I was hoping Mr Triangles would vote because he's give needed points to S O H N.

Well, I decided not to go out as there was nothing there that I had tickets for (and I'm a CHEAPSKATE ) and after leading for so long, this is how you repay me Pavel!
I suppose I'll TAKE 2nd, given I never thought I had a chance, serious thanks to everyone who voted for me though - especially the 5 20s. Oscillate I NEARLY voted for, so congrats on winning Dandz, at least it wasn't one of the few awful tracks and a track I actually liked. |

So I was the highest not to get 20 points from somewhere. That's cool. I guess.

I think 17th easily beats my previous finishes, still a bit MIFFED though as Indian Summer continues to grow in greatness. + I'm not a fan of winner (soz Dandz*, congrats an' all). Thanks to anyone who gave me love, especially John and Grebo for the 15s.
I like the symbols btw Pav. |

Top 10 (just )
I really don't get the love for Of Verona (she is like K$sha mixed with Ellie Goulding - it was the first track I deleted from my list ;-) ) As for the winner - not a fan either. Great competition though - well done Pavel. |

More voters than one of the songs in the top 10! All in all pretty happy with that result.

Listening to Oscillate again, I'm kinda bewildered as to how it won. I love it but I don't hear the mass appeal that I can hear in Castles.

I can kinda understand it, Oscillate would have appealed to most of the participants here in a big way, while from the moment I entered Castles I knew it'd have some haters. And it getting the most 20s aside, it was picking up mainly 4s and 5s while S O H N was getting 10s and 12s, so despite having the same number of voters it was appealing to a smaller section of the UP base overall.

I think our perspectives are different. I view the participants of UP as more diverse than they used to be. They are coming from more varied areas of Buzzjack than in earlier rounds of UP. I suppose I made the assumption that Oscillate would not connect with new wider audience.

The winner was okay. Second place was really not that brilliant. The Jezabels were 3rd which is absolutely wonderful, and of course me finishing 4th too! <3 I think that's in my top 5 results from UP and BJSC combined. Sorry if Arthur Russell was a bit cheap guys; I did consider it but it's kinda difficult to gauge how well known an artist from years ago is on here.

Don't worry about it, I came 11th with a track from 1992 it must have been a good entry if 16 members voted for it : |
