This looks like it'll be a pretty big hit! After only releasing yesterday, London musician Artemas' new single 'i like the way you kiss me' debuted at #74 on the UK Spotify chart. Another one of his 'if u think i'm pretty' is currently at #71 on the Official Chart.
I'm finding a little annoying on first listen, but hopefully it'll grow.

i am obsessed with this! such a brill wee track, wonder if this could be the next #1 at the rate its growing at! the best thing from him ive heard, some of the other tracks are alright but this is on another level, much better !

Love this, it’s quite the earworm of a chorus. Sounds huge so not surprised at the big start for it.

seeing what the fuss is about after its very quick chart ascent and oh I wasn't expecting this to be a 'The Perfect Girl' ripoff, pleasantly surprised it's not another random folk ballad

I hear a slightly poppier version of ThxSoMch's 'SPIT IN MY FACE!' in it. It's a shame that song never quite made the Top 40 last year.

How did this enter so high on Spotify is there hype around them or something? Also, not sure if this isn’t dance or pop on first listen. It’s great though sounds like a huge ‘Blinding Lights’ type hit!

I don't see any comments on the official video mentioning someone named 'Kaeleigh'. What video are you seeing them on?
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the chorus is just Artemas pitched up.

It was on the 'burnt' video and the official video but looks like someone's been in and tidied things up. I saw them the other day.
And yes that would make more sense.

First time I heard this track it felt like southstar a bit to me somehow, so it's not altogether surprising to see that as the lead remix!

Yeah it does remind me of southstar - Miss You a bit although different genres. I think its because they are both cool sounding TikTok dance-orientated hits and different to what usually makes the charts.

This seems likely to be the ROSES of 2024, an unexpected hit from a previously unknown artist scoring a huge hit which sounds absolutely nothing like the rest of the current chart.

^agreed. It's a close one against DJ Marlon Hoffstadt's. Southstar's was quite disappointing imo.
