its very strange she's been actively refusing to work since like 2018 because of the conservership but... not like done anything about the conservership 
sorry i was a bit vague in my typing... i meant, it's strange how she'd be vocally silent since 2018.. as she's been able to communicate via court documents, I'd wondered why she hadn't vocalised more through her court documents (if not allowed to stand up in court herself).

This is incredibly explosive, and I really hope public opinion helps swing this one in Britney’s favour. She needs to be allowed to live.
I have literally no words.. it's way worse than we could have even imagined. I am, however, so happy she could finally talk and say what she had to say. She is such a strong person.

Britney talks at length about her own situation. She understandably sounds angry, and anxious to make sure she says everything she needs to say. Every revelation is awful, it’s so harrowing to hear everything she’s had to put up with for 13 years - including being drugged with lithium against her will. Despite these awful circumstances I am at least happy for her to have finally felt confident enough to speak out, publicly.

I've been looking for a way to listen to this all morning. From what I've read, it's all shocking. Apparently she didn't even know she could petition to end her conservativorship. It's rediculous. I honestly hope that the judge rules in her favour because she's clearly very capable now and nowhere near the place she was in, in 2008. I honestly wish her the best of luck ♥️
Watching this unfold for many years now has been really heart wrenching. I hope she manages to shake this off and come out of it stronger than ever. She really deserves that.

the way she delivered everything was amazing there's only going to be a gigantic backlash if things aren't changed but I think that evidence is enough, her father and sister are horrible people and I hope Britney cuts them out of her life following it.

This is too heart breaking and infuriating..
He won't even let her stop singing or touring, which, like I SAID MANY MANY YEARS AGO!!!, she should have stopped doing in order to recover AWAY FROM THE INTENSE PRESSURES OF FAME WHICH WERE THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. She wasn't connected to it and they just gave her dance pop after dance pop, a million miles away from what she could do (as we saw with ITZ and kind of with Blackout)., and made her go on tour after tour, whilst micromanaging everything. Didn't she get GROUNDED at one point? Conservatorships don't even exist in the UK, so it is bs that she is STILL UNDER ONE in the USA, where every single facet of her life is micromanaged by her dad. We all need to stop consuming her music on Spotify, going to tours, etc, and that is the ONLY WAY they might get the message: hit them in the pocket. Give Britney back her life!!!!! How do we know what's going on behind the scenes? Who is giving the judge the advice r.e her conservatorship and WHY did they recommend not to end it? Why is this not a transparent process? Why has she not been set a series of achievable goals in order to end the conservatorship? Why is she, at the very least, not able to choose who to appoint and who to dismiss from the conservatorship?

BESSEMER RESIGNS - They thought it was a voluntary c-ship and found it was not and do not want to have anything to do with it and that they want to respect Britney's wishes as she clearly wants to terminate.
Kinda... but that means Jamie is back in full control, at least until he is formally removed/made co-conservator again or whatever his role would have been. But it's good news in the sense that an actual conservator company want no part of it (which kinda implies to me that they know she doesn't need it - maybe I'm reading too much into it aha)

Although if Lynne is saying the conservership should be put to an end, surely the courts need to listen to her. I know she's not a legal guardian of Britney, but she's still 1 half of the guardian?!??!
Even if people were trying to save face now I don't care as long as that helps her out of the conservatorship. She can get rid of the scum later down the line.
