Is this the first time David has worked with these guys? Or am I forgetting something obvious?

The clip certainly sounds like its going to be catchy and its already in my head. Bit of a shame he keeps needing to sampling old dance tracks though.

Cue Aly entering the thread to say what we are all thinking about this sample prospect…

OneRepublic singing O-Zone 😐 another thing on no bingo card lol.

David needs to stop with the samples but yeah this is going to be massive!

I thought "nah f*** off" before clicking on the preview and now it's going to be stuck in my head all day. I think it'll do really well

This reminds me that it's been a year since Guetta premiered BDHM. Ultra Music Festival him hasn't really changed.
Surely he's already preparing another European dance hit sample for next year's Ultra Miami. Let's see, Miracle (either Fragma or Cascada)? How Much Is the Fish (Son ar Chistr)? The Riddle? Bla Bla Bla? Daddy DJ? Kylie (Dragoste de inchiriat)?

Yeah I definitely think Toca's Miracle is in line to be covered/sampled soon. For Cascada Everytime We Touch is the more likely candidate to be covered/sampled. Now You're Gone by Basshunter is another one that will probably be covered/sampled soon.

David Puentez & Inna have recently sampled that Cascada song

I'm surprised Guetta hasn't had his mits on Toca's Miracle yet.

Also is it just me or is there quite a resemblance between Guetta and Ryan Tedder lmao?

This is very catchy but it’s a bit on the short side. A middle eight and a final chorus would have made it better.

FFS. No song is safe from Guetta's evil clutches. Having said that... I really want to hate this, but I love it.

I definitely can see this becoming a Top 10 hit. I'll see you when it reached there, or maybe after Alesso remixes this and getting called the good 'ol days of golden era!

S.T.O.P on Listen had Ryan Tedder as a vocalist which I think counts, plus I wouldn’t be surprised if Ryan’s been involved in writing other Guetta songs at least those from the early 2010s
Edit: On a quick search I actually found none besides S.T.O.P

Now why would you be so gullible to think that Dobbo? This is David Guetta we are talking about.

Indeed, it just makes you think how far it'll go. Sampling the National Anthem within 5 years...

S.T.O.P was actually really good! Unlike this...

#36 today!

Heard this the other day and meh, bound to be top 10!
Posted by: Dexton 12th April 2024, 04:40 PM
This is growing on me a lot tbh. Yes it’s another pointless sample but it’s possibly Guetta’s least obvious one of recent years, no?
I mean, the original has a VERY distinct hook that I’d imagine pretty much everyone knows. Even if they don’t know it from the original song itself lol. It could’ve been David Guetta & One Republic - Ma Ya Hi after all

Enters the chart at #37 today which is a good start

Of course fellow Golden Era producers are more invested in remixing bad remakes like this.
What does it mean? Hardwell & Olly James Remix (Rave Room Music) is out this Friday.
