BuzzJack Music Forum _ R&B and Hip-Hop _ Mack's #ThrowbackThursday Re-Up

Posted by: WeekndMack 30th March 2023, 01:38 PM

A return of this #ThrowbackThursday for the R&B and Hip-Hop forum, each Thursday we get a flashback into the chart with some of the biggest R&B and Hip-Hop classics.

This Week:

1999: Lauryn Hill- Ex-Factor

Beginning this, we have this from the lead singer of The Fugees, Lauryn Hill which was the second single from her debut solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. This charted in the UK at #5 and become her biggest solo hit in the UK to date. In the US, this reached a peak of #21.

2007: P Diddy ft Keyshia Cole- Last Night

'Last Night' was the third single from P Diddy's album 'Press Play'. This would peak at #14 in the UK and it was more successful in the US when it peaked at #10 in the Hot 100. For Keyshia Cole this would be her biggest hit in the UK.

2008: Akon- Right Now (Na Na Na)

The final song for this week, is from Akon with 'Right Now (Na Na Na)'. This was the lead single from his third studio album 'Freedom'. This would be a Top 10 hit for him in both the UK and the US, peaking respectably at #6 and #8. I remember my friends at high school being obsessed with this song and thinking in the lyric 'make up' was 'make love'. It still sounds great for me.

Posted by: Roba. 30th March 2023, 01:58 PM

The P Diddy and Akon songs are good for me.

Posted by: LewisGT 30th March 2023, 08:22 PM

I like 'Ex-Factor' but it's probably one of my least favourite tracks from that album.

I had completely forgotten about 'Last Night'. I don't even think I realised it was Diddy that made it.

My favourite of the three is definitely 'Right Now (Na Na Na)'. Akon might not have made the most critically acclaimed music but he did make some bangers and this is one of his catchiest.

Posted by: danæ 30th March 2023, 08:31 PM

I wasn't a fan of any of those three sadly, I'm aware 'Ex Factor' is the most "credible" of the lot but I've always found it boring - Akon would have to be my fave here although he had better

Posted by: Jade 30th March 2023, 09:56 PM

My favourite of that trio is probably 'Last Night'. I think it passed me by at the time but I remember it appearing in Radio 1's One Hit Wonders of the Millennium countdown and thought Diddy appearing not once, but twice was a head scratcher laugh.gif (the other time as Diddy Dirty Money)

Posted by: Dobbo. 31st March 2023, 08:50 AM

Akon's whole discog is pretty much banger after banger (save for his last ever appearance in the UK top 40, worst way to go out ever).

This Week:

1999: Des'ree- You Gotta Be (99 Mix)

The first song for this week, we have an re-release with Des'ree which was first released in 1994. The original version it peaked at #14 in the UK and fared better in the US at #5, But in 1999 it outpeaked its original version of #14, by peaking at #10 in the UK.

The Ford Focus advert which featured the 1995 World Rally Champion the late Colin McRae:

2001: Mya- Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do)

The final song for this week is from Kelis featuring Cee-Lo with 'Lil Star'. This was the second single from her fourth studio album 'Kelis Was Here'. This would peak at #3 in the UK becoming her highest charting single since 'Millionaire' in 2004.

Posted by: Dobbo. 6th April 2023, 03:45 PM

Lil Star vastly underrated track, one of Kelis' best imo (although nothing beats Millionaire <3)

Posted by: dandy* 6th April 2023, 04:06 PM

Des’ree and her relentless attempts to get a top 10 hit. Think that was actually the third time she tried with that track so thank god she made it (just about) or we would still be seeing re-releases of it even now

Posted by: LewisGT 6th April 2023, 07:30 PM

'Case of the Ex' would be my pick of the three.

I'm not too familiar with the Des'ree track and I was never a fan of the Kelis track at the time.

Posted by: Roba. 10th April 2023, 12:04 AM

Des'ree and Kelis tracks are both great.

Posted by: Dobbo. 12th April 2023, 12:46 PM

Dangerous > Beautiful but both diet jams.

Posted by: Roba. 12th April 2023, 12:56 PM

All of those are good especially 'Together Again'!

Posted by: Dobbo. 20th April 2023, 03:04 PM

Bedrock was a such a mammoth collab looking back (and Gudda). Of course at the time you wouldn't say any one of them bar Lil Wayne were big names.

Posted by: Brer 21st April 2023, 03:55 PM

Gudda Gudda was integral to 'BedRock', I will tolerate no disrespect x

This Week:

2004- Usher ft Lil Jon & Ludacris- Yeah!

'Yeah!' was the first sngle to be released from Usher's fourth studio album 'Confessions'. This featuered rappers Lil Jon and Ludacris. In the US, it would be his first US #1 single in the Billboard Hot 100, it would stay at #1 for 12 straight weeks. This argubably is one of my favourite songs from Usher.

2005- The Game ft 50 Cent- Hate It Or Love It

'Hate It Or Love It' was the second single from The Game's debut album 'The Documentary'. For the second time it was another collaboration with 50 Cent after 'How We Do'. This would peak at #4 in the UK, in the US this would fare better by peaking at #2. Mary J Bilge would cover this with her single 'MJB Da MVP'

Posted by: Dobbo. 27th April 2023, 01:18 PM

Changes is such a genius sample usage, a rare example of both original and sample being similar levels of greatness.

Never liked Yeah! at all, so overplayed and always found the synths annoying. Burn was such a better song that year.

Posted by: Mack. 4th May 2023, 02:05 PM

This Week:

1998- Usher- You Make Me Wanna...

The first song for this week is: Usher- You Make Me Wanna... This would be the first single from Usher's second studio album 'My Way'. This would become his first UK #1, in the US this peaked at #2 where it would stay there for seven consecutive weeks.

2000- Oxide & Neutrino- Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)

'Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)' would be the debut single from Britsh duo Oxide & Neutrino, later members of So Solid Crew. This sampled the theme tune to the BBC medical drama 'Casualty' and includes a spoken part from the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels which included '"Ah! s**t! I've been shot!/I don't f***ing believe this, could everyone stop getting shot?, This would get to #1 in the UK where it knocked off Fragma's 'Toca's Miracle' off the #1 spot.

In the UK this would peak at #3 in the UK for her, in the US, this become her lowest charting-single at the time by peaking at #72.

Posted by: Roba. 4th May 2023, 04:43 PM

Underrated J-Lo track that was.

Posted by: Mack. 11th May 2023, 02:35 PM

This Week:

1995- Montell Jordan- This Is How We Do It

The first song for this week is: Montell Jordan- This Is How We Do It. This would be the debut single for Montell Jordan. This would peak at #11 in the UK, however in the US it was much more successful for me by peaking at #1 knocking Madonna's 'Take a Bow' from the top spot. It would remain at #1 in the US for seven consecutive weeks. This has been covered by Mis-Teeq as a double A-side in 2002 with 'Roll On'. In 2015, this was remixed by Dutch DJ Joe Stone where it would peak at #17 in the UK.

2008- Kanye West ft Dwele- Flashing Lights

'Flashing Lights' was the fourth single from Kanye West's third studio album 'Graduation'. This featured Dwele. In both the UK and US this would peak at #29. I think this is one of the highlights from 'Graduation' for Kanye.

2010- Professor Green ft Ed Drewett- I Need You Tonight

'I Need You Tonight' was the debut single from British rapper Professor Green from his debut album 'Alive Till I'm Dead' this featured Ed Drewett who somehow unless Simon, Amanda, David and Alesha had amnesia was a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2012. This samples INXS 'Need You Tonight'. This would peak at #3 in the UK for Professor Green. Controversial opinion but I prefer this to his 'Read All About It' collaboration he did with Emeli Sande.

This Week:

1993- Inner Circle- Sweat (A La La La La Long)

'Ice Box' was the second single from American R&B singer Omarion from his second album '21'. This would his biggest hit in the UK where it charted at #14, in the US it would peak two places higher at #12. This would have guest vocals from Timbaland, in the music video Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles played Omarion's girlfriend. This is a perfect chilled tune this from Omarion. I couldn't tire of this from him.

2008- Usher ft Young Jeezy- Love In This Club

The last song for this week is from one of my favourite songs here from Usher. Was completely obesessed with this R'n'B sexy tune from Usher and guest vocals from Young Jeezy. Cameos in the music video from Diddy, Keri Hilson, Kanye West. This was a defining song for me from the year that was 2008.

Posted by: Dobbo. 18th May 2023, 02:30 PM

Coincidentally I listened to Sweat just earlier today!

Ice Box is one of those underrated noughties R&B gems. Omarion is someone I've always thought should have had more hits.

Posted by: Roba. 18th May 2023, 04:02 PM

'Love In This Club' is one of the very few Usher tracks I actually really enjoyed!

This was a re-release of the song in the UK where it was originally released in 1993 where it got to #32 in the UK. With the re-release, it would peak at #8 in the UK. In the US, it would fare better where it would peak at #3. It is also used in sports, two-time PDC World Champion darts player Gary Anderson uses this as his walk-on music.

1998- K-Ci & JoJo- All My Life

'All My Life' was the third single from American R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo. This would peak at #8 in the UK, in the US this would fare better and become a Billboard Hot 100 #1 for three consecutive weeks. This would be the most successful song of their career. This is a great R&B ballad from them.

2010- Taio Cruz ft Kesha- Dirty Picture

'Dirty Picture' was the third single from Taio Cruz's second studio album 'Rokstarr'. This featured Kesha, this would go on to peak at #6 in the UK.

Posted by: Dobbo. 25th May 2023, 02:48 PM

Urgh I personally can't stand Jump Around. Definitely one for me that goes in the "songs you could happily never hear again" thread.

Dirty Picture now that was a grimy jam from back in my early clubbing days.

Posted by: Roba. 25th May 2023, 03:53 PM

'Dirty Picture' is a good pick from those.

Posted by: KäärijäMack 26th May 2023, 01:22 AM

Cheers for commenting both, much appreciated.

Which Sampled This:

'Touch The Sky' was the fourth single from Kanye West's second studio album 'Late Registration. This would feature Lupe Fiasco on his career debut. This sampled Curtis Mayfield's 'Move On Up'. The music video was a homage to Evel Knievel and his attempt to jump across the Grand Canyon, however it would lead to a lawsuit from Evel Knievel which was settled in 2007, the video features a cameo from Pamela Anderson. In the UK this would peak at #6, in the US this would peak at #43.

2013- Pitbull ft Christina Aguilera- Feel This Moment

Which Sampled This:

The final song for this week is 'Feel This Moment' which was the fourth single from Pitbull's seventh studio album 'Global Warming'. This would sample a-ha's 'Take On Me'. This would feature Christina Aguilera. In the UK this would peak at #5 in the UK, in the US it would peak at #8. Might be in the minority regarding this song, but I quite enjoyed it from Pitbull/Christina Aguilera.

Posted by: Dobbo. 1st June 2023, 03:01 PM

Play was a huge Sarah Cox staple on her morning show on Radio 1 back then! Reminds me of lifts to school.

I think the Kanye song uses the sample better but I prefer the Pitbull track overall, big last year at uni highlight that one.

Posted by: LewisGT 1st June 2023, 09:47 PM

Touch the Sky is legendary. Lupe’s verse is great.

Not a fan of ‘Feel This Moment’ though.

I would regard this song as much as a hip-hop classic. I couldn't really tire of this song.

2010- Tinie Tempah- Pass Out

'Pass Out' was the debut single for Tinie Tempah this would have uncredital vocals from Labrinth. This would go on and peak at #1 in the UK where it stayed for two weeks. I can remember being told off at high school in Year 11 for listening to this at lunchtime on We7 on the computer because of the lyrics apparently.

2011- Nicole Scherzinger- Don't Hold Your Breath

The final song for this week is:'Don't Hold Your Breath' was the second single from Nicole Scherzinger's debut album 'Studio Love' This would go on and become Nicole's first UK #1 hit as a solo artist, this would knock off Adele's 'Someone Like You' off the #1 spot for a week, then a week later 'Someone Like You' would return to the #1 spot. In the US this would chart at #86.

Posted by: Roba! 9th June 2023, 12:59 PM

Was and still am a fan of 'Don't Hold Your Breath'.

This would go on to peak at #3 in the UK. In the US this would peak at #5.

1996- Michael Jackson- They Don't Care About Us

It is a double helping from Michael Jackson this week. 'They Don't Care About Us' was the fifth single from Michael Jackson's nineth studio album 'HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book 1'. This would go on and peak at #4 in the UK for Michael, in the US this would peak at #30. There was also a prison version music video of this:

I also remember this from a particular Britain's Got Talent version from 2009:

2011- Cee-Lo Green ft Wiz Khalifa- Bright Lights, Bigger City

The last song for this week is: 'Bright Lights Bigger City' was the fourth single from Cee-Lo Green's third studio album 'The Lady Killer' A remix of the track which will find below is a guest appearance with rapper Wiz Khalifa. This would peak at #13 in the UK. I would consider this a good follow-up from 'Forget You'

Posted by: LewisGT 15th June 2023, 08:41 PM

Neither would be near the top of my Michael Jackson picks but they're both alright.

I wasn't a massive fan of the CeeLo track either kink.gif

Pass Out was a great pick last week though!

Posted by: Roba. 15th June 2023, 08:55 PM

'They Don't Really Care About Us' was one I appreciated more after MJ passed at the time.

'Bright Lights Big City' I quite liked at the time but not aged well now!

Posted by: Dobbo. 16th June 2023, 08:28 AM

They Don't Care About Us is one of my faves from MJ! An anthem.

This would go on and peak at #1 in the UK and in the US this would peak at #2 and spent eight straight weeks at #2 behind both Usher singles 'Yeah!' and 'Burn'. As you know this got a remake from American record producer, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and US rapper 21 Savage with their hit 'Creepin' which has peaked at #7 in the UK and faring better in the US where it would peak at #3. There was also an answer song to this called 'You Should Really Know' which was from a female prospective from producer The Pirates which would feature Shola Ama, Nalia Boss and Ishami as well as Enya. That song would peak at #8 in the UK.

2008- Flo Rida ft T-Pain- Low

I remember this band very well from my childhood as on a Friday night it would be tradition for my Dad to play this CD, and I enjoyed this song from them. Great talent was Errol Brown who is very much missed.

1989- Bobby Brown- My Prerogative

My Prerogative' which was the second single from Bobby Brown's second album 'Don't Be Cruel'. This would go on and peak at #6 in the UK, in the US this would fare better and reach #1 in the Billboard Hot 100. This would be re-released in 1995 in the UK where it would peak at #17. It was most famously covered by Britney Spears in 2004 which was from her greatest hits album 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative'. This version from Britney would go and outpeak Bobby's chart position of this in the UK by peaking at #3 in November 2004.

It certainly is an anthem,

Thanks for commenting, Roba and Dobbo. smile.gif

My Prerogative is one of those class 90s tunes that feels kinda forgotten. 2 Can Play That Game understandably gets more love in general but this is a great track too.

In the UK this would peak at #22 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #27 in the Billboard Hot 100. I remember hearing this quite a lot in the summer of 2010, this was definitely a staple in the playlist back in the summer of 2010. In Diddy-Dirty Money was a musical duo of Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper alongside Sean Combs aka P.Diddy, Puff Daddy, Diddy. They would later have success the following year with 'Coming Home'.

Posted by: Dobbo 6th July 2023, 02:37 PM

Never heard that Diddy song before:O

Some good picks in recent weeks from MJ and Hot Chocolate and I also like the Mario Winans version a fair bit and 'Scream & Shout' is okay.

Posted by: Mack. 7th July 2023, 01:14 PM

Cheers both for commenting, I recommend listening to 'Hello Good Morning', Dobbo.

Roba-

This would be their first UK Top 10 hit where it would peak at #7. This didn't chart in the Billboard Hot 100. This is a great tune from them. This would later be covered by Kavana who is best known in recent years for appearing in ITV2's 'The Big Reunion' and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015. Kavana's version would peak at #8.

1987- Michael Jackson- The Way You Make Me Feel

The first song for this week is from Michael Jackson with 'The Way You Make Me Feel' which was the third single from his seventh studio album 'Bad'. This would peak at #3 in the UK where it would stay in that position for three non-conserative weeks. In the US this would fare better by peaking at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100, where it would stay at #1 for one week in January 1988. In 2006 this would be re-released where it would reach #17 in the UK. Following Michael's passing in 2009 this would re-enter the UK charts at #34. This is another highlight from 'Bad'.

2012- Usher- Scream

'Scream' was the second single from Usher's seventh studio album 'Looking 4 Myself'. This would go on and peak at #5 in the UK. In the US this would peak at #9 in the Billboard Hot 100. This another fantastic tune from Usher, I couldn't really tire of his music.

2007- Justin Timberlake- Lovestoned

Posted by: Dobbo 27th July 2023, 02:02 PM

Love Tease Me, much better than that weird Twist And Shout cover.

Posted by: LewisGT 27th July 2023, 09:11 PM

21 Questions is a wonderful choice!

Every single track from that album is a classic but a Nate Dogg chorus elevates any track.

Posted by: Jade 27th July 2023, 09:50 PM

'Lovestoned' feels pretty underrated! That singles run just kept giving.

Posted by: Roba. 27th July 2023, 10:57 PM

Yeah 'Lovestoned' is a decent track from Justin!

Posted by: denz98 28th July 2023, 04:40 PM

This Week:

1994- All-4-One- I Swear

The first song for this week is: 'I Swear' was the second single from All-4-One's eponymous debut album. This was a cover of the previous year from a country music artist John Michael Montgomery which would peak at #42 in the US. All-4-One's version would go and peak at #2 in the UK, it was #2 for seven straight weeks thanks to the juggernaut that was Wet Wet Wet's 'Love Is All Around'. In ths US this would fare better by peaking at #1 where it stay at #1 for 11 straight weeks.

2000- Mary Mary- Shackles (Praise You)

'Shackles (Praise You) was the debut single from American duo Mary Mary from their debut album 'Thankful'. This would go on and peak at #5 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #28 for them. This would their biggest ever hit to date, as their next single 'I Sings' would peak at #32. Not one I have heard for a while this from Mary Mary. But it's a great song from them.

2013- Bruno Mars- Treasure

'Treasure' was the third single from Bruno Mars' second studio album 'Unorthodox Jukebox'. This would go and peak at #12 in the UK, in the US this would fare better by peaking at #5 in the Billboard Hot 100. I very much preferred this to 'Locked Out of Heaven' which I thought was the worst song that Bruno Mars did.

Posted by: Dobbo 10th August 2023, 02:01 PM

My Unorthodox Jukebox rankings have swayed a lot since it came out. I used to like Locked Out Of Heaven the most but now I'd actually say When I Was Your Man is my fave. Treasure has always been mid to me.

Posted by: Roba. 10th August 2023, 03:40 PM

'Shackles' is such a good feel good anthem and 'Treasure' is fine but I prefer 'When I Was Your Man' & 'Locked Out Of Heaven' to it, although the latter has dipped a little bit thanks to being on the radio quite often still.

This Week:

1984- The Pointer Sisters- Jump (For My Love)

The first song for this week is: 'Jump (For My Love) which was the third single from The Pointer Sisters tenth studio album 'Break Out'. This would go and peak at #6 in the UK, in the US this would fare better by peaking at #3 in the Billboard Hot 100. Nineteen years on this would be covered by Girls Aloud as part of the soundtrack to 'Love Actually' their version would fare better in the UK by peaking at #2. Out of the two, I think they are on equal terms.

1999- Jennifer Lopez- If You Had My Love

'If You Had My Love' was the debut single from Jennifer Lopez from her debut studio album 'On The 6'. This would go on and peak at #4 in the UK, in the US this would fare better and peak at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 where it would stay at #1 for five weeks. I would say this is a great debut single from J-Lo who has gone on to produce some R&B classics throughout the years. The music video centered around an internet concept with someone clicking onto her website.

2002- Ja Rule ft Case- Livin' It Up

'Livin' It Up' was the lead single from US rapper Ja Rule's third studio album 'Pain Is Love' this would feature Case. This would go on and peak at #5 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #6. This would sample Stevie Wonder's 'Do I Do'. This is quite a good song from Ja Rule, I would say. I do listen to this quite a lot, it's one that would be on the playlists for me.

This Week:

1987- Hot Chocolate- You Sexy Thing

Remix:

Original

'You Sexy Thing' was the second single from Hot Chocolate's second album 'Hot Chocolate'. This song was first released in 1975 where it would peak at #2 in the UK and #3 in the US. In 1987 this remixed version of this would peak at #10 in the UK. Ten years later this again would be re-released thanks to it being featured in The Full Monty where it would peak at #6. It is the only song to enter the UK Top 10 in the 70s, 80s and 90s. This is a great song from Hot Chocolate, a song I wouldn't tire of. Again I remember this band very well from my childhood as on a Friday night it would be tradition for my Dad to play this CD, Great talent was Errol Brown who is very much missed.

2008- Chris Brown- Forever

I apologize the next song won't be popular but it is 'Forever' which was the lead single of Chris Brown's reissued version of his second studio album 'Exclusive' which was titled the Forever Edition. This would go and peak at #4 in the UK which at the time was his second highest charting solo single. In the US this would fare better by peaking at #2 in the Billboard Hot 100. This is probably one of my favourite songs from Chris Brown, I couldn't tire of listening to this. This was played a lot during what was the summer of 2008.

2011- Black Eyed Peas- Don't Stop The Party

'Don't Stop The Party' was the third single from Black Eyed Pea's sixth studio album 'The Beginning'. This would go and peak at #17 in the UK to date this was the Black Eyed Peas last UK Top 40 hit, in the US this would be their lowest charting single by peaking at #86 in the Billboard Hot 100. The album version of this seems to go on forever, it isn't really that memorable from them, I think this is the first I've heard this in years.

Posted by: Roba. 31st August 2023, 01:36 PM

Hot Chocolate have better but 'You Sexy Thing' is rather iconic.

I still enjoy 'Forever' as a song regardless. His 08/09 singles for the most part were on a good streak!

and 'Don't Stop The Party' is a tune but is fairly forgotten nowadays I feel.

Posted by: Dobbo 31st August 2023, 01:42 PM

Don't Stop The Party indeed remains BEP's most recent entry in the UK top 40. A very "of it's time" song.

Posted by: Mack. 31st August 2023, 02:01 PM

It is indeed iconic, 'You Sexy Thing'.

The first song for this week is from: Seal with 'Kiss From A Rose'. This was from Seal's second self-titled studi album and was part of the Batman Forever soundtrack and The Never Ending Story III. In the US this would fare better by peaking at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100. Very recently this was used in EastEnders as part of the much-anticipated comeback that was of one Cindy Beale.

'Not Afraid' was the lead single from Eminem's seventh studio album 'Recovery'. This would go on and peak at #5 in the UK, in the US this would fare better and peak at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100 which would become his 3rd US #1. This was a great lead single from Eminem. I remember this being released just before I had my GCSE exams, I think this was one that I listened to when I was revising. This would come 65th in my Hip Hop songs of the 2010s.

2011- Pitbull ft Marc Anthony- Rain Over Me

'Rain Over Me' was the third single from rapper Pitbull's sixth studio album 'Planet Pit' this would feature former Mr J-Lo, Marc Anthony. This would go on and peak at #28 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #30. I can remember that this was considered a flop from Pitbull at the time given the success that was 'Give Me Everything'. This does sound like something that would be a 16/1 shot in the betting market in Eurovision with a solid each-way chance to win it. Regarding that flop you can read all about it on here:

'Don't Go' such a classic. Wretch 32 featured on D Block Europe's 'Don't Go' on their Home Alone 2 project in 2021, which was a sort of nod/homage to different generations of UK urban music that I loved to see.

2005- Simon Webbe- No Worries

'No Worries' was the second single from Blue band member Simon Webbe's debut album 'Sanctuary'. This would go on and peak at #4 in the UK. Haven't heard this for a long time but this sounds great from Simon Webbe.

2009- Eminem- We Made You

'We Made You' was the second single from Eminem's sixth studio album 'Relapse'. This would go on and peak at #4 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #9 in the Billboard Hot 100. This particular lyric about the late Amy Winehouse and her husband Blake is a particular thing I don't like:

Can you blame me? You're my Amy, I'm your Blake
Matter fact, bake me a birthday cake
With a saw blade in it to make my jail break
Baby, I think you just met your soul mate, now break it down, girl
That hasn't aged well.

QUOTE
Oh Amy
Rehab never looked so good

It was Eminem back to this 'Slim Shady' persona.
