I love goth music, unfortunately it did nothing for me last month for Tarja, most likely I was in the wrong semi, but Elegeion, I really like, its a beautiful track, nice soft rock/goth ballad, gave me goosebumps listening to it, in the right semi it should do well.

If no one takes it, Deandria is going to go Pink in a Big way for the next contest!
What could this mean? |

Are you sure you want to do that? It's been a huge hit here, well, not in the charts, but on TV and stuff... it's kind of cheap, though not Lady Gaga standard

Defy the Cheapy police! if you really love the song it shouldn't matter if they arrest you for it. tbh thought I don't think songs popular on advertisements would really get anywhere near the same type of backlash as say.....if someone entered Lady Gaga - Bad Romance now. I'm not the cheapy police, I wouldn't join, the uniforms suck
It's just that this kind of seems like a waste of an entry... I don't know if it's you, but this would be a great entry for someone... |

I like this a lot, and its been in my personal chart for some time, but I don't think you should use it, as I kinda got bored with it now. If there is 10 other good tracks that I like in this contest, I will overlook it.

I barely like this, but sure seems like a grower?
Anyway, you should just send it if you love it |

to be honest I've never even heard it before...
I know the name as it's been in the charts but I rarely listen to the chart, so am not aware of the song |

What Rich said It's one of those songs I can't imagine many BJSC participants have heard despite its 'success'...

90/100 I have heard this once or twice before but actually have no idea where. It's still a very good song, I like it.

For the last three days this Dominoes song has been playing on the radio in the morning on the bus into college.
It's like Mattias is paying them to force me into listening to it alot. |

Tina Parol Goes 'Dotty' in Deandria
As the Shadowan entry into BJSC XXII makes her way across the BuzzJack World there has been one constant - The Big Pink. Whether it be blasting from her iPod head phones, playing on the radio or even on Xbox ads they've been there every step of the way, you can imagine her reaction therefore when we told her she's going to the country that shall enter them in to the next BuzzJack Song Contest! Despite her personal fave track being 'Too Young To Love', Tina has admetted 'I'm dotty for Dominoes!'. Tina was in the country to promote her own entry 'Who's Got Your Money'. |

Okay so apparently this thread has not been updated since 2009 lmao
I currently have no idea what to send to the next regular contest. Of course there's still loads of time, but I kinda want to always be searching/finding. I found a few songs I really like but they're kinda 'Bet U Wish' in that I love the song (gave that song max points) but probably doesn't do well. They sound like that song too. Loving the whole alternative rnb thing lately. Not qualifying with 'Calm Down' was obviously disappointing, but it's okay... It's just that when I first entered it, I thought it was the best chance I ever had in terms of doing really really well and maybe even winning So to not even qualify with a song I felt that way about was definitely disappointing. I'm so glad it got love from some of you though <3 I'm not sure if I'll enter the Charts spin-off tbh. I have been looking for songs for that and found a few that I feel like maybe I could send, some of which I had never heard before, but I just don't know if I feel passionate about any of them in terms of actually sending it. I'll see though. I mean the choice is definitely wide. |

'Calm Down' DNQing was very disappointing, as I said it stood out a lot in the semi for me Thanks for the good discovery anyway I guess, I hope you can qualify again soon.

Have received a reminder for the near misses spin-off so am currently doing some almost last minute searching, which should ideally be followed by some almost last minute/completely last minute deciding
It's so difficult. I do have some ideas. This post has been edited by Mattias: Sep 25 2015, 12:27 AM |
