Mutya said Keisha & Siobhan are speaking, so if a reunion is happening it will be the original babes.
I sure hope they'll agree to it! |

And Amelle and Keisha are on speaking terms, rebuilding their relationship? Keisha isn't for this thing, her management denied it including her anyway. So if the reunion did happen without her it definitely won't be the same. They're all better off solo, Mutya and Siobhan just need to get back to work with better labels.

Siobhan isn't broke. She gets enough royalties to live a comfortable life.
I think the offer of solo deals aswell as a group is part of what will get Siobhan to sign on the dotted line. |

Such a shame. She has more chance of being successful with them than as solo.
All the best to each lady. |

Keisha tweeted that the original Sugababes are 100% NOT reforming I remember Melanie C saying the same thing in an interview about the Spice Girls (when she was promoting her then album)...... less than two months before they reformed. What you have got to remember is that as an individual Keisha has a separate Record Company and management deal than the heavily rumoured "Original Sugababes" tie up that has been reported in the media in the last couple of days. Hence, she can't join her old bandmates without breaking her existing contracts which would cost her money in paying out compensation fees for promtional and recording costs for her solo material that she is working on. So if I was a betting person, I reckon the reunion could easily happen .... but not until towards the end of 2010; until after Keisha has worked on and realised a debut solo album when she can then be a free agent if she wished. As for today's reports saying that the Original Sugababes cannot use the name the Sugababes because it belongs to the Sugababes 4.0 management and record company that is true ..... but there would be next to nothing to stop the Original Sugababes reforming under a different name which includes the word Sugababes such as The Original Sugababes. |

imo it would be an awful idea. I think they would flop big time, because imo Sugababes 1.0 were one of the worst line ups (even though all 3 are the best vocalists/songwriters), but the songs they made were downright crap.

^ Yes.
And they could even perform half of their singles if they wanted. They could get around that in a sly way by announcing them as covers. As long as they don't release, they'll be fine...won't they? |

They were 14/15 when they wrote the original tracks.
Hence the line in overload 'Skipping school goin on a walk for air, i just gotta get outta there....' |

Unless there is a copyright from and band or artists using Sugababes in their name. Like Bloc Party did with Block Party etc. |

Sad this isn't going to happen, I believe her. When she announced it on Twitter, I sent her a tweet saying how it could have been amazing and she replied with ":-) For the right reasons, yes xxx". I think the reunion had been properly considered by the girls, but they decided it was based on spite and making the other girls feel uneasy. (which is probably true) Still, it'd be good to see one day, I just think the present is the best time for it, being the 10 year anniversary after all.

Well, whether it happens or not, I'm just glad Siobhan and Keisha have finally sorted things out. That's a success in itself.
