I think Eyes Wide Open will manage to chart on the Hot 100 next week aswell. Will will mean both Gotye and fun. won't be one-hit wonders. They won't be technical one hit wonders, but everyone will think of them as one hit wonders in the future and completely forget their other 'hits'. Probably. I might be wrong. |

(Weird that Drake has two singles both doing pretty much equally well at the same time). |

I love that blog. Sometimes there's too much blah blah blah though and might lack some essential info.

I think it's very unlikely Maroon 5 would debut at #1. It'll be either Gotye or fun. I think. Gotye has the Tiesto remix at #13 on US iTunes which will boost him a lot, and fun. have massive radio airplay. There's a Tiesto remix of Gotye? Why do we not get remixes over here these days. GAH. I also agree that it Maroon 5 won't enter at #1, it's basically impossible under the BB chart methodology. |

I don't think either 1D or The Wanted will climb anymore. Best case scenario, stay as non movers

1D has a 40 day tour in America so maybe in this time they will have some promotion in TV, and they are still climbing in radio airplays chart.

The Wanted won't break the top 2 but I think One Direction could peak at #3 with airplay still on the rise & Glee to give it a boost in a couple of weeks.

When will people realise that NO-ONE overtakes Elvis Presley. He was, and remains, the greatest of all-time. How many people throughout the World could name you a 'Lil Wayne' track or even know who 'Lil Wayne' was?
People had to pay real money to buy an Elvis record not the giveaway prices charged today for downloads. Further, Elvis is the most photographed and impersonated person of all-time. I wonder where 'Lil' Wayne will be in the charts some 35 years after his death!!! Brian |

He probably seems like the biggest artist if you live in the US, but he's much less popular worldwide. A better comparison (at the moment) is Lady Gaga, who's popular in most places, but I agree even she comes nowhere near Elvis, and obviously won't be in the charts 35 years after her death. |
