Jonas 28th July 2020, 08:20 PM

I can’t choose! :/

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 28th July 2020, 08:23 PM

Kylie herself does seem to prefer love at first sight as she always performs it and often mentions the song.

Posted by: Nick F1 28th July 2020, 08:25 PM

In Your Eyes definitely! AKA her best single ever!

Posted by: SmileyKylie 28th July 2020, 08:28 PM

It's a close battle so far same as its statistics battle

Posted by: Lukuzz 28th July 2020, 08:44 PM

In Your Eyes
My favourite ever Kylie song

Posted by: pippa 28th July 2020, 09:20 PM

In Your Eyes while good isn't among my favourite Kylie singles.
In Your Eyes and Shocked are both midtable singles.

Posted by: slowdown73 28th July 2020, 09:27 PM

I prefer in your eyes. It’s more edgy and just a stronger track.

Posted by: pippa 28th July 2020, 09:30 PM

Love at First Sight is much stronger than In Your Eyes.

I think we get your point.

Always found love at first sight very overrated

Posted by: oof 28th July 2020, 11:39 PM

I adore both but In Your Eyes is my favourite Kylie single if not song altogether.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 29th July 2020, 12:57 AM

I think both are popular in general among fans.

Posted by: JosephStyles 29th July 2020, 02:38 AM

Love At First Sight for me, but I love both!

Posted by: Liam.k. 29th July 2020, 08:02 AM

'In Your Eyes' is my favourite Kylie track so naturally I'm voting for that, however 'Love at First Sight' would win against pretty much any other song.

Actually quite surprised to see 'In Your Eyes' leading though!

Posted by: pippa 29th July 2020, 12:00 PM

In large, everything Fever related was high quality.
A worst song from the era may top a best song from another era.

Posted by: Red Blooded Man 29th July 2020, 12:59 PM

In Your Eyes. Love at First Sight sounds great on album but the live version, for some reason, just lack the club vibe that the album provides.

Posted by: pippa 29th July 2020, 01:15 PM

In Your Eyes loses its vibe in a live setting which is why I think Kylie doesn't perform it nearly as much as Love at First Sight.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 29th July 2020, 01:40 PM

I think live in your eyes is what put me off the song a bit as i never really thought it was brill live, some songs just work really well live and others not as much, i have a few love at first sight live versions that i love and from that i just loved the song more and more.

Posted by: pippa 29th July 2020, 04:45 PM

In Your Eyes taking a commanding lead.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 29th July 2020, 05:59 PM

Love at first sight has made bit of a comeback though its not decided yet.

Posted by: SmileyKylie 29th July 2020, 06:08 PM

Let's see Let's see

Posted by: pippa 29th July 2020, 07:46 PM

Need some further voters.

Posted by: Roba. 15th November 2023, 03:54 PM

Actually a hard one to pick as I love both but I think 'Love At First Sight' just edges it for me!

Posted by: McAndrew 15th November 2023, 05:38 PM

In Your Eyes was an instant fave for me. It has a sexiness that hits just right.

I remember being surprised at how much the general public got into Love At First Sight. It was all over the radio at the time.

With hindsight though, I can see why it caught on. It is pure pulsating joy.

Posted by: McAndrew 15th November 2023, 05:40 PM

Also LAFS gives me Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You vibes. That was also huge around that time.

Posted by: neill2407 15th November 2023, 06:50 PM

In your eyes. Far more credible and a better song.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 15th November 2023, 07:18 PM

In Your Eyes gets my vote, but Love At First Sight has grown on me over the years.

Posted by: Padamic Tension 15th November 2023, 07:19 PM

From the 2 love at first sight is far more well known to the general public.

It really rubs me up the wrong way how you throw around the word "credible" in such a demeaning way, and yet we're still no closer to understanding what qualifies as "credible" in your book.

Posted by: aeroco 15th November 2023, 10:30 PM

IYE, both are very good, but IYE is clubby and darker.

Posted by: markivj 15th November 2023, 11:34 PM

LAFS because it's a Kylie-DNA song (like Spinning Around). It was joyous, current (the whole filter disco thing), great catchy tune and had the "Kylie" element in it. I remember being at a bar with a friend who doesn't listen much to pop music - as the song opened - he casually remarked "this sounds like a Kylie song" and was surprised when I told him it was!

IYE to me is a good solid pop song (like Head) that Kylie just happens to sing.

Posted by: aeroco 16th November 2023, 07:44 AM

Good points…people I meet who like Kylie tend to say LAFS is one of their favourites.

Posted by: Padamic Tension 13th April 2024, 06:55 PM

I generally find the same that a few non kylie fans do like love at first sight as it does seem far better known to the general public than in your eyes.

And it really annoys me about how you completely overreact each time to my opinions. I don’t need to explain or justify myself to you.

Posted by: -Jay- 14th April 2024, 10:32 AM

From my understanding, being credible is the quality of being believable/convincing. I feel like Love at First Sight is one of the most quintessentially and distinctly "Kylie" songs she's ever made! It's totally her. So in that sense I would regard it as a highly credible song in her catalogue. Plus it translated very successfully in the music scene of 2002. At the time it came across so incredibly fresh and unique in the world of pop, like it was a sound of the future. (As did In Your Eyes!).

Posted by: Padamic Tension 14th April 2024, 01:36 PM

Love at first sight I agree is incredibly kylie at her best but also a song that crossed over to non kylie fans aswell, it was pure radio friendly and easy to sing along to and always a huge crowd pleaser when performed.

Posted by: ___∆___ 14th April 2024, 08:43 PM

Never voted in this before - literally love both but have gone for IYE wub.gif

Posted by: Padamic Tension 15th April 2024, 12:17 AM

Both to be fair are part of the vintage kylie era that was such a great time to be a kylie fan as she was just everywhere.

Posted by: pippa 15th April 2024, 11:40 PM

Love at First Sight is one of Kylie's big wow singles that has a timeless feel all these years later.
