The live performance really is not that bad.

But this isn't the reason it's popular; it's popular because the tune is catchy, and it is well produced, plain and simple. It's extremely catchy, for that matter. If the song was about a different subject matter, there's not a doubt in my mind it would still be huge as long as it was still well written. I don't consider her a talent whatsoever, but I'm not going to deny a song is good when it truly is. Sheesh... I doubt she'll ever match the success of I Kissed A Girl but there are hits on her album and it is still selling decently in the US - still top 20 after near 20 weeks! |

She's back with a great video and the song is already doing great in the US, and will all around the world for sure

I've made it quite clear I don't like her, but this song is excellent. A real grower; only her vocals let it down. The production team combo of Dr Luke and Max Martin really is an absolute dream
 Wonderful video too. She should be thanking her lucky stars she managed to get such a talented team around her!
