Good to see dates starting to be locked in.

Posted by: Sacred3 5th November 2023, 10:04 PM

Announced for TRNSMT Festival

Posted by: Silas 21st November 2023, 08:43 PM

Calendar already filling up nicely!!!

Posted by: Sacred3 21st November 2023, 09:47 PM

Great to see them getting those gigs. They need to do some American gigs for the US fans.

Posted by: No Sleeep 22nd November 2023, 11:55 AM

Oh I hope they do some solo Scottish dates, I love them but I’m not braving TRNSMT for them tongue.gif

Posted by: Sacred3 23rd November 2023, 02:48 AM

They should do Australia again too as that sold well.

Posted by: Silas 23rd November 2023, 10:18 AM

I think it’s great they’re in demand and there is a couple of foreign dates in there too. I’m really hoping they might do a small European tour next year, seeing as Amsterdam and Brussels were sold out and well received. A festival in Germany is so exciting but they’re literally the only one on the line up I actually like so even tho it’s super close to me (just 100km) the fact that you have to buy a whole weekend ticket is just a no-go for me

Awesome!!!

The summer dates are awesome. Still hoping we might get a full tour later this year

Posted by: Silas 14th March 2024, 08:21 AM

Girls are on the Glasto line up again!

Posted by: vibe 14th March 2024, 12:35 PM

Hopefully their slot is filmed.

Posted by: Sacred3 14th March 2024, 09:25 PM

This news is truly exciting and offers a fantastic opportunity for them to shine. I'm looking forward to hearing fresh music and experiencing a completely revamped setlist. The current one feels a bit stagnant, so a new, dynamic lineup would be refreshing.

Posted by: Silas 15th March 2024, 01:50 AM

I don’t think the set will change that much tbh

Summer festival sets are usually about the big hits only

Would be nice if they maybe dropped a single before then

They’re the second highest non-headliner billing here! So they should get a decent set time

Posted by: spiceboy 16th March 2024, 10:50 AM

I am surprised Sugababes did not get a pyramid stage slot this time after their incredible reception last time. Sophie Ellis-Bextor did so I would have thought Sugas would warrant it too.

Posted by: vibe 17th March 2024, 11:49 AM

Heidi and Amelle have been approached ti rejoin and do some gigs according to the mirror!

Posted by: Slayer 17th March 2024, 04:17 PM

I'd be here for it, although I don't expect many others would be.

Don’t believe it for a second, it’s an easy fake news story.

Why would they when they clearly don’t need to, they are making a pretty penny from touring and doing festivals between the three of them why split it 5 ways.

I think that user got confused, there are rumours from The Sun that Heidi & Amelle are going to do their own thing together.

Posted by: vibe 17th March 2024, 05:43 PM

Yes Amelle and Heidi to do their own thing!

Posted by: Silas 17th March 2024, 07:27 PM

I think it’s bullshit from Crown to keep stirring the pot

If Heidi actually wanted to perform then she would already be doing so. Mutya used to do tonnes of stuff and Heidi hasn’t done anything or shown any interest up until now. So I think this is entirely crowns doing

Posted by: Sacred3 17th March 2024, 10:00 PM

I don't think there is any truth to it. Plus there would be little demand for it, except by a very very small bunch of hardcore fans (10-20 fans).

It looks like it is just Amelle doing some gigs here and there, which she is entitled to do.

Posted by: Silas 5th April 2024, 11:43 AM

The girls are supporting take that in Malta!

Posted by: Silas 6th April 2024, 07:58 PM

York Museum gardens in July!

Posted by: Silas 19th April 2024, 10:22 AM

Annnnnnd first cancellation with York being axed

Posted by: Silas 30th April 2024, 07:40 AM

Summertime Ball on June 16th!

Posted by: JosephBoone 30th April 2024, 03:34 PM

I've booked *.* some exciting names were already announced but they sealed the deal cheeseblock.png

Posted by: Slayer 30th April 2024, 06:48 PM

This is a great gig for them!

Posted by: Sacred3 2nd May 2024, 11:00 PM

Please girls have new music ready to showcase to the large audience .

Posted by: Scene 3rd May 2024, 02:26 PM

Omg Glasto and Summertime Ball! This is the perfect launchpad for new music!

Dream set list:

- Overload
- Push the Button
- new song
- Hole in the Head
- Freak Like Me
- Lay Down in Swimming Pools
- new song
- Round Round

Posted by: Silas 4th May 2024, 12:30 PM

I agree. This really is a strong summer showing for them to use to launch a new track, especially if they „premiere“ it live and then be old school and drop it after a couple of gigs to build the hype

Posted by: Scene 4th May 2024, 01:44 PM

Totally! I wish they’d work with Xenomania again.

They really need to up their shows and tours after Girls Aloud. I love both bands, but would be great if Sugababes brought more to the stage to make it more exciting.

Posted by: Silas 20th May 2024, 11:14 AM

Thats the same as it has always been. GA put on a show, a display. As Mutya would say, they’re performers. The Sugababes are singers. The vocal shines through. But they did put on more of a performance at the O2. They even had a stage full of dancers for When The Rain Comes, it was amazing

I think they are two very different groups and GA play arenas and the Sugababes play theatres.

However, saying this even theatre shows can have MUCH better props/visuals than the girls have had.

Posted by: Sacred3 22nd May 2024, 09:55 AM

Today is confirmed for their summer set list

Posted by: Silas 5th June 2024, 09:57 AM

The girls were surprise special guests at a Deutsche Telekom event in Berlin last night and I didn’t know 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Posted by: Sacred3 11th June 2024, 11:26 PM

Parklife went off with that gigantic crowd

Posted by: Silas 14th June 2024, 08:04 AM

They’re headlining Manc Pride!

Posted by: vibe 16th June 2024, 08:05 PM

They were incredible on Saturday night at Bleinham Palace they went down a storm!!

Loved that Shape and Today have been added to the setlist!

Posted by: Scene 17th June 2024, 01:42 PM

And rightly so! Shape is stunning!!

Posted by: JosephBoone 17th June 2024, 05:04 PM

Sensational as ever at the Summertime Ball! Definitely more of a "locals" crowd than when I've seen them before but the audience got more and more into the set with each song. Setlist:

1 Freak Like Me
2 Hole in the Head
3 Overload
4 Push the Button
5 Round Round
6 About You Now

Posted by: DoggySwami 20th June 2024, 08:59 AM

Capital has uploaded most of the videos. They look and sound sensational.

Posted by: Scene 20th June 2024, 02:13 PM

Is it me or was the crowd super dead?

Posted by: Scene 28th June 2024, 08:50 PM

Just caught the Sugababes interview at Glastonbury on BBC2 and apparently JUNGLE were raving about the babes and want to collaborate and the girls are game!

Posted by: vibe 29th June 2024, 05:02 AM

They shut down the stage again at Glasto!! Watched on i player twice and so proud 😍😍!!

Posted by: Tafty³³³ 29th June 2024, 09:12 AM

Just saw a clip of About You Now on TikTok and ughhhh it’s one of the greatest pop songs ever recorded. I love it so much and seeing the crowd go rabid for it was so great to see!

Posted by: Scene 29th June 2024, 09:13 AM

The crowd went wild for Push the Button and Round Round too!! wub.gif

Posted by: Slayer 29th June 2024, 08:07 PM

They absolutely killed it.

Keisha, those vocalssss!!

Posted by: Scene 29th June 2024, 08:22 PM

Honestly just shows that they should have been on the Pyramid stage this year! Honestly when I see some of the people they have on there I wonder how the hell Sugababes get relegated down to anything else tbh?

Posted by: Scene 30th June 2024, 09:46 AM

They should definitely get an upgrade next time around. It’s so heartening to see the crowd reception to them, especially on PTB and RR. They need to get new music out asap!

Posted by: Silas 30th June 2024, 11:49 AM

That’s twice Glasto has underestimated them, and twice they’ve responded by shutting down the field they’re playing in. They’re a huge draw still

Posted by: spiceboy 30th June 2024, 01:06 PM

Just watched the performance on BBC iPlayer, they had the audience eating out of the palm of their hands! Definitely need to be back on the Pyramid stage next time!

Posted by: Silas 30th June 2024, 03:07 PM

I do think not having Drum on the setlist is a mistake. I think a live band performance of that would go hard and have such a great party atmosphere at festivals

Posted by: Sacred3 1st July 2024, 12:00 AM

They smashed it out of the F park!!!

It is time to change the setlist up now but. How Drum and Summer of 99 are not added is a massive mystery.

Posted by: vibe 2nd July 2024, 06:18 AM

^ not really they have to cater for the masses at festival slots !!

Posted by: Sacred3 2nd July 2024, 11:14 PM

but I am sure alot of them don't even know the girls or their songs too. I am sure a balance of both the hits and deep cuts would work just fine.

I don't know I'd say the majority of the songs they play are known by the masses. I'd say Red dress was the only 'classic' not as hugely remembered song, then of course they did their new one.

Posted by: Slayer 7th July 2024, 06:39 PM

I really need a tour.

Posted by: Silas 14th July 2024, 09:22 AM

They slayed Melt festival last night and are staying in Berlin tonight to play the EURO 2024 FAN ZONE

GUESS WHO WILL BE THERE

Finally watching this.

I love that even Ugly is turning out a festival crowd pleaser. The vocal moments are lovely. I do think they could do with breaking the ballad section up a bit tho and spreading it over the whole set a little more evenly

Yes, especially at Pride events! That's what I found jarring the first time I saw them.
