Interested to see how Leeds do in their first season back in the Championship - could go either way I suppose!
QPR got done 5-0 at Oxford last week, so progress of sorts...
Norwich face an anxious wait to discover the extent of Josh Sargent's ankle injury.
City were 4-0 winners at Huddersfield on Saturday but the win was marred by the American forward limping off.
Sargent charged down Terriers goalkeeper Lee Nicholls to put the visitors ahead on 11 minutes but stayed down after Nicholls' last-ditch tackle.
Canaries boss David Wagner told BBC Radio Norfolk: "Unfortunately it looks like a serious ankle injury."
Sounded like a thrilling game between Leeds and Ipswich the other day! Good to see Leeds get their first win though.
Birmingham City have parted company with head coach John Eustace after 15 months in charge.
The Championship club are sixth in the table after Friday's 3-1 derby win over West Bromwich Albion.
American-owned Blues have been linked with ex-England captain Wayne Rooney, who has just left his role as coach of Major League Soccer side DC United.
The club said the appointment of a new boss is imminent and will be encouraged to adopt a "no fear" approach.
"A new first-team manager will be announced in the coming days who will be responsible for creating an identity and clear 'no fear' playing style that all Birmingham City teams will adopt and embrace," a club statement said.
Birmingham City have appointed Wayne Rooney as their new manager.
The 37-year-old former England captain has joined the Championship club on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
Rooney succeeds Blues head coach John Eustace, who was sacked on Monday after 15 months in charge.
The ex-Everton and Manchester United striker's appointment is the first managerial change made by Blues' new American owners Shelby Companies Limited since they took over in July.
Rooney will be supported by his former England team-mate and current England Under-21 assistant Ashley Cole and his old United colleague John O'Shea, the assistant coach of the Republic of Ireland men's national team.
Leicester are not f***ing about!
Looks like they'll be straight back up if they keep up with the form they're on! Hoping Leeds might be able to put an end to their winning streak next week though
Sunderland have sacked head coach Tony Mowbray after 15 months in charge.
The Black Cats have won just two of their past nine league games and have slipped to ninth, having made the play-offs last season.

Swansea City have drawn up a shortlist of managerial targets, with Tottenham's Chris Davies emerging as a leading candidate to succeed Michael Duff.
Davies, 38, joined Spurs in the summer as Ange Postecoglou's senior assistant coach, having spent much of his career as number two to Brendan Rodgers.
He had been close to taking over at Championship side Swansea before Duff was appointed head coach in June.
Blackburn manager Jon Dahl Tomasson has been given a one-game touchline ban and fined £2,000 by the Football Association for misconduct during Saturday's loss at Sheffield Wednesday.
Tomasson was sent off for protesting in the aftermath of Marvin Johnson's goal.
The Dane admitted acting in an improper manner and "using abusive and/or insulting words to a match official".
He will be absent from the dugout for Leeds United's visit in an early Championship fixture this Saturday.
Coventry City boss Mark Robins says all his players need is a little more belief in their own ability, as they look to rediscover the form that last season led to a play-off final.
Friday's visit of Wayne Rooney's Birmingham to the Coventry Building Society Arena marks the start of a key month in the Sky Blues' season.
Nine games in 36 days which will go a long way to determining their season.
But Robins' message is: "We're Coventry City. Puff our chests out and believe."
Tottenham Hotspur have rejected an approach from Swansea City for their senior assistant coach Chris Davies.
Davies is a leading candidate to succeed Michael Duff at the Championship club.
He joined Spurs in the summer as Ange Postecoglou's number two, having spent much of his career working alongside Brendan Rodgers.
Davies, 38, had been close to taking over at Swansea before Duff was appointed head coach in June.
Swansea chairman Andy Coleman is to begin meeting potential bosses this week having drawn up a shortlist of targets.
West Bromwich Albion forward Matty Phillips will be out of action for four months because of a hamstring injury, manager Carlos Corberan has said.
The 32-year-old went off just before half-time in Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Championship leaders Leicester.
Phillips has played in all West Brom's 19 league games this term, scoring three goals and making three assists.
Stoke City have sacked Alex Neil as manager following Saturday's home defeat by Championship bottom club Sheffield Wednesday.
The 42-year-old Scot spent 16 months in charge in the Potteries after leaving fellow Championship side Sunderland to join Stoke in August 2022.
He led Stoke to 16th last season, a fall from the previous two campaigns, when they had each time finished 14th.
But they have struggled this term and currently sit 20th in the table.

Jaden Philogene is to have a scan on medial knee ligament damage he sustained in Hull's 2-0 defeat at Queen's Park Rangers.
The Tigers' leading scorer limped off in the second half of the game at Loftus Road.
England under-21 international Philogene has been a key man in Hull's start to the season with six goals.
Manager Liam Rosenior said Philogene will be assessed to discover the extent of the injury.

Interesting choice from Swansea!
Leicester goalkeeper Alex Smithies has announced his retirement from football at the age of 33 due to injury.
The former Huddersfield, Cardiff and QPR shotstopper has not played for the Championship leaders since joining in August 2022.
Huddersfield Town have sacked boss Darren Moore.
The decision follows the 1-1 draw at QPR on Sunday, which left relegation-threatened Huddersfield just three points above the Championship drop zone.

Wasn't sure whether to put this in this thread or the Premier League thread, but Leicester have been charged by the Premier League for breaking spending rules during their last three seasons in the top division. If they got a deduction it might make the fight for the Top 2 a little less intense!
What's going on with Leicester at the moment? They were looking like a team that would break all kinds of Championship records, now they're in danger of having to rely on the uncertainty of the play offs to get promotion.
Leeds United topping the Championship on goal difference after being 17 points behind Leicester City on New Year's Day!
Rotherham became the first side in the English Football League to be relegated this season after a 1-0 loss at home to fellow strugglers Plymouth Argyle.
Bali Mumba's goal lit up a poor first half as the Millers' two-year stay in the Championship came to an end with five games still to play.
Rotherham keeper Viktor Johansson kept his side in it with a number of good saves while Plymouth substitute Ben Waine hit the post late on as the Pilgrims ended a six-game winless run.
Unfortunate for them, but it did feel inevitable given quite how far they are behind all the other teams in the league.
Well done to relegation-fighting Plymouth for beating title-hunting Leicester last Friday! Ipswich now top of the league (albeit with Leicester having a game in hand)
Rotherham United have reappointed Stevenage boss Steve Evans as manager after sacking Leam Richardson.
The Millers parted company with Richardson on Wednesday morning, two weeks after their relegation to League One was confirmed.
Evans led the South Yorkshire side from League Two up to the Championship in his first spell in charge between 2012 and 2015.
Interesting of Evans to leave Stevenage even though they can still qualify for the playoffs in L1!
Sheffield Wednesday captain Barry Bannan says if the club stay in the Championship this season, it still will not top the manner in which they won promotion from League One last term.
The Owls lost the first leg of their play-off semi-final against Peterborough United 4-0 but fought back to 5-5 on aggregate in the return leg and won on penalties before beating Barnsley at Wembley to return to the second tier.
Having taken until 29 October to record their first win this season, boss Danny Rohl has steered them out of the bottom three with two games remaining.
Abdul Fatawu's hat-trick helped Leicester City take a giant step towards an immediate Premier League return as they ruthlessly ended Southampton’s realistic hopes of automatic promotion.
The Foxes need to win one of their remaining two matches against Preston or Blackburn to go up, but their place in the top flight could also be sealed as early as Friday if Leeds lose at QPR.
Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle have been charged by the Football Association after four yellow cards were handed out in an altercation between players during the Potters' 3-0 Championship win on Saturday.
Two players from each side were booked in the 35th minute with the game still goalless.
The incident was sparked by a coming-together between Stoke's Million Manhoef and Argyle goalkeeper Michael Cooper, after which it is alleged that "both clubs failed to ensure their players don't behave in an improper and/or provocative way".
Hull City kept alive their Championship play-off hopes as they beat Coventry City in a furious five-goal showstopper.
But Sunday's beaten FA Cup finalists had largely themselves to blame as their own hopes of a second trip to Wembley in successive months were ended by three soft goals.
The Sky Blues gifted Jaden Philogene's first-half opener, as well as Hull substitute Noah Ohio's 78th-minute winner with his first touch - while they were also on the wrong end of a contentious penalty.
Twice the Sky Blues levelled, first through Kasey Palmer's superb free-kick and then Bobby Thomas's header but Thomas's under-hit backpass allowed Ohio to hit the winner just two minutes after leaving the bench to lift the Tigers back to within three points of sixth-placed Norwich City.
Tom Cleverley has been named the new permanent head coach of Championship club Watford.
The former England player took over as interim boss after Valerien Ismael was sacked in March.
Cleverley, 34, has lost just one of his seven matches in charge, with the Hornets safe from relegation in 15th place.
Southampton boss Russell Martin has issued an apology to supporters who travelled to Leicester after their humiliating 5-0 defeat on Tuesday.
The Saints were outclassed and are now six points adrift of the automatic promotion places with two games left and a far inferior goal difference.
"I want to apologise to the fans," Martin told BBC Radio Solent.
"We’re going to need them in the next few games to pick the lads up."
After defeat at Cardiff on Saturday and Tuesday's thrashing at the King Power Stadium, Martin's side look destined for the play-offs with a 19-goal difference between them and second-placed Leeds United.
Saints have failed to capitalise when their promotion rivals have dropped points, with only three wins in their last eight games.
Despite their disappointment in all but missing out on automatic promotion, Martin still believes his side can make it to the Premier League.
Birmingham City interim manager Gary Rowett has warned his players there is no room to "feel sorry" for themselves as they prepare for a huge clash in the Championship relegation fight against Huddersfield Town.
The Blues travel to the John Smith's Stadium two points and a place above their hosts, but both are in the bottom three with two games to play.
Rowett's side won 3-0 against Coventry City and drew 0-0 at already-relegated Rotherham United, but he said his side must be more consistent.
"The margins are so small you just haven't got time to feel sorry for yourself," he told BBC Radio WM.
"It shows the nature of the end of the season and our position that you play so well against Coventry and win, then go to Rotherham, not perform as you want or get the result you want. Four points is not enough at this stage when other teams are winning.
Queens Park Rangers boss Marti Cifuentes said his team will have to stop Leeds United's "X-factor" forwards to win their final home game of the season and secure Championship survival.
The Hoops host promotion-chasing Leeds at Loftus Road on Friday night knowing three points would guarantee their safety with one game to spare.
Cifuentes replaced Gareth Ainsworth as head coach with the Rs second from bottom and with eight points from their first 14 games.
The former Hammarby boss has steered the west London club out of the drop zone and four points clear with two games remaining and wants to give the fans a chance to celebrate at their home ground.
"They (Leeds) have a lot of talent in their team, young players with X factor," Cifuentes said.
"We know that if we want to get something from this game we have to deliver our best performance otherwise there's not chance for us."
Norwich manager David Wagner is thrilled the Canaries are flying towards the Championship play-offs under the radar.
City could seal a top-six place against Swansea at Carrow Road on Saturday, and a trip to lowly Birmingham follows on the final day.
With most sides having two games to play, City could yet face any of the top four in a potential play-off semi-final, while Hull or even Coventry could provide their opposition, should several results go perfectly for them.
“It is an interesting situation,” Wagner told BBC Radio Norfolk. “I really like our position - nobody is really speaking about us.
“Everyone is speaking about catching us or even West Brom [ahead of City on goal difference], but nobody speaks about us. It’s all good.”
Blackburn Rovers defender Scott Wharton is expected to miss the majority of next season after suffering a serious knee injury.
The 26-year-old fell awkwardly late on in Sunday's 3-1 home defeat by fellow Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday.
Wharton, the older brother of Crystal Palace midfielder Adam, made 34 appearances in all competitions for Rovers this campaign.
Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior wants a change in the rules after having to watch his team's crucial Championship win at Coventry City from the stands on Wednesday.
Rosenior picked up his third caution of the season at Watford on Saturday, leading to a touchline ban.
However, he is appealing for "common sense" from the authorities after apparently being exonerated in the aftermath of the 0-0 draw.
“A report came from the head of the referees association saying I should not have been booked, but there is no right of appeal,” he told BBC Radio Humberside.
Leicester City have been promoted to the Premier League after Leeds United were thumped by Queens Park Rangers.
The 4-0 defeat at Loftus Road means Daniel Farke's side stay four points behind Championship leaders Leicester with only one game left.
The Foxes remain on track to amass 100 points on their way back to the top flight following their relegation last season.
Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 up vs West Brom
Danny Rohl has done some job with them.
A massive 2-1 win away at Coventry for Ipswich Town today means that they only need a draw at home to all-but-relegated Huddersfield Town on Saturday to guarantee their return to the Premier League after 22 years.
Some achievement back to back promotions for McKenna if he can do it!
A nightmare end to the season for Leeds with the QPR result - although I won't be too annoyed if Ipswich go up as I do enjoy seeing newer faces in the Premier League.
Ipswich are up! Leeds will have to go through the playoffs.
Forgot to mention I enjoyed the irony of John Eustace putting Birmingham down after they sacked him in the first part of the season to get a big name on in Wayne Rooney! Good old US owners!!
Leeds v Southampton in the playoff final on Sunday then. Let’s see who takes it!
Think Southampton might create a shock!
Leeds will win the match I think. Whatever the result next season we're guaranteed to have a near symmetrical line up of Premier League teams from the 2022-23 season. Ipswich being the only odd team out.
Good luck Leeds United for tomorrow.
Hoping for a Leeds victory tomorrow considering my northern ancestry. Plus I used to pass through Leeds railway station on my way to see family further north. Those are the only things swaying me for tomorrow's Play-off final.
With the match about to begin gonna predict a 3-2 Leeds win!
Southampton bounce straight back to the Premier League after a pretty comfortable 1-0 win over Leeds United in the play-off final.
Didn’t think they’d do it but fair play, Russell Martin for me has underachieved this season compared to the top 2 but that’s an obvious statement. Maybe they’ll do best out of the promoter teams who knows. Just think he lacks pragmatism!
Both managers were at Norwich as well. Russell Martin was a player down here and Daniel Farke was the last manager Martin served under.
Ah well! The last time we lost in the playoffs we won the league the next season so hopefully there'll be a repeat there.
Problem this time is it’ll be the dreaded 2nd season in the championship when a lot of the old guard will leave or be sold to cut costs!
Just saw Liam Rosinior has been sacked by Hull??? What are they on, they were fighting relegation before him and this season were battling for the playoffs on a modest budget.
That's one of the decisions that could end up biting the board at the football club on the bum...
