At #81 on the Apple chart currently, this new single from London folk musician Myles Smith is gorgeous
The "oohs" do sound a bit like Marshmello & Bastille's 'Happier' though
Fantastic to see this debut at #15 on Spotify today!
Liking this on first listen!
Fantastic to see this at #12 in the midweek chart, looks like it'll be a big hit!
This has to be one of the most basic, reductive songs I've ever heard.
Now up to #9 - and on the Radio X playlist.
Great to see this still climbing up the Top 10 - reaching a new peak of #4 this week.
Every time I hear this I think he's impersonating George Ezra (and badly)
Honestly I didn’t like this at all but something about hearing songs on the radio back in my home country Slovakia… it’s growing on me. Same as I don’t wanna wait. Hearing the songs on the radio over here is making them grow on me lolllll
Given there isn't too much positivity in this thread I'll chip in and say this is one of my favourite songs to make the UK Chart this year! A really positive song with great vocals and instrumentation. And very glad he's been representing the UK in the Top 10 over the past few weeks.
That's too much positivity. This is bland garbagio. Bye x

OMG I just discovered Myles Smith is black and it's really thrown me! From his name and his voice, I just assumed he was another one of these up and coming white male singer/songwriters! Takes me back to when I discovered Teddy Swims wasn't black it's pretty cool to have people who look nothing like you'd expect them to look based on their sound!
ohhhh same then for me, I kinda imagined him ala Benson Boone for some reason
hahaha and I also thought Teddy Swims was black, was imagining someone ala Cee Lo Green
One of the worst top 10 singles of the decade, pure garbage.
This sounds like one of the Avicii - True leftovers, but the quite decent one.
Thus, I enjoyed the big room house bootleg more:
