Sigala earns his third number one!

Congratulations to Sigala, Imani and DJ Fresh, who climb three places to the top spot with Say You Do.

Subsequently, Sigala becomes the second artist (after Blonde) to get to number one with his first three releases. With Give Me Your Love looking to make a strong impact, he could very easily earn his fourth number one quickly. It is the first number one (and chart entry) for Imani, and the second number one for DJ Fresh following Gravity last year.

I Took A Pill In Ibiza slides one place to #2, after a week at number one.

Coldplay's Hymn For The Weekend continues to do well, spending its 10th week in the top 3.

Meanwhile, Zara Larsson's Lush Life continues its equally strong performance, spending its 18th week in the top 7.

The Pet Shop Boys' new album Super has a big impact on this week's chart, with The Pop Kids vaulting 38 places to #5. Say It To Me enters at #12, while Happiness rockets 45 places to #17. Into Thin Air, Groovy and Inner Sanctum enter at #46, #61 and #71 respectively, while their David Bowie collaboration Hallo Spaceboy climbs 21 places to #61 and Sad Robot World fals 15 places to #96.

David Bowie's name is now out of the top 5 as Ashes To Ashes falls one place to #6, and Absolute Beginners also slides a place to #10. Girls Like climbs 3 places to #7, No falls two places to #8 and Faded climbs three places to #9.

Other notable tracks

Following its release as the third single from Blackstar, and the release of its video, I Can't Give Everything Away climbs 11 places to reach a new peak of #14.

After just outpeaking Cast A Spell last week, Nothing Like This retreats six places to #13. For now, at least, the chances of it becoming Blonde's fourth number one look slim.

I acquired Now 93 this week, and subsequently songs from the album see boosts in the chart, mostly the songs at the end of Disc 2. As previously mentioned, Faded climbs three places to #9, while Sugar rebounds 19 places to #79. I'm In Control is a new entry at #51, Stressed Out climbs 19 places to reach a new peak of #35, The Sound climbs 9 places to #39 (also a new peak), One Call Away jumps 11 places to #21, beating its previous #24 peak, and Heroes climbs 1 places to return to the top 15. Army also re-enters at #100.

The only new entry not involving Neil Tennant, Chris Lowe or Now 93 comes from Kygo and Kodaline's Raging, which enters at #61.

After 40 and 47 weeks in the top 40 respectively, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself and Shine drop out of the top 40. Glitterball, which originally dropped out three weeks ago but re-entered last week, also falls out, but with 42 weeks in the top 40 to its name. The last time none of those three songs were in the top 40, David Bowie was alive, the FIFA corruption case hadn't started, same-sex marriage was illegal in Ireland and we weren't faced with the possibility of a psychopath leading America.

Meanwhile, leaving the top 100 after a whopping 76 weeks is Ella Henderson's Give Your Heart Away. The last time that wasn't in the top 100, the Charlie Hebdo attacks hadn't occurred, the ancient cities of Nimrub, Hatra and Dur-Sharrukin still existed and downloads were still greater than streaming in the singles chart.
