This will be interesting, I use to love Nicki for her first two eras and my interest has steadily declined. I’ll still check this out though.

This will absolutely bomb I imagine and as much as a controversial person she is, she is the most talented female rapper in the game so I'm interested to hear it!

I think you’re right.

Was there a turning point when people lost interest in her? It surprises me that she went from being pretty big to irrelevant in what seems like a short space of time.

I think it was her being too anti Cardi putting people off and then she has been involved in some questionable things to say the least which are hard for even the biggest fans to support.

"Queen" was actually a decent album and I don't necessarily think it's the material, I think it's more her as a person.

Ah cool thanks.

I must’ve been living under a rock, I’m unaware of these questionable things.

Posted by: dannjohn 13th May 2021, 08:55 AM

oh this is one of her many promo singles that lead an album that gets forgotten about.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 13th May 2021, 10:40 AM

Also to me, she also seemed to pretty much completely disappear between 2014-2018 which is quite a long time to be off the radar.

Posted by: Warwick Avenue 13th May 2021, 11:02 AM

I didn’t realise the gap was 4 years. I was sure she released in between then.

Did we expect a whole damn album *.*

Really takes me back, I had this on repeat in 2009 heart.gif

Great to have some new tracks too, seems a bit odd to add them to this though haha

Why she didn't just release Scotty now and later an EP/mixtape? Bizarre. Anyway, will listen to this later and looking forward to it!

Itty Bitty Piggy and Gotta Go Hard (/Go Hard) still two of her best ever.
Was kind of hoping they’d have removed all the mixtape tags off this new version ha. I guess it would lose some of its charm if they did that but some of them are so annoying :’)

I'm enjoying the new tracks too! The Young Money trinity back together again <3

Oh wow this is a very smart move from her. Mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty Nicki is arguably her at her best. ITTY BITTY PIGGY finally on streaming !! So good to finally have these old songs on streaming . The 3 new songs bop as well and fit right in. I know she ain’t the most popular on her due to some of past
questionable actions but ... I’ve missed her and her presence highly !

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 14th May 2021, 10:34 AM

Yeah this is actually a clever move, will get old fans back on board and excited for what she has out next!

Posted by: ClaudiaKinkleman 14th May 2021, 01:37 PM

As much she is no longer at the height of her popularity, I certainly wouldn’t call Nicki irrelevant. She still has a big fan base and stays in people’s mouths with pretty much everything does/releases. Also I know they weren’t technically her songs but she just got her first two number-ones on the BB Hot 100 just last year.

Anyway this mixtape is so nostalgic for me and I’m so happy it’s finally on streaming! Can’t wait for a new album cheer.gif

'seeing green' is like a monologue lol

Posted by: dannjohn 24th May 2021, 10:36 AM

i forgot how good this mixtape was... i remember how disappointed i was at 'pink friday'.

Posted by: JackTheeStallion 25th May 2021, 08:59 AM

Seeing Green and Did It On Em are going viral on Tik Tok, would love one to be a hit!

Posted by: Botchia 25th May 2021, 10:23 AM

I'm loving Seeing Green - it's nostalgic yet feels so fresh. It's so so good hearing the three of them together on a song again!

Posted by: Dill Doe 25th May 2021, 11:47 AM

This better not get to no.1, or it'll diminish Hollier by the Spice Girls' record of being one of only 2 songs to feature Star Trek to ever reach no.1 or hit the charts.
