So Mariah Carey revealed on her instagram story that both Ariana and Jennifer Hudson are a part of her Christmas special!
But the news gets better... Hollywood Reporter have also revealed that the three of them are doing a new version of Mariah's 'Oh Santa!' - to be released as a single and with a music video coming out *.* 4th December 2020 so not too long to wait at all, yay!
I guess she got the U.S. #1 last year though and it's now the 10th anniversary of 'Oh Santa!' so that makes sense. I'm really excited - 'Oh Santa!' is so underrated *.*A new version of Oh Santa
Unexpected but good to see it get some attention and what a power house trio to have on the same song!
I've never heard the original 'Oh Santa!' before but I can really imagine it with the trio and WHAT a trio it is!
It was whispered last year that Mariah wanted to do something with OS so i'm not overly surprised...
Curious to see if the OCC will allow this onto SCR or not. I think it definitely has a better case for being reset than 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'.

I know I said that I wanted this to be an original song but I LOVE 'Oh Santa, and can imagine a version with Ariana and Jennifer. It isn't very well known so I hope this helps it to smash.
I'm still listening to Christmas music sparingly but gave the original another play earlier and it's SO feel-good, excited for it to finally become more well known *.*

I remember hearing the original back when it was released but didn't think much of it - it's sounding much better today! I can definitely envision Ariana singing on this and elevating it to another level.

Well that has started my day off on a very cheerful note, love it I was really hoping that Ariana would have a whistle moment here somewhere - her doing it at the same time as Mariah was an even better idea *.* I agree that she suits the song really well - the ill-fitting ‘Good As Hell’ remix long forgotten

#57 in the mids - still doing well on iTunes and Apple, but the erasure on Spotify playlists seems to be proving quite a mountain to climb 
so, it had music channel rotation for sure, but otherwise, can anyone else shed some light on this? I've just had a look at the thread from the time and the last post from 2010 was something along the lines of "what happened to this getting released?" in late November of that year, so maybe it just never did.

Ooh this has now been added to Spotify's 'Christmas Hits' playlist - showing up as track #12 for me glad there's some support on the platform now!
This landed at #67 this week - happy that 'Oh Santa!' has now finally charted here in some form. Fingers crossed for it to rise next week with the belated Spotify help!
Glad it managed top 75. Would love it to get higher now Spotify are supporting it but I can't see it
