If I had to put myself forward with one artist to watch for 2020 in the world of dance music, it would be TSHA. She is an electronic producer from the UK and has had a couple of releases this year already with 'Moon' and 'Me You' (and some singles in 2018 too), with some specialist playlist support across all of the major streaming platforms. Her debut EP 'Moonlight' was released in November.
She’s done some fab remixes too
Ooh new remixes
Some new stuff today called Flowers which is taken from the Sister EP out 16th Oct. It’ll even feature a collab with Gabrielle Aplin!
I'm really enjoying “Sister” at the moment, definitely a grower!
Love the story behind it too:
'Change' featuring vocals from Gabrielle Aplin is out this week
Full EP is out this week including the two remaining tracks 'Renegade' and 'Demba'
Change is the BBC Introducing track of the week on Radio 1's playlist from today
I’m loving this EP, Renegade is good but the only one I’m not totally on board with, the rest is fantastic.
Also loving the new remix of Lianne La Havas’ Can’t Fight too
Thought the other songs from this EP were solid too but 'Demba' is (unsurprisingly) definitely the one for me African infused dance music just doesn't miss.
New single feat. Nimmo out now on Ninja Tune
OnlyL
'Power' is out this week. Quite liking this one!
'I Know' completes the EP this week
I Know is lush Queen gave us a fantastic EP
Power Floorplan remix out now
New single BOYZ is out now
Better than Jesy Nelson. Amazing.
BOYZ added to 6 Music's playlist today!
New single Giving Up out now. It sounds MASSIVE whew!
Stunning *.* possibly one of her best and that's only from one listen
Debut album is called Capricorn Sun and will be out on October 7th.
1. Galdem (Intro)
2. The Light
3. OnlyL (feat. NIMMO)
4. Water (feat. Oumou Sangaré)
5. Dancing In The Shadows (feat. Clementine Douglas)
6. Giving Up (feat. Mafro)
7. Anxious Mind (feat. Clementine Douglas)
8. Time
9. Power
10. Running
11. Sister
12. Nala (Outro)
A bit disappointing that two year old songs are being included like Sister which sounds nothing like Giving Up. Clementine becoming the new go-to dance vocalist it seems.
Giving Up has been added to Radio 1's playlist today
Yaaaass! The new main pop gal
Also added to 6 Music's playlist this week.
Water is out now
Water is just stunning The lush, intricate electronics with the African language vocals *.*
Dancing In The Shadows featuring queen of dance music Clementine Douglas out now *.*
Dancing In The Shadows is insanely good The production is next level and Clementine served vocals HELP
Track 6 on NMF. Think this could have more mainstream appeal than Giving Up. It sounds huge!
Coming in to say what stomper Dancing In The Shadows is
Dancing In The Shadows is Greg James Tune of the week, yay!
Running out now
It reminds me a bit of Binary Finary's 1998
Dancing In The Shadows added to Radio 1's playlist
I'm finding Running a bit meh.
Oop at there only being 3 songs left to hear from the album (excluding the intro and outro)
Capricorn Sun out now
Anxious Mind is THAT BANGER
Obsessed with ‘Anxious Mind’
The new songs are meh. The vocals in The Light are actually painful to listen to. I couldn't make it through the whole song
Sister music video
An odd song to give a video to? Is it a single now even though it feels really old?
Already posted over in pop but we're getting new music on Thursday. Somebody with Ellie Goulding and Gregory Porter is on its way
The brilliant Trance Wax remix of Somebody which has been played on Radio 1 a few times on Friday nights is now available
Sweet Devotion is out on Monday and will premiere as Hottest Record on Radio 1
Another incredible song from her:
