Oooh, I'm liking the sound of this! It's released the day I go on holiday too, so I have a soundtrack for my trip (hopefully!)

Do we know what this single is in aid of at all?

I'm hoping it's a new album. One of Pink's friends commented on an instagram post "can't wait for the world to hear this album" unsure.gif

Wow, it sounds like Kylie's Disco era!

Posted by: T Boy 23rd October 2022, 03:13 PM

It’s sounding amazing! I doubt it’ll get much support even though it sounds like a hit.

Posted by: pippa 23rd October 2022, 08:03 PM

Support will be minimal.

Posted by: Jessie Where 24th October 2022, 11:24 PM

I guess it remains to be seen, you never know.

Posted by: Dinno 27th October 2022, 11:40 PM

Yeah it remains to be seen indeed but I can see it doing well in Europe atleast. With a great video and promo hopefully will do its trick.

Posted by: neill2407 3rd November 2022, 08:33 AM

Sounds ok. Bit of a different tempo to her usual stuff.

Posted by: T Boy 3rd November 2022, 09:20 AM

Can’t wait to hear this tomorrow! Definitely seems a different vibe from her last couple of leads, hopefully it’ll catch on.

Posted by: Roba! 4th November 2022, 12:32 AM

This is much better than 'Irrelevant' for me. Bubbly and carefree. Not sure if it sounds like a big hit though as it's a bit of a change in style for her.

Edit: The outro is so good, love the harmony <3

Posted by: Dinno 4th November 2022, 01:15 AM

I'm loving and yeah the outpouring is amazing and I absolutely love the bridge its so heavenly.

Posted by: vibe 4th November 2022, 08:49 AM

I think this has a chance to be big!

Very commercial and very POP!

Posted by: T Boy 4th November 2022, 09:11 AM

It was always gonna happen but I love it laugh.gif

It’s been in my head since I heard it and it’s such a vibe right now. Very catchy and upbeat. I have no idea how it will do commercially as I just don’t get the charts these days-most of it sounds crap to me. I don’t think it’ll get Radio 1 support but I also don’t know if that’s relevant anymore. It’d be great to see her get another top 10 hit but not sure it’ll happen.

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 4th November 2022, 09:25 AM

Really enjoying this! A fun pop song that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Unfortunately I see this struggling to even get Top 40 - I reckon it'll end up doing similarly to 'All I Know So Far' sad.gif. We will see though, I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

Posted by: Mangø 4th November 2022, 10:22 AM

I'm always hungry for new P!nk but I'm a little underwhelmed by this if I'm honest unsure.gif hoping it will grow with repeated listens. Can't see it getting much support or being a hit though sadly sad.gif

Posted by: T Boy 4th November 2022, 12:09 PM

Well it’s no.1 on iTunes with the clean version at 17. Of course, this means absolutely nothing these days and I can never work out the streaming charts. Hoping it can at least get a top 40 peak.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 4th November 2022, 12:34 PM

I know itunes counts very little but i didnt expect it to be number 1 either, what was her last itunes number 1?

Posted by: T Boy 4th November 2022, 01:01 PM

I think she often gets there? Not sure exactly, I imagine Anywhere Away From Here got there but if not, I know Walk Me Home did.

Posted by: Dinno 4th November 2022, 01:34 PM

She's performing this song at the Ama's. And she's also no.1 on Us itunes

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 4th November 2022, 02:39 PM

It's fine but I can't see myself returning to it much, it's very cheesy 'animated film soundtrack' sounding.

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 4th November 2022, 06:01 PM

Ok this is my fave thing she's done since maybe What About Us, a bop! I think it's refreshing it's just a fun pop song and she isn't taking herself seriously but I can imagine people will criticise that maybe.

I'd love it to be a hit for her, so much better than the dull dreary Walk Me Home which is easily her worst lead single imo.

Posted by: T Boy 4th November 2022, 06:21 PM

I loved Walk Me Home but I agree, as a lead it wasn’t one of her best, hardly attention grabbing.

I do feel like Pink is often held to a really high standard-for over a decade her leads have been criticised one way or another, it’s almost like she can’t win. I think So What was the last time I saw any universal praise.

This is a really fun track that actually has a tune, a message and some memorable lyrics. An actual bop. I can see how it’s not for everyone but it is Pink putting out something a bit different.

Posted by: lewistgreen 4th November 2022, 07:11 PM

Straight to the A List on Radio 2 from tomorrow and Record of the Week from Monday.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 4th November 2022, 07:53 PM

Hopefully she can at least go top 100 with this, top 75 would be a bonus.

Posted by: Roba! 5th November 2022, 12:40 AM

The video certainly enhances the song even more for me. Such a fun video.

Posted by: J00prstar 5th November 2022, 07:53 PM

I like it but I was hoping for a bit of a harder chorus like Blow Me / So What. It doesn't switch up as hard as those

Posted by: troublepink 6th November 2022, 08:06 AM

I dont normally go for this kinda sound from Pink, and I think if it was any other artist I maybe wouldnt love it as much... but I'm so loving this! After the last few years, its exactly what I need right now heart.gif

Posted by: T Boy 6th November 2022, 09:48 AM

I think Pink has always been good at sounding herself even when changing styles-which isn’t something she’s known for in recent years. But this sort of reminds me of Can We Pretend? Very different sound for Pink but still sounding absolutely like a Pink song.

I’m loving the upbeat feel and agree, it’s been a rough few years and this is kind of the vibe that is needed.

Posted by: Voodoo 7th November 2022, 08:51 AM

This sound is not different for her at all. She has had plenty of Max Martin bops like this in the past.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 7th November 2022, 01:06 PM

I'm not fully sold on this yet, maybe with more listens that will change.

Sonically it may be no different but it lacks the attitude of her earlier lead singles and doesn’t sound anything like What About Us or Walk Me Home.

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 7th November 2022, 06:33 PM

#33 midweek! Doubtful but would love to see her get at least Top 40 with it in a relatively busy week

Posted by: T Boy 7th November 2022, 06:42 PM

It’d be so lovely to see her get another top 40 single but I doubt it’ll hold. The charts are so rubbish these days.

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 7th November 2022, 07:52 PM

Top 40 would be great. Hopefully it can hold. Agree charts are rubbish, though that’s just my opinion.

Posted by: Roba! 7th November 2022, 09:22 PM

Same here ie hope it can hold on but I think that it's extremely unlikely I'm afraid. Just hope it doesn't nosedive too far by Friday. I way prefer it to a lot of her singles in recent memory.

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 7th November 2022, 10:03 PM

I think this even struggle in Australia where she use to get #1’s or top 5-10 hits at ease.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 7th November 2022, 11:11 PM

33 is great start, probably wont hold on to top 40 but hopefully she can stay top 50.

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 9th November 2022, 06:31 PM

37 today! I think it'll just miss out unfortunately but hope I'm wrong! sad.gif

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 9th November 2022, 07:19 PM

Looks like it’ll be close, #41 or #42 maybe I think.

Posted by: Roba! 10th November 2022, 12:14 AM

Pleasantly surprised at it being #37 today. Would be lovely if it could hang on but I'm inclined to agree that it'll miss out annoyingly. That result would have been better than I projected for it as I wrote it off sounding like a hit. Maybe with some help and promotion maybe it could have turned into one after all.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 10th November 2022, 02:49 PM

Ya i thought it would be out, i wonder has it any chance at all at staying in, even it was at number 40 itself.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 11th November 2022, 04:35 PM

Debuts at 99 here in Ireland this week.

Posted by: J00prstar 11th November 2022, 05:51 PM

#46 today

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 11th November 2022, 06:51 PM

Missed the tip 50 in Australia. sad.gif

Posted by: T Boy 11th November 2022, 07:50 PM

As expected. I just have so little interest in the charts now and I think, bar scraping a low end top 40, Pink’s time in the singles chart is pretty much done.

Posted by: Roba! 11th November 2022, 08:53 PM

Yeah it's sad that it's come to that point for her to get a lead single miss the top 40 now but I'm still impressed she managed to sustain that constant success as long as she did.

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 11th November 2022, 09:27 PM

I think you both make good points. She’s had an exceptional career to date, it’s just the way the charts go now.

Posted by: T Boy 11th November 2022, 10:58 PM

Yeah, I don’t actually think she’s necessarily any less popular now than before-obviously you can’t maintain a peak forever though she had a long run-but the way the charts work now, it’s more difficult for legacy artists to peak high. Charts have always been skewed towards young people but it’s even more evident with streaming.

Posted by: Envoirment 11th November 2022, 11:05 PM

Perhaps it could climb into the top 40? sad.gif I really like this and was hoping it would hold on. "What About Us?" and "Walk Me Home" both did really well, so was hoping this would be the same. Granted it's possible it may pick up some decent playlist support in the coming weeks and climb to a new peak.

Posted by: Roba! 11th November 2022, 11:33 PM

I mean it could at a small stretch become a top 40 hit in January but alas not too sure. Depends on if any streaming/apple playlists are willing to support this or not. Also every now and then legacy acts can grab a hit look at Britney, tagged onto Elton who seems to be magically relevant with certain artists to sneak hits going into his 70's. I wouldn't rule Pink out never getting a hit again.

Posted by: J00prstar 12th November 2022, 01:04 AM

I wouldn't necessarily count her out. If she got onto a soundtrack or something like that she could still have a big hit.

But the style of pop she puts out as singles isn't necessarily 'in' right now with the majority of chart buyers.

I could also see her doing the Superbowl before she's 50 which would certainly give her career a kick in the pants

Posted by: Sour Candy 12th November 2022, 07:41 AM

Didn't she just go top ten last year in the UK? I think the general mediocrity of the song is the problem as the very low chart positions in Australia and Ireland show (and Aus has been her biggest market). UK seems to be on the better side there.

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 12th November 2022, 07:50 AM

So it debuted at #64 in Australia. I agree it’s not her best but I think it’s still deserving of top 50.

Posted by: T Boy 12th November 2022, 08:53 AM

Her top 10 last year was a feature on Rag N Bone Man’s song and only peaked in the top 10 following a Brits performance. He was also struggling to chart high despite some great songs in that era. And Walk Me Home was almost 4 years ago now. I expect she may snag low top 40 hits in the vein of One Too Many and All I Know So Far but wouldn’t expect anymore than that. As Jupiter says, her style just isn’t very in and couple that with the fact that she’s never been a streaming sensation and she’s lost support from the likes of Radio 1, she’s pretty much just good for charting outside the top 40.

As for Britney, yes she’s managed a top 10 hit off the back of a lot of publicity and it being a duet with Elton John similar to his massive hit from last year, but the jury is still out as to whether she can carry on getting hits like that or revert to being pretty much in Pink’s position.

Posted by: DionTheSats123 12th November 2022, 08:56 AM

She was number 2 on the UK single sales chart. Streaming being included in the charts has ruined everything. I still don’t feel that streams are counted in the way that they should be in the charts

Posted by: Voodoo 12th November 2022, 09:08 AM

Posted by: Sour Candy 12th November 2022, 09:17 AM

Cover Me in Sunshine (which is a lovely song!) has 329 million streams on Spotify and it was released just last year. She has 26 million monthly listeners. The interest IS there with a good and relatable track.

Lady Gaga's jazz albums do nothing on Spotify but then she had a #1 single two years ago and reached #24 with a soundtrack song earlier this year.

Rihanna's soundtrack singles are tumbling down the charts as we speak, but you cannot say that people are not interested in Rihanna! They just don't care about these particular tracks that much.

It's all about the material and the context.

Sales are so small now though, you can’t have a charted based on about 500 downloads.

And yet Cover Me In Sunshine never even made the top 50 so that argument doesn’t really work. It charted very consistently for a long while but it couldn’t crack the top 40 which just backs up my point.

And I never claimed people weren’t interested in Pink, just that those who are appear to still prefer buying their music rather than streaming it.

Posted by: Sour Candy 12th November 2022, 10:11 AM

In the UK perhaps but it reached #6 in Australia, #7 in Germany and #4 in Norway among others.

To be fair, I’ve only really been looking at the UK.

But I still don’t think this is a bad song, I think it just reflects where Pink is in her life right now and it doesn’t really appeal to a general streaming audience.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 12th November 2022, 04:51 PM

Pink is in that time of her career now where she won't have hits unless it's a one off tik tok sensation it's just how it goes these days. This is far from one of her best singles so top 50 isn't bad considering irrelevant missed the top 100.

Posted by: pippa 13th November 2022, 03:01 PM

It is a chart improvement on Irrelevant so Pink has made progress.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 14th November 2022, 11:33 PM

57 in todays midweeks so hopefully a 2nd week top 75.

Posted by: Run_For_Cover 15th November 2022, 12:38 AM

That’s not too bad, hopefully it can hold on.

Posted by: T Boy 15th November 2022, 01:39 PM

Her last few singles have spent time hovering around the 40-75 area before going ACR (except Irrelevant) so I imagine this may do the same.

Posted by: Jessie Where 15th November 2022, 02:08 PM

I like this a lot! It's a nice joyful upbeat number. It kinda became a holiday staple for me and the friends I was staying with.

I wouldn't count it out just yet.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 18th November 2022, 11:09 PM

Gets its 2nd week top 75 this week dropping to number 64.

Posted by: T Boy 19th November 2022, 09:22 AM

I think this is a very good and relatable track, so I don't think in this case the issue is the material, or that she'd be peaking a whole lot higher with a different song. We've all been through Covid, and the lockdowns etc, and being stuck indoors, and I relate some of the lyrics to that. e.g. 'we've already wasted enough time'. It's very relatable. I'd say it's poor Spotify etc playlisting, and lack of exposure that she's had before on the likes of Radio 1 etc, that are contributing to this not smashing. The support from the industry has decreased.

I think this song is so uplifting and anthemic, I far prefer it to Walk Me Home personally.

The chorus is good fun, but for me the verses and the bridge are particularly good musically, the chord changes really make it.

I do get the reservation that it sounds a bit like it comes from a kids movie soundtrack, sonically it does have a similar vibe to Can't Stop The Feeling. But that wasn't exactly a problem for Justin.

Posted by: J00prstar 21st November 2022, 10:00 PM

I will say it does sound kinda anti-lockdown! Not sure if anyone else heard that and I don't think its necessarily intentional but the lyrics about wasting time and the entire thrust of never not going to dance again suggests that you wouldn't abide by being told not to!

Posted by: T Boy 22nd November 2022, 08:57 PM

I’m not sure it’s necessarily anti lockdown as I don’t think Pink was, after all both she and Jamieson were quite rough with Covid at the start. But it’s definitely about appreciating every moment and grabbing life in the moment. It’s like don’t ever turn up the chance to dance ever again, we now know what it’s like to live without it.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 23rd November 2022, 01:31 AM

Looks like she has a good chance of 3rd week top 75 as it was 58 in the monday mids.

Posted by: Simon. 24th November 2022, 07:00 PM

I don't think this is really that good, I think there's too many words for one in the main line laugh.gif bit petty I know.

I think it'd sound much better if it was just 'Never Gonna Dance Again' dragging out just dance. I think it would sound better anyway, but then she'd literally have to change up the whole song just to please my pettiness.

Posted by: T Boy 24th November 2022, 08:16 PM

Not only do I agree that that is extremely petty but I also disagree that it would make the song better.

Why does no one talk about her AMA performances? unsure.gif

Posted by: Roba! 25th November 2022, 06:51 PM

Well she's not only nabbed another week in the top 75 but also climbed as well in the process, up 3 to 61 this week. That's good for her despite missing top 40.

It does make me wonder because she'll get shoved out mainly from Christmas tracks whether she could nab a low top 40 position in Jan?

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 25th November 2022, 07:29 PM

Its good she has stayed top 75 and climbed.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 25th November 2022, 07:50 PM

Great to see this climb. It could get a new peak post Christmas which would be amazing.

Posted by: J00prstar 25th November 2022, 10:53 PM

What a great live performance of NGNDA! You can tell she's not confident on those skates mind!

Posted by: Jessie Where 26th November 2022, 03:00 AM

The fact this actually climbed with all the Christmas songs to contend with, I wouldn't count this out on potentially being a decent-sized hit!

Nice if it did happen maybe a rebound after Christmas.

Posted by: jordanlee1402 26th November 2022, 06:29 PM

Posted by: Jessie Where 29th November 2022, 12:12 PM

She'd be #45 without the Xmas songs.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 29th November 2022, 09:32 PM

That’s incredible. Hopefully it’s a good early sign for a January peak.

Posted by: pippa 30th November 2022, 05:33 PM

The signs are positive for good chart fortunes in January.

This seems to be what Pink does now though. Struggle to get low top 40 and hang around the top 75 for a while.

Yeah I think the Christmas songs have killed it chart wise for 2022. Hoping for a good rebound in January.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 12th December 2022, 11:56 AM

I think it will easily return in January and hopefully wuth a new peak.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 14th December 2022, 07:39 PM

Up to 10 on itunes.

Posted by: Voodoo 17th December 2022, 06:08 PM

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 17th December 2022, 11:23 PM

The song was used on the strictly final which should get it a few more sales, its up to 4 on itunes.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 27th December 2022, 05:09 PM

Hopefully it re enters the top 100 this week but if nit should easily do it next week.up to 3 now on itunes.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 29th December 2022, 05:33 PM

Back up to 3 again.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 3rd January 2023, 12:56 PM

Number 40 in todays mids.

Posted by: WhoOdyssey 3rd January 2023, 12:58 PM

Fantastic to hear!

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 3rd January 2023, 06:57 PM

Great to hear! Hopefully it can hold on.

Posted by: A Roba New Year 4th January 2023, 12:28 AM

Would be wonderful if this could hold on!

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 4th January 2023, 07:11 PM

Up to #38 in the mids today!

Posted by: T Boy 4th January 2023, 08:00 PM

Nice to see it climb! Hopefully it will hold on then, her 37th top 40 if it makes it!

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 4th January 2023, 08:51 PM

37 top 40 hits? Wow I didn’t realise it’d be that many if this gets there. That’s great!

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 5th January 2023, 12:40 AM

Hoping it does hold on or if not that it does get there at some point as it stretches her run of top 40 hits, she is doing well to be challenging for top 40 at this stage of her career and especially in the streaming era.

Agreed, the fact she’s in this position is incredible!

Posted by: T Boy 6th January 2023, 06:18 PM

It’s re entered at its original peak of 46. It’ll never go top 40, stuck behind absolute guff and songs that have been around for months.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 6th January 2023, 07:45 PM

Disappointed it missed the top 40, but at least it’s showing that it can hang around.

Posted by: J00prstar 6th January 2023, 08:12 PM

If she can snag some Brits promo she might sneak it!

Would they be interested though? Streaming playlists and Radio 1 don’t seem to be and she can’t win Outstanding Achievement again.

They’re all valid points. Plus I think she’d be moving in to single 2 by then.

Posted by: A Roba New Year 12th January 2023, 12:32 AM

I see this sliding back out again but a new peak should still be on the cards, just hopefully not 41 sleep.gif

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 12th January 2023, 12:54 AM

I hear this all over Australian radio at the moment.

Posted by: Jessie Where 12th January 2023, 10:29 PM

I'll be pleasantly surprised if it can make it tomorrow, but expecting it to just miss out. sad.gif

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 12th January 2023, 10:35 PM

Yeah, I’m predicting #43, which will be a new peak though.

Posted by: A Roba New Year 13th January 2023, 12:03 AM

I can definitely see some of the other songs from outside last week which are doing better on streaming and apple platforms kicking Pink out.

She's also dropped a fair bit since last week on Apple so I'd say she wasn't on lock to even be 40 but I'd still like a glimmer of hope and she can make it as it's her last chance now.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 13th January 2023, 12:03 AM

Well a new peak would be better than nothing but ideally a new peak in the top 40.

Posted by: T Boy 13th January 2023, 06:35 PM

Stalled at 47 this week, actually dropping a place.

I’m done with the charts anyway at this point so I don’t much mind. It’s not impossible but I think it’s unlikely Pink will ever have a big single again, she was the last of my fave artists that could. The charts are such a mess these days anyway and it doesn’t take away from her legacy. Still really pumped for the album.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 14th January 2023, 01:43 AM

Yeah I think this’ll drop away now. Still pumped for the album though.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 14th January 2023, 11:14 AM

Disappointed it dropped, I thought it would get a new peak this week.

Posted by: Jessie Where 16th January 2023, 01:06 PM

Well, this has unexpectedly just been added to Hot Hits UK so maybe it's not over ohmy.gif

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 16th January 2023, 06:46 PM

Wow, didn’t expect that. Just when you think it’s all but over…

Posted by: Jessie Where 18th January 2023, 12:06 PM

Enters the Spotify top 200 today, yay! Hope it can keep going, I'll be overjoyed if this can now go top 40 at least.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 18th January 2023, 09:21 PM

Is this it’s first foray into the Spotify top 200?

Posted by: Jessie Where 20th January 2023, 07:46 PM

#53 today. I was looking at the chart thinking "surely this is older than 7 weeks old" before realising it of course exited the chart over Christmas. laugh.gif

Let's hope the Hot Hits add can help it make some positive moves during the week. 🤞

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 20th January 2023, 07:53 PM

Hahaha I forget about that too!
Hopefully the play listing helps.
#53 is still pretty good though.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 23rd January 2023, 06:41 PM

#36 again in the mids. Hopefully this time it’ll stay top 40.

Posted by: T Boy 23rd January 2023, 07:56 PM

Hopefully this is the week!

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 24th January 2023, 01:28 AM

Really hope it happens this as it has had a midweek top 40 for a few weeks now and missed out in the end.

Posted by: Jessie Where 27th January 2023, 02:04 PM

Keeping everything crossed for today!

It's all reminding me of 5 years ago when I desperately wanted 'Dancing' to get that one top 40 week.

Posted by: Jessie Where 27th January 2023, 06:06 PM

#46 again.

Sure does like this position...

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 27th January 2023, 06:07 PM

Its so annoying she keeps slipping out at the end of the week but least its holding up fairly decent and will have decent enough sales in time.

Posted by: T Boy 27th January 2023, 06:15 PM

It’s bordering on farcical now that it can’t even get a new peak. I just don’t get the charts these days.

Posted by: Envoirment 27th January 2023, 06:59 PM

It's not long until the album is released. Maybe the album release could boost it to a new peak or into the top 40? Or perhaps it'll get moved up the spotify playlists to climb a bit higher there to go top 40.

Posted by: Jessie Where 27th January 2023, 07:27 PM

It's got a new peak on Spotify today actually, so who knows?

Maybe next week will be the one laugh.gif

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 30th January 2023, 06:21 PM

35 in todays mids, i think thats the highest it has been so whether it goes top 40 its hard to know but hopefully it might manage a new peak.

Posted by: T Boy 30th January 2023, 07:08 PM

It was 35 last Monday so I expect it’ll be comfortably outside the top 40 at the end of the week.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 30th January 2023, 07:50 PM

I feel like we’ve been down this road before. I’ll predict a new peak at least. #44.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 30th January 2023, 11:37 PM

At this stage id be very happy with number 44,

Posted by: Roba. 30th January 2023, 11:40 PM

I'm saying 42 for it. laugh.gif

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 2nd February 2023, 12:46 AM

I think your prediction could be bang on the money.

Posted by: Jessie Where 3rd February 2023, 04:02 PM

#40 cheer.gif cheer.gif

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 3rd February 2023, 06:05 PM

Yes!!!! Finally!!!! #40!

Posted by: T Boy 3rd February 2023, 06:33 PM

It didn’t sit right with this not going to 40 so it’s good to see. Still deserves a higher peak though.

Posted by: Envoirment 3rd February 2023, 10:06 PM

So happy it went top 40!! cheer.gif cheer.gif cheer.gif

I wonder if it could even improve on that in the coming weeks?

Posted by: Roba. 4th February 2023, 01:54 AM

40 is better than nothing. I guess it could repeak again with the album soon but who knows. Think 'TRUSTFALL' could potentially peak higher than it maybe though.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 4th February 2023, 03:13 AM

It finally made. I'm very happy with that.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 4th February 2023, 06:24 AM

#13 on the Airplay 100 this week in Australia.

Posted by: Jessie Where 4th February 2023, 07:26 PM

I've just realised I've been getting a lyric wrong all this time on this song.

In the chorus, I thought "I just wanna pop and lock to my records" was "pump it up to my knickers" (which doesn't really make sense, I know - but I'm not changing it now!)

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 4th February 2023, 08:54 PM

Hahahaha, that’s brilliant! I love how everyone can hear something a little different.

Posted by: Jessie Where 4th February 2023, 11:16 PM

laugh.gif I know, one for the misheard lyrics thread!

I want to share something personal about this song. It speaks to me, I've been through some awful shit recently and my mental health is shot. I love the sentiment of this, it's a reminder to be thankful for everything you've got & that you're still here standing and to embrace it!

This song came at the right time for me to help me heal and put things in perspective.

Fully agreed, this song has really resonated with me, I too went through some crap before it was released. I love the message and energy of it. It does feel to me slightly that this has been overlooked by many because of music snobbery.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 6th February 2023, 06:49 PM

38 in todays mids so hopefully another week top 50.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 8th February 2023, 07:00 PM

#40 in todays mids, as per the Friday Chart Predictions thread.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 9th February 2023, 06:09 AM

Debuts at #99 on the Billboard Hot 100!

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 10th February 2023, 08:58 PM

43 in todays chart, its holding steady.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 10th February 2023, 09:24 PM

Great holding power and at least it hit its week in the top 40.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 14th February 2023, 12:12 AM

39 in todays mids so id say it has another week top 50 and also brings it closer to 100k now.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 14th February 2023, 12:30 AM

That's great! Has this gone back ahead of Trustfall?

Posted by: Jessie Where 17th February 2023, 04:06 PM

Gets another week at #40 this week ohmy.gif

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 17th February 2023, 07:57 PM

Great to see it getting a 2nd week in the top 40. Its hung on very well.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 17th February 2023, 08:31 PM

Great to see. Agree it’s done amazing to nag around. Is it close to Silver?

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 20th February 2023, 07:12 PM

New peak looks very very possible this week, its 19 in todays midweeks.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 20th February 2023, 07:33 PM

Agree, provided it doesn’t drop significantly. Hopefully too 30.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 21st February 2023, 12:53 AM

I dont think it will have a massive drop and do think it will get a new peak, ideally in the top 30.

Posted by: Jessie Where 24th February 2023, 05:14 PM

#19 cheer.gif

Posted by: T Boy 24th February 2023, 06:31 PM

This never felt like a no.40!song. So pleased, 19 is a vast improvement.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 24th February 2023, 07:32 PM

#19 is incredible!

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 24th February 2023, 07:42 PM

After weeks of just missing the top 40 for a whole it's great seeing this go top 20.

Posted by: Roba. 24th February 2023, 08:16 PM

Glad this held on to make top 20 in the end.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 24th February 2023, 09:22 PM

New peak in Ireland aswell this week, it climbs from 53 to 32 this week.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 25th February 2023, 02:44 AM

Big jump in Ireland! dance.gif

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 4th March 2023, 02:32 AM

Really happy to see it at 22 in the UK this week, its held on well, 2 weeks top 30 isnt bad at all, new peak in Ireland this week, up 1 to 31.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 4th March 2023, 05:45 AM

Good to see this song still has some life left in it even if not in Australia.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 6th March 2023, 07:15 PM

20 in todays mids, its holding on well.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 6th March 2023, 07:28 PM

Holding up very well!

How long till it hits ACR?

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 7th March 2023, 01:36 AM

I'm not sure but I think she is safe for another 2 weeks.

Posted by: Roba. 8th March 2023, 01:38 AM

The album has helped it out for sure.

Posted by: Feel_The_Fever 24th March 2023, 12:34 AM

Big drop this week as it goes on acr but its had a decent chart run especially after a slow enough start and a frustrating few weeks of coming so close to going top 40 and missing out.

Posted by: One_For_Sorrow 24th March 2023, 02:36 AM

It's had a great run, would've never dreamt it'd perform how it did when it kept falling short of the top 40.
