Chase & Status, Hedex & ArrDee have been dethroned this week! Thanks to a major album bomb from Drake and a fantastic remix record from Paramore the chart gets shaken up a bit this week. Congratulations to Drake & J. Cole who score their first ever #1s on my chart with 'First Person Shooter', Drake has a further 9 entries on my chart today whilst J. Cole also has another entry at #35 with his Lil Yachty collab 'The Secret Recipe'. Paramore have to settle for the #2 spot with the stunning Julian Baker remix of 'Thick Skull'. However, Paramore score a further 4 entries including my #3 song this week 'C'est Comme Ca' which I wasn't too keen on when it first released earlier this year but Wet Leg have made it into their own fun song and in doing so have turned it into a banger! You can most certainly expect to see more material from Julian in my chart next week as Boygenius have dropped a new fantastic EP today!!! James Blake's newest album 'Playing Robots Into Heaven' has been on constant rotation since it dropped last month and 'Fall Back' makes a grand debut at #6 this week! PinkPantheress announced her debut album yesterday and 'Mosquito' makes a bit of a belated entry into my chart this week at #10.

After having to settle for the #2 spot last week, Paramore & Julian Baker have clinched this week's #1 with Julian's remix of 'Thick Skull'! The song is part of Paramore's recent remix album 'Re: This Is Why', the album also has an additional three entries on my chart today. Paramore & Julian dethrone 'First Person Shooter' by Drake & J. Cole which falls to a respectable #4 this week, Drake also still manages to hold onto his album bomb this week with five additional entries including 'Tried Our Best' and 'Daylight' at #7 and #10 respectively. James Blake's 'Fall Back' may challenge for #1 next week as it climbs up to #2 this week with a very small margin of streams separating it from the top spot. Bad Bunny dropped his album last Friday which is full of bangers! 'MONACO' becomes his highest charting song ever at #3 this week. Troye Sivan also dropped a fantastic album last week which prompts 'One Of Your Girls' to make a top 5 debut and three other songs to enter for the first time/re-enter. It looked like JID & Lil Yachty's 'Van Goph' could had peaked at the horrific position of #11 last week but instead they make a big jump of nine spots to rise into the top 10 for the first time!

There have now been four different chart-toppers in four weeks as James Blake has clinched the #1 on my chart this week with his sublime electronic album track 'Fall Back'! The song rose to a new peak of #2 last week and it may have some competition at the top next week from another James Blake song 'Loading' which climbs a whopping 25 places today. 070 Shake's 'Black Dress' finally cracks the top 10 after spending two weeks between #11 and #20 which pushes Bad Bunny's 'MONACO' down two places today. The only fantastic song from Blink 182's otherwise unappealing new record debuts straight in at #7 as the highest debut of the week! Rising star Barry Can't Swim also debuts at #10 today with 'Always Get Through To You' from his new album 'When Will We Land?'.

Noah Kahan debuts straight in at #1 this week with his beautiful 2022 folk-pop single 'Stick Season' which is also the lead single and title track of his 3rd studio album. The track has finally clicked for me over the last week with it also charting in the top 10 in the UK singles chart right now! Last week's chart-topper 'Fall Back' by James Blake slips one place to #2 this week with another track of his, 'Loading' holding strong at #3. My PFSC entry 'Little Lies' by Mareux debuts at #4 and my current BJSC entry 'Destroyer Of Worlds' manages to climb up to #7 this week. The latest track from Chase & Status' upcoming album '2Ruff Vol. 1' also makes a top 10 debut and Alan Palomo bags a 2nd top 10 hit with his Mac DeMarco collaboration 'Nudista Mundial '89'.

Noah Kahan is dethroned this week by the return of one of the greatest bands the world has ever seen, The Beatles. Their final song 'Now And Then' was released last Thursday which meant that it charted at #30 on less than half a day of streams. It was inevitable that the track would climb a huge amount of places. Beatlemania strikes across the chart this week including the hugely underrated 'Free As A Bird' from 'Anthology' rising to #6. Noah Kahan does fall to #2 this week but several other songs make gains or debut on the chart this week. These songs include 'She Calls Me Back' which was recently reworked into a duet with Kacey Musgraves. Noah has a duet version of 'Northern Attitude' out this week with Hozier so except that track to make some gains next week. Mareux hits a new peak with 'Little Lies' and there are also new peaks for former Abeltesfayeton BJSC entrants Alan Palomo and Aaron Hibell in the top 5.

Noah Kahan's 'Stick Season' becomes the first song to ever get more than one week at the summit of my chart as it returns to the top today! 'Stick Season' dethrones last week's #1 'Now And Then' which slips to #7 this week. Not far behind Kahan is 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne's 'Long Story Short' at #2 which is surprisingly a banger considering how bad some of both artists' work has been over the last few years. 070 Shake's new ethereal rap rock tune 'Natural Habitat' also hits the top 3 this week. The song features Ken Carson who I thought only made bad songs until I heard this masterpiece! The Kid LAROI's opener to his debut album and Dua Lipa's comeback single also crack the top 5 this week. Noah Kahan's 'Northern Attitude' got the duet treatment from Hozier which launches it into the top 10 this week. Peggy Gou's collab with Lenny Kravitz and PinkPantheress' Central Cee collab also hit the top 10 this week

They were also challenged this week by 070 Shake's latest rap-rock banger, 'Natural Habitat' (featuring Ken Carson of all artists) which rises to a new peak of #2 this week. Last week's #1 'Stick Season' slides to #6 this week which makes way for many new peaks for songs including The Kid LAROI's 'SORRY', JID's 'Surround Sound and Lil Durk's 'Smurk Carter'. After two weeks of climbs, 070 Shake and Ken Carson have finally hit the top spot with 'Natural Habitat'! Last week's #1 'Long Story Short' slips to #4 this week which allows Mareux's 'Little Lies' and JID's 'Surround Sound' to both climb to new peaks in the top 3. The former was a PFSC entry from me which I have grown to adore, the latter is a fantastic single from JID that was released in early 2022 but has recently gone viral on TikTok. There are also new peaks in the top 10 this week for collaborations between PinkPantheress & Central Cee, The Weeknd X JENNIE & Lilly Rose Depp and Chase & Status X Stefflon Don.

Lana Del Rey's haunting cover of John Denver's classic 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' debuts in at #1 today! Lana did face some tough competition from another debut this week which is a new fantastic collaboration between producer and most famously Abeltesfayeton alumni KAYTRANADA & Canadian vocalist Rochelle Jordan. There are another two debuts in the top 10, the first being a new banger from Shygirl and Cosha and the second being another reworked 'Stick Season' era duet from Noah Kahan, this time teaming up with Gracie Abrams. After its debut several weeks ago Drake's '8am In Charlotte' has finally hit a new peak in the top 10 after having a bit of a 2nd wind on my chart. This means that Drake now has two top 10 songs in my chart that were produced by Conducta Williams, here's hoping they have some more collaborations up their sleeve!

It becomes both artists' 1st #1 singles although I can imagine that if my chart had been running for a while now that they would both have #1 singles in the form of 'Delilah' or 'Rumble' for the former and 'Family Ties' for the latter. This means that KAYTRANADA and Rochelle Jordan are stuck at #2 for a 2nd week running but could they contend for the Christmas #1 next week? Nicki Minaj lands an album bomb thanks to her new album 'Pink Friday 2'. The highest song this week from the album is the J. Cole collab 'Let Me Calm Down'. The new songs from The Killers and Lyrical Lemonade also debut in the top 10 this week. Perhaps the most interesting appearance in my chart come from Queens Of The Stone Age this week with their classic track 'Go With The Flow' which makes a surprise appearance due to Fortnite

There are also new peaks for The Weeknd's JENNIE & Lily Rose Depp collaboration and Lyrical Lemonade's Jack Harlow & Dave collaboration as well. Juice WRLD's newest posthumous release which features Eminem is this week's highest new entry. I haven't been that keen on some of his recent posthumous releases but this one is a banger and Eminem also has a decent verse (which is quite rare for him these days).

That means that AJ Tracey's comeback single 'Wifey Riddim 4' is just held off #1 this week, could it rise to the top next week? Hip-hop collaborations from Jack Harlow and Dave, Juice WRLD X Eminem and Nicki Minaj X 50 Cent all score new peaks in the top 10 this week. Everything Everything's lead single 'Cold Reactor' to their upcoming studio album also hits the top 10 for the 1st time today. The queen of pop is back and her comeback single is certainly not flopping on my chart! Yes, Ariana Grande made her return last Friday with 'yes, and' which goes straight in at #1 today despite some close competition from Everything Everything who rise to #2 this week with 'Cold Reactor'. 21 Savage also drops a significant album bomb this week meaning that he has three spots in the top 10: 'redrum' at #4, Travis Scott & Metro Boomin collab 'née-nah' at #8 and Doja Cat collab 'n.h.i.e.' at #10 (coincidentally the exact same three that charted in the UK ). There is also a big debut for Lil Nas X's comeback single 'J CHRIST' which stirred up quite a bit of controversy lately (I'm a Christian but I don't even see what is really that offensive tbh) but I still think it is a decent song (albeit a rip-off of Kendrick Lamar's 'HUMBLE' ).

Justice's Tame Impala collaboration has been knocked off of #1 after one week at the top... Only to be replaced by another Tame Impala collaboration, this time with Don Toliver on 'Bandit'. This trappy banger features a sample of the 7 minute outro of Tame Impala's latest album 'The Slow Rush', 'One More Hour'. It becomes Don's 1st #1 (although 'After Party' may well have topped this chart - possibly 'Lemonade' and 'No Idea' as well..). You could argue that Tame Impala now has the most #1s on my chart (only two) as his music is featured in 'Bandit' despite not being credited. Hype is also gathering for Everything Everything's upcoming album 'Mountainhead' which is out in two weeks! Lil Yachty's cosy rap track 'A Cold Sunday' becomes his 1st top 5 hit on my chart this week following news of a potential James Blake collab album I didn't like most of 'VULTURES 1' and I unsurprisingly found a lot of the content to be pretty offensive but 'TALKING' is a banger and it enters my chart at #8 this week. The fact that Kanye barely speaks on this song certainly helps, Ty's part is awesome and Kanye's daughter North has a fun part at the start as well. North becomes the 2nd child rapper to enter my chart's top 10 following Adonis Graham's feature on Drake's 'Daylight' back in October. The latest bop from Kali Uchis's new album also hits the top 10 today. And finally, The 1975's classic single 'If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)' following their INCREDIBLE show at the O2 arena earlier this week. That concert is easily the best I've ever been to for several reasons and I've just been waiting for ages to find an excuse to chart this I also saw Noah Kahan last week although I expect he'll have a larger impact on my chart next week!

Abeltesfayeton's (the country that I proudly represent) entry for this contest is the aboslute bop that is 'Crimson' by Mancunian producer, singer and above all, QUEEN Hunnygloss. The track enters right it at the top (as it should x) ironically stealing the title off of Don Toliver's 'Bandit'. ¥$'s North West (alternatively known as Miss Westie) collab 'TALKING' hits a new peak in the top 5 today alongside Declan McKenna's brilliant 'Mulholland's Dinner And Wine'. The beautiful new duet version of Noah Kahan's 'Paul Revere' with Gregory Alan Isakov also hit the top 10 for the first time today at #7! Vampire Weekend also made a comeback last week with the stunning 'Capricorn' getting a high top 10 debut in my chart, the other song they released titled 'Gen-X Corps' also makes the top 40 today!

SZA's stunning comeback single 'Saturn' is an instant #1 on my chart this week! The song is the first new solo material from SZA since her massive late 2022 released sophomore record 'SOS'. That album has proven to become one of my favourite albums of this decade so far and I would even go far enough to say that the record is easily one of my favourite R&B albums ever. 'Saturn' really does feel like a follow-up to SZA's ethereal 2020 single 'Good Days'. Elsewhere, Noah Kahan bags his highest charting single since 'Stick Season' thanks to the duet version of 'Paul Revere' with Gregory Alan Isakov. Vampire Weekend also make a slow move up the top 10 with the breathtaking soundscape that is 'Capricorn'. Shygirl also gets her 3rd top 10 hit from her flawless 'Club Shy' era with 'mute'. Finally, Caroline Polachek scores her first top 10 hit in my chart thanks to the incredible 'Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry In The Mouth'!

Twenty-One Pilots manage to overcome both Fred Again.. + friends and a huge Ariana Grande album bomb to get a 2nd week at #1 'Overcompensate' remains at #1 for another weeks thanks to some high streams, the gap was very close between the top three tho! The highest debut of Grande's gargantuan album bomb comes in the form of 'bye' which has seemed to have split the forum, It's one of the best songs of the album idc what you think Ari also gets two other top 10 debuts with the underrated gem 'imperfect for you' and the bop that everyone agrees should be the next UK #1, 'we can't be friends (wait for your love)'. The latter always felt like it was going to be a hit when I first saw the title of the song in February, brackets typically suggest that a song is intended to be a hit. The first single from Charli XCX's upcoming album 'brat' (the infectious 'Von dutch') is also on the rise this week hitting a new peak of #6. Finally, Justice have served us with another incredible single from their upcoming album 'Hyperdrama', meaning that 'Incognito' debuts in the top 10 this week.

Vampire Weekend have broken a record on my chart today, becoming the first ever artists to occupy all of the top three positions here This means that 'Capricorn' stays at the top for a third week (subsequently becoming my joint longest ever #1 single) and pre-album singles 'Mary Boone' & 'Classical' rise to new peaks of #2 and #3 respectively. Vampire Weekend manage to land a whopping NINE entries (poor, brave 'Pravda being the only song from 'Only God Was Above Us' not charting). Olivia Rodrigo also succeeds in a week dominated by Ezra Koenig + co by scoring her first top 10 single here with the irresistible 'so american'!

Justice make a huge climb to finally claim their 2nd #1 on my chart with the massive banger that is 'Incognito' The song instantly blew me away when I first heard it (like most of the songs from Justice's era so far tbh), here's hoping 'Hyperdrama' will be just as brilliant! Vampire Weekend manage to sustain their album bomb for a 2nd week, with 'Connect' now hitting a new peak in the top 3. Doja Cat's A$AP Rocky collab 'URGE!!!!!!!!!!' also lands itself in the top 5 this week following the release of 'Scarlet 2 CLAUDE' (or rather me getting around to listening to it ). Another eluxe track getting a new peak is Olivia Rodrigo's 'so american'. There are two new debuts in the top 10 this week: the title track from Future & Metro Boomin's (+ The Weeknd) latest LP lands at #8 & Dua Lipa's 'Illusion' flops its way to #9.

'Running', taken from their upcoming debut album 'WOOF' debuts at #2 this week marking their highest ever peaking song on my chart. Taylor Swift certainly chose the right focus track for 'The Tortured Poets Department' as 'Fortnight' featuring Post Malone reaches a new peak at #5 this week. Despite only being released on Tuesday, Kendrick Lamar's fiery and masterful Drake diss track 'euphoria' debuts outside of the top 10. Could it rise to #1 next week?

Kendrick also scores a new entry at #6 this week with what is possibly the harshest diss track of all time (excluding 'BBL Drizzy') titled 'meet the grahams'. Tommy Richman may be shuffling his way to the UK top 5 next week but alas, he already has a top 5 single here! There really is no stopping Tommy Richman right now on my chart, he bags a huge 3rd week at the top this week The 'Clancy' effect is in full swing this week, rocketing former #1 'Overcompensate' back into the top 3 this week and debuting 'Midwest Indigo' right into the top 10. There is also a huge impact for Bring Me The Horizon thanks to their incredible new album 'POST HUMAN: NeX GEn'. 'AmEN!' which was released last June finally debuts in my chart at #4. A Brent Faiyaz x Tommy Richman and FELIX! banger from the former's latest mixtape 'Larger Than Life' climbs into the top 10 this week, as does Macklemore's fantastic pro-Palestinian protest track 'Hind's Hall'.

Tommy Richman has been dethroned after three triumphant weeks on top. The new monarchs of my chart are Bring Me The Horizon, Lil Uzi Vert and Daryl Palumbo thanks to the incredible 'AmEN!' (the actually celebrated it's 1st year anniversary earlier this week). BMTH narrowly missed out their first #1 back in January with 'Kool-Aid' which climbs up the top 20 today after a high re-entry. Twenty One Pilots score two new peaks in the top 10 today thanks to 'Clancy' album tracks 'Midwest Indigo' and 'Vignette'. Charli xcx and Brent Faiyaz also claim new peaks within the top 10 today. Bring Me The Horizon manage to deny yet another track from hitting #1 this week This week it's Don Toliver's stellar 'KRYPTONITE' which falls just short of the top spot. The track is the opener to his fantastic new album 'HARDSTONE PSYCHO'. While one Tommy Richman song (or rather a feature) may be leaving the top 10 this week, he scores a top 10 debut with his new banger 'DEVIL IS A LIE' in return! Track's from Charli xcx's instant classic 'BRAT' have a strong hold this week, with 'Apple' gliding into the top 10 for the first week. Lastly, viral sensations Joey Valence & Brae land a few debuts including the fantastic 'PACKAPUNCH' with Danny Brown in the top 10 this week. Their new record 'NO HANDS' has become my favourite hip-hop album of 2024 to date and I'm sure more tracks will climb/debut here next week.

Travis Scott's decade-old collaboration with The 1975 and Big Sean also edges closer to the top spot this week. Additionally, the wonderful Magdalena Bay shoot into the top five this week with 'Imaginal Disc' album track 'Cry For Me'!
