For discussion of the new release schedule as well as a place to drop any new releases that aren't noteworthy enough to warrant having their own thread.
Let's also use this thread for any new remixes and alternate versions of existing songs.
Spotify's dance-focused version of New Music Friday, for reference:
2023 Collaborative Spotify Playlists (Feel free to add any additional finds to these playlists);
Thanks Dan, ever the most reliable Dance moderator (sorry Lewis).
Is there anything you need me to post for this year? Should I make new Spotify playlists for 2023 which myself, JOTA and Cow Cow occasionally add covers, remixes and acoustics to?
I think just the one thread will do this time Wardy so just put them in here
Some (minor) future releases
Young Marco - What You Say? (out 13/01/2023 Ministry of Sound)
ESSEL - Lennon (06/01/2023 Toolroom)
James Hurr, Leftwing:Kody - Music is the medication (13/01/2023 Toolroom)
Majestic, Karen Harding - Sweat (06/01/2023 Get Together
Can't add to the Acoustic one as it's not collaborative boo
Thank you for these! Will definitely be following each.
This is being discussed in the Madonna forum, but this remix of Sorry is out today and it’s great.
What in the Calvin Harris feat. Charlie Puth - Funk Wav Bounce is this?
a little valentines day present from Leaving Laurel, who you may recall from my Club Bizarre entry 'Winter In The Woods' - it is Gordon's first new material as a soloist keeping the name of the former duo (Pierce having sadly died before the debut album's release)
out tomorrow. Tune!
Layo & Bushwacka! - Love Story (vs Finally) - Paul Woolford 2023 Remix
Well, I can't hold up much longer. I honestly wanted Sefa to have his own thread when I learnt that his remix of "Get It Crackin'" performed impressively at CB. I hope it's fine for the dance mods.
To strengthen my reasoning, he recently was nominated at a Dutch award this year:
Not a fan of the new Weird Genius release, but it sounds like someone would send it to BJSC (yes, please)
A bizarre dance track associated with horse racing:
Factor B's "Connection" gets a classic trance touch by Lostly. Sounds quite interesting:
W&W and Harris & Ford have done a banging re-make of Clubland classic "Tricky Disco"
Did Suae and Technikore (UK hardcore side of Technikal) just sample Naruto Shippuden's iconic opening?
Steve Hill and Technikal covered Roger Sanchez's #1 hit:
A new raw-euphoric hardstyle album by Phuture Noize, in case u wanna give a listen. His productions sound so authentic and I always think he's different from other hs producers.
NURKO collaborated with NERIAH, which you might remember from her recent BJSC entry, Lego Blocks. However, this one is a much better one from her:
D-Frek made a frenchcore version of Don't Worry by Madcon & Ray Dalton:
Wow, it's been years since I listened to the original...
Ever seen CloudNone's name on BJSC song lists, so here's the recent album by him called Almost Weightless, which was out Friday.
I doubt Uhsting loves this, but I do!
New song from my own BJSC entry duo DBSTF:
New remix of an old hardcore / gabber song titled Come As One by G-Town Madness & The Viper is out tomorrow!
I present to you the longest Spinnin' Records' longest title:
It means "Cattle marking and beef labeling supervision duties delegation law".
what do we make of this re-do of Everytime We Touch that is top 40 on iTunes then?
Listened to it earlier and the only 'TEKKNO' part was the 10 second bit in the middle but that aside it's a decent enough cover. We Got The Moves will forever remain my favourite track from them though.
TEKKNO was the name of their most recent album so I guess it's them trying to make that a descriptor of their style of music
it's actually a rather good cover anyhow though I imagine its novelty will wear off before long
^ Ah yes. I've also seen Tekkno used for an array of covers/remixes of well-known tracks by lesser known DJs and producers and assumed that was what they were referring to here too
1527 will be Sefa's next release. It's an ID taken from Defqon.1 Endshow last weekend!

I don't think Buzzjack cares about John Newman enough anymore for this to have its own thread but I've heard this on Radio 1 and it's a bit of a thumper
sending early hype to the upcoming collaboration by Turkish producer Ummet Ozcan and BJSC runner-up sensation Otyken.
Some of you might be familiar with Ummet Ozcan, who appeared on the iTunes chart for several days a couple months ago with his viral techno tune Xanadu.

They didn't tag Jax Jones' Spotify channel in the song though.
some recent covers / samples
Bandit x Belfort – Jenny (Heaven Can You Hear Me) (Paul Woolford Remix) out this friday
out today a new edit produced by Alex Metric with vocals by Jem Cooke
Been waiting for this tune to be released since XiJaro & Pitch played it at an ASOT show. Una Tantum Vita by Damus and Lyd14 is out tomorrow!
Released yesterday. Is it the same chorus as the recent song by goddard. and Cat Burns?
It means they both used the same vocal packs.
It's a common case, similar to Shane Codd's Get Out My Head, Zerb's Mwaki, and Bad Boy Chiller Crew's Don't You Worry About Me.
I actually made some compilations related to this situation 2 years ago, if interested (I really want to make Part 4, but I'm so lazy):
New single alongside Burns out 02/02 via Armada. The preview sounds delicious

Don't think anyone needs a Craig Connelly / Cari thread yet, but OMG what a collab this is! Surely a DanG / Cow P Future Favorite.
It's not out in the UK yet but I am so hyped for Craig Connelly x Cari, as with TheFatRat x Laura Brehm who also release tomorrow - it's going to be a proper battle between them for taking the #1 spot on Thermo's hot hits presumably.
that Craig Connelly track is very good as expected!

TheFatRat x Laura Brehm - Sail Away

Oppidan - Mr Sandman
Charlotte de Witte reworks 1998 trance anthem 'Universal Nation'

It looks like Bøtanikkä and Yehesi are cooking a lot this week with the release of a new version of their Leila K entry Open Seasame reworked by Maddix:
Ohhhh, this is so oldschool eurodance for a newschool label Rave Culture and newcomers like AXMO!
Belgian DnB producer Murdock released his 2nd studio album X-Ray last week. It includes my personal favorite track Reign with Sena Dagadu:
Discovered this trance remix from last week's release and it sounds quite Fix You-esque. Definitely a worth listening:
Yeah, I've heard that some of house releases at Monstercat were mid borderline bad, but this one from last week by No Mana and SOFI surely isn't one of them:
