Heart did that sometimes with Someone Like You, they'd cut the second verse
I mean yes, it's over 4 minutes but it ruins the song, surely they don't think their listeners have such a crap attention span? They'll butcher You & I, as will Capital actually - I've noticed them cutting songs about as well

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the dance music channels (MTV Dance, Clubland, DanceNation) use that remix as their main version, its what they usually do with slower tempo tracks (Adele 'Rolling In The Deep' for example).
