I listened to "Gladiator" earlier and didn't get the hype. This year needed something like "Solo", it's just sad that as good as it is, we're yet to get Margaret to Eurovision.

You mean Polish Eurovision fans? Anyways it seems there is a lot of hate going on with the winner as the Facebook posts get flooded with "angry" reactions and people asking her to withdraw on Instagram.

It seems to be because of two things:

a) Blanka has connections with at least two members of the jury, Edyta Gorniak and Agustin Egurrola.

b) They changed the voting rules to be in favour of the juries this year (Ochman won last year and that was the first time in recent years that the jury vote wasn't the Polish pick). To the most infamous NF voting system of all, public and jury each have, irrespective of televote numbers, a 12-1 to give out and in the event of a tie, the jury pick wins. Televote pick was Jann 12 points (could have been 1,000 votes ahead or 40,000 votes ahead for all it matters) and Blanka 10 points and would you look at what the jury decided, Blanka 12 and Jann 7.

Blanka has a generic pop song if not completely terrible, Jann had a very intriguing dark pop song with great performance potential. Wrong choice but if they're gonna do nepotism and jury rigging, I wish them a very happy NQ.

Disappointed with this. The song sounds dated and for a song that doesn’t require a big voice, the vocals are ropey as hell!

Jann's performance came up on my TikTok FYP with the caption 'Poland Eurovision' so was very disappointed to find out that hasn't actually been sent

Ive just heard Gladiator and while the vocals on that aren’t much to write home about either (srsly Poland this is the best you could offer vocally after Ochman?!?!) but Christ this is lightyears better than Blanka. This is UK levels of f***ing up a National Final and it wasn’t even the public’s fault!!!

Interest is def picking up since the semi so its good its had an impact, i have put a bet on Poland for coming top 5 and top 10 so hopefully they do and i can win a few quid and also because i really like the song and at the moment is my fave entry.

This has really bucked the trend of early running order killing off songs in the televote. She outperformed everyone else in the first 8 entries by a margin of at least 23 points - Cyprus scored 58 while Poland scored 81.

This song is horrendous and that ridiculous performance - the backup dancers, the outfits - fits it perfectly to make it lowkey iconic.

Really happy this made the UK top 75, im sure she will be happy enough with that, debuts at 85 here in Ireland.
