Wanted to post a pic this morning, but have got problems with Photobucket. Somehow I've been logged out, and for the life of me I can't remember my password. I've got something written down, but they won't accept it. Anyone else had problems with them recently?

They did update it a few months back but it's fine for me once I got used to the new lay out.

Yes the new layout is great - especially for editing pix. It was all right before I went away, but I seem to have been logged out and it won't accept the password, nor does it have a place for you to ask for a new one. My passwords are normally saved on my computer, but something seems to have gone wrong with the works as well. Oh well - may have to get a new account.

I've been into town this morning. I had £50 in my purse when I left home. I bought 9 items, and when I got home I had £10 left in my purse. blink.gif In two shops I actually queried the bills - but the cashiers were right. ohmy.gif

I actually think the shops ans supermarkets are just "cashing in" on all the media hype in the press and on tv, the prices only seemed to start rocketing up everywhere when that started, they now have an excuse to wallop up to 50p on an item. pirate.gif

pirate.gif pirate.gif Just found out why I've been having so many problems recording dvds. It has nothing to do with the dvds I bought but a fault with that particular model dvd. Hubby has just found a website with dozens of complaints. Same problem I have. It records ok then when you try & play the disc it spits it back out & says you need to check the disc. pirate.gif There's apparently a problem with the laser reading the disc. We got the dvd as part of a package when we bought our new tv a few years back but haven't used it. It maddens me to think that Currys have been offloading these duff dvds to their customers!!!!! pirate.gif pirate.gif

Oh dear TT - but I don't think there's anything you can do about it now.

I must admit to always being a bit sceptical about package deals or where your offered something free with an item. I was recently looking at some cheaper garden furniture in Homebase which offered two free loungers. But the loungers were so low you might just as well have lain on the ground, and looked as if they'd collapse the first time of using. I bought the slightly more expensive furniture, without loungers. Not electrical I know but a similar principle.

Yes I guess I shouldn't moan having gort something for nothing but I'm not sure I'll be able to persuade hubby we need a new one after my tour lay out. He already thinks I'm obsessed having to record everything. sad.gif Ah well I'll just have to clog up the HD box! tongue.gif

Oh don't get me wrong. He's usually very good. Doesn't have a problem with me watching everything just having to have everything kept on video or dvd for prosperity.

I do have a dvd that plays dvds only & that works fine. Will just have to fathom out how to use the nero programme I have on the pc to copy all the recordings that are hosted on Devoted.

Just back from the doctors after they very kindly fitted me in at the end of surgery time, I've got yet another chronic ear infection and they've sent a swab off this time as this is about the 5th one I've had in less than a year. sad.gif At least this time they'll hopefully find out what sort of infection it really is, got a 3 week antibiotic course and steroid drops to take now, I'm just thankful I didn't have it last week when I went to see Will at Chiswick.
