Talks of Rob being part of a new band called Lufthaus, ( Thanks to https://www.robbiewilliamslive.com/news/rwl-2/sway-le-nouveau-robbie-williams for the heads up on this ) . There seems to be some connection with Armada music platform which featured Bob Sinclair & Ron on the Electrico Romantico track in 2019
Not 100% sure what the story is here , time will tell ..
A company called Lufthaus was registered in London in JUNE 21'. Directors Ronnie Williams/Tim Clarke/Michael Loney , it is described sound recording and music publishing

In November 2019 – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global publishing company, today announced the signing of a global administration deal with Robbie Williams’ publishing company, Farrell Music. The agreement includes Robbie Williams’ existing catalogue and future works.

Robbie Williams makes comeback with obscure band and nobody noticed
It seems very likely that Robbie Williams (48) has made his comeback in a new band after more than a year of silence. The singer can unmistakably be heard on the group's debut single Lufthaus, but the band and the artist themselves have not said a word about it and his name is nowhere to be seen. New music by Robbie Williams, one of the most successful artists of recent decades, is usually big news in Europe. In 2016, his record company bought expensive TV airtime in England to announce a new album during an X Factor commercial break . With 2.4 million followers on Instagram and Twitter, a single message would quickly attract attention, but it has been quiet there for a month and a half. Corona had hardly any impact on Robbie Williams' social life: 'Have been isolated since 1993'
Virtually no fan noticed that Williams launched a new song a week ago with Armada, the record company that was co-founded by Armin van Buuren. The song is called Sway , the band Lufthaus. A press release went out and the group promoted the song on a newly created Instagram profile, but that went under the radar given the 239 followers. It wasn't until last night that the song went viral on social media fans. The puzzle pieces are there. Williams appears to have already given a taste of the song in a live broadcast on Instagram during the pandemic. He was already planning to start a band under a different name with producers Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis, with whom he has been collaborating for some time. While none of them are mentioned in the press release, it does speak of "three friends" and "decades" of experience. House-like underground music is uncharted territory for Williams, who said he hopes fans will enjoy the music in clubs. It's not just a single: the band promises an entire album, live performances and 'digital experiences' for the coming months. The identity of the band members has been kept secret on purpose, the group says.
It's not the first time Williams has flirted with band life and a pseudonym. For example, he liked not being alone on stage when he briefly returned to boy band Take That in 2010 and he toyed with the idea of releasing his album Intensive Care under a different name around 2004. Lufthaus seems to be a side project for Robbie, who will probably also release an album under his own name this year. He is thus celebrating his 25th anniversary as a solo artist.

LUFTHAUS HIT ARMADA MUSIC WITH CROSS-GENRE DEBUT SINGLE: ‘SWAY’
by
FINDYOURSOUNDS
February 11, 2022
It takes a special act to set the underground scene ablaze upon first try, and Lufthaus fit that bill to the letter. Favoring electronic moods and atmospheres over traditional pop song structures, the singer-writer-producer tag team deliver an incredible first single to Armada Music in the form of ‘Sway’, which will be getting top remixes from hot-and-happening names such as Fideles and Dense & Pika shortly after today’s release. Expressive, compelling and sonically sophisticated, Lufthaus’ highly anticipated debut release on Armada Music takes hold of listeners from the very first tone. From the atmospheric harmonies to the contagious beat and conspicuous vocal presence, ‘Sway’ makes for a cross-genre masterpiece able to captivate dance floors regardless of stylistic preference.
“This project has been months in the making, keeping us busy in the studio throughout the pandemic, so we’re delighted to now be releasing the first single with Armada”, Lufthaus say. “We’ve purposely kept Lufthaus unrevealed, so we’re looking forward to releasing more music and revealing more material over the coming months.”
Lufthaus are three longtime friends who’ve been jointly captivating the global music scene for multiple decades. With songs that draw inspiration from the timeless, impressionistic and yet relentlessly modern feel of the city of Berlin, the trio seek to occupy the hearts and minds of all those who seek them out, with a haunting and hopeful sound all their own. 2022 will see Lufthaus indulge in their first live performances, launch their debut album and release a series of digital first experiences that‘s inevitably starting on a high note with ‘Sway’.

News articles make me smile when they say ' making a comeback' , what does that mean these days
He's doing something I think he has wanted to do for a long time , might not be my cup of tea but I admire him for doing his own thing , will be interesting to see how it develops over the summer months
I like it -how exciting!
I also like it, especially as it is not 'either-or' but both he will do, classic Robbie and something different
It's also tapping into the streaming market where everyone wants to be nowadays ... I wonder how they will handle the art exhibs, cannot wait to hear about that , will it be launched in Germany
I like it too.
Waiting for more remixes from big artists for this project.
I think this one can gives him new opportunities, people and market.
Hope he wil like this exp himself.
Also as that is the style of music that he so loves -it must be really refreshing for him to just reinvent himself and give it a go.
He's got a very distinct voice so must have known it would be discovered quickly

Robbie Williams intends to open a night club "Similar to Berghain" in Berlin
Robbie Williams intends to get into the club scene, opening a multi-working club and art gallery 'somewhat like Berghain'. As indicated by Der Spiegel, the British pop star needs to open a music setting in Berlin to seek after a fresh out of the plastic new and driven venture. 25 years subsequent to leaving the incredible boyband Take That, Robbie Williams is back and arranging some uncommon things in the German capital.
"I will begin a band and be a DJ and need to lease a space in Berlin, a gallery with my art, and at night it will be a club." In a live on Instagram, Robbie Williams uncovered that he intends to collaborate with Australian lyricists and makers Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe. In spite of the fact that the task has no name known at this point, the primary tunes are prepared. The pandemic had postponed the advancement of the task that, as clarified by Robbie, could likewise work in Tokyo. During the live, the pop star additionally clarified the idea that he has at the top of the priority list: 'It will be a musical spot, something that the elderly individuals will call a rave'.
Further subtleties, for example, the initial date of this new scene are yet to be uncovered. Everything necessary is to watch out for the news and follow improvements intently.

.... and all centred around his German market.
I'm guessing the new RW album whenever that is will be launched in Germany
Rob is still quite big in Germany and EDM is huge in the German market and in the Netherlands. How is it in the UK, aside of David Guetta, Aviccii and few others?

Robbie Williams rocks and shocks the Balearics
https://www.majorcadailybulletin.com/news/celebs/2022/08/12/104597/balearics-surprise-performance-robbie-williams.html
Robbie Williams appears (and sings) by surprise at a trendy club in Ibiza
There were many rumors circulating in Ibiza, and finally on the night of this past Thursday, August 11, the best expectations were met. The star Robbie Williams performed by surprise on the white island, specifically in the amphitheater of 528 Gardens, one of the fashionable Ibizan clubs, located in an outdoor area in the hills of Benimussa and whose musical and gastronomic proposal is enjoying an excellent reception by the local public and tourists.
The Briton attended as a guest of Lufthaus, one of the greatest sensations of the international dance scene of the moment that has the acclaimed producers Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis. While the performance of the electronic band had been known for days, the identity of their special guest had been kept in the strictest secrecy. And in fact, it wasn't revealed until the last moment.
Night fell when to the surprise of everyone present Robbie Williams took the stage. Since then and during the 90 minutes that the set lasted, the audience danced with their waste of energy while still recording the moment with their mobiles. The British singer, dressed in shorts, matching blouse and eye-catching sneakers, won over the audience from the first moment by singing a couple of songs and playing music in the DJ booth, before going down to the dance floor with his fans.
"We launched 528 Ibiza with the ambition to become the most important entertainment destination on the island. That one of the most successful artists in the world has chosen our newly opened space 528 Gardens for this spectacular debut has been a dream come true," explains Andy McKay, CEO of 528 Ibiza & Ibiza Rocks Group.
Those who couldn't enjoy Lufthaus' performance have another chance this weekend, as the duo will perform again on the island on Sunday, August 14. This time it will be at the iconic Ibiza Rocks and rumors say that they will be accompanied again by a very special guest.
Another very famous British musician who has been spotted in Ibiza this summer is the founder of the band Oasis, Noel Gallagher. The singer and guitarist was seen eating with his family in a restaurant on the island, and the rest of the diners did not miss the opportunity to sing a cappella one of his greatest hits, 'Wonderwall', while he tried to follow his own.

This music is not my cup of tea but my colleague loves it. She has heard Lufthaus in the radio and she remembered the name because she liked it so much and only later I told her that it was Robbie.
But actually it wasn't so bad to hear this kind of music in Munich, because it fits to a concert and the open air atmosphere there. At least in the beginning, however towards the end it was just too long for me. They played 3/4 of an hour and every song went on and on and on for 10 minutes and more. Over time I found it boring but of course that is a matter of taste. And I missed Robbie, because I thought he would be with them on stage or at least join them for the last 5 minutes but that didn't happen .
LUFTHAUS - MUNICH

Yes-yes =)
I wonder if Lufthaus will also be the special guests in Europe on the tour
Yes, I think so.
Robbie always needs somebody's support on tour.
In the past there was Max, then Johnny, then Take That, then father & family. Now Tim and Flynn I suppose.
Target audience can't be middle aged Robbie fans but I guess it's all exposure.

Following on from ‘Sway’ and ‘To The Light’, ‘Soul Seekers’ is Lufthaus’ first release since the full line-up of Tim Metcalfe, Flynn Francis and @Robbie Williams has been announced. From the nostalgic intro pads, rousing beats and beguiling arpeggios to the near-ethereal vocal presence searching out the light, this track pulls in listeners in a matter of seconds and can be felt in every fiber of one’s being.

Well I hope it does really well for the lads , it's completely separate from Rob's RW stuff & it's a good opportunity having the music played at all the upcoming gigs
In fact it's a possibility to give some freshness to Robbie's fan base.
You know it's not so easy to get new supporters from young audience.
Don't forget that this tour will not have orchestra.
Also must say that it's only 40-min set around other music
So I swear you will like it
And yes, I like the new single!!
And yes, they must to release the album on his birthday.
That pic of the boys is gorgeous
I also like the new single , I agree it's good that he try new things
Will be interesting to see what Laura thinks after Sunday's gig
Does anyone else think that the timing of the launch of Lufthaus is really bad, I think it might be totally confusing for some people especially the fact that Rob does not appear on stage as part of the band. I know that would be impossible for Rob given he is doing the main show. I know that it is an opportunity for a lot of people to hear the music but I am not so sure if it will help the identity on the band . I feel it might be a project that they launched at a different time & performed at some of the EDM festivals around Europe. Is this just a hobby for Rob or a real go at doing something different.
Just my opinion
If it's just a hobby for Rob we should be really happy for him!!!
You know, Rudebox also was like a hobby fo him but he hadn't a chance to do it without press. Now he can do it without press and it's cool, isn't it?
I do not look at Lufthaus like a band for long period.
It's a one-off project, I'm sure.
Did you mean there is no orchestra for Rob's bit Alex?
During one of his interview Rob told that this tour will not be accompanied by full orchestra because it's very expensive to organize.
Maybe there will be some exclusive dates like Amsterdam or London or maybe partly orchesrated (4-5 additional members for some songs) but not in full Mode.
P.S. also there was a rumour of Albert Hall with full orchestra but not sure.
I also heard the rumour of Albert Hall, maybe Amsterdm and Elb philarmony Hamburg?
I'd like to get it to, yes.
But I'm a little bit afraid after that awful Christmas TV Special a few years ago =))))
It's the reason why people stopped to buy this great album.
He needs another one but better quality! Not album but TV Special.

Some opinion on Soul Seekers
Lufthaus should be playing this in their gig opening set. A bit slow to start but gets better , it's just a great remix
South Of The Border (Phil 'The Kick Drum' Dane & Matt Smith's Filthy Funk Vocal)
New remixes and these ones has more sound.
I like it!

Wow, wow, wow!!!
I LOVE THAT SONG, VIDEO and mix too!!

'Unlovable' is not good, I'm afraid. He sounds so bored & lifeless singing it.
The track has had 83k views so far on YT & is doing way better than any of the earlier releases & seems to be gaining traction. The track has a great beat to it & I think may do very well in Europe. Rob is on tour mainly in Germany in the month of FEB so plenty of time to have it heard in the coming months.

Robbie Williams' Lufthaus is set to release her debut album later this year
by ME editors 03/09/2023
As recently as January 2023, Robbie WIlliams said that Lufthaus might remain a live project. This thought seems to have been forgotten now. Lufthaus, the electronic band centered around Robbie Williams , is reportedly planning to release its debut album this fall. There is no official confirmation, nor is a release date or album title known.
Lufthaus was formed in December 2020 by Williams and Australian songwriters and producers Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis. At this point the trio didn't have a name yet . Francis, Metcalfe and Williams have known each other since at least 2012, through their collaboration on his record TAKE THE CROWN.
"Sway" was released in February 2022. The first single by Lufthaus, which until then was only known to have played live shows in Ibiza. It was only when "Soul Seekers" followed in October of the same year that fans realized that the third member of the dance formation was Robbie Williams and that Lufthaus was the band formed in 2020.
In an interview in January 2023, the 49-year-old then announced that there were enough Lufthaus songs for several albums. However, he left open whether it should remain a pure live project. That thought seems history now. It was also said in the same interview. that he plans to release two albums this year. The relationship between solo works and those of the trio within this plan is unclear.
Robbie Williams is currently on a European tour with "XXV - 25 Years of Hits", with Lufthaus playing support.

Paris not looking great, is it
A new song will be premiered in May.
No Rob's vocal on the track
I am wondering about this project. Is it heading anywhere? Is it just fun? If not, is the 'small success' until now what they expected?
I think it must be very must a side project for Robbie but when it comes to the other guys I do not know . I have no idea how to measure success when it comes to EDM ... the last tune that they released I really liked ( Unloveable ) . Do not think I would be interested in a whole album but that's just showing my age I guess

The newest one and I like it a lot

Robbie Williams’ dance music project Lufthaus, announces debut album
“This isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s our heart, our soul and our vision for what electronic music can be"
Lufthaus, Robbie Williams‘ dance music project, have announced their upcoming debut album ‘Visions Volume 1’.
Comprised of Williams, Flynn Francis and Tim Metcalfe, Lufthaus created their LP across the UK and Australia. The project originated during the pandemic and was inspired both by the trio’s love for Berlin’s electronic music scene, as well as time spent clubbing.
‘Visions Volume 1’ consists of ten tracks and has been described as fusing “the pulse of electronica with the art and structure of classic songwriting.” Speaking about the LP and the project, Williams shared in a statement: “This isn’t just a collection of songs. It’s our heart, our soul and our vision for what electronic music can be. With Flynn and Tim by my side, we’ve embarked on a musical journey that we’re eager to share with the world.
Lufthaus have released their latest single ‘Sunlight’ today (September 15). It follows the handful of previous releases Lufthaus have had which include ‘Sway‘, which was shared anonymously last year, and ‘Soul Seekers’, which was released when Williams was announced as part of the project. Speaking of the album in a statement, Metcalfe said: “Every track on ‘Visions Volume 1’ tells a story, a memory, an emotion.” ‘Visions Volume 1’ is set for release on October 6 via Armada Music.
‘Visions Volume 1’ track listing is:
1. ‘Sway’
2. ‘Sunlight’
3. ‘Immortal’ ft. Sophie Ellis-Bextor
4. ‘Alcohol’
5. ‘Unlovable’
6. ‘Ringo’
7. ‘Bon Vivant Redux’

A lot of the tracks so far have been fairly easy listening , not bang your head against the wall stuff , I think put together they make a very nice album
Will it be released physically?
I wonder if people who do not know Lufthaus ecause of Robbie will buy this
I think - no physical release.
Btw, there is no Child Of Mine song.
So maybe Vol 2 will be released soon too?
