Janet Devlin is releasing 'Creatures Of The Night' as the third single from her album 'Running With Scissors' and it is currently available to pre-order on iTunes with a release date of September 22nd - and it also includes a B-side! It's one of my favourites from the album so it's a great choice, listen to it below! |

That's awesome and her album's amazing.
Shame the listeners of sewage pipe music have become so used to the cheap noises Cowell feeds them that they can't appreciate real music. Saying you thought her career was dead is like saying you only listen to Beiber "'cause telly man tells me to". Shows how little these commentators know about music since Janet's album was number 1 in the Independent charts and received amazing reviews from all the independent magazines. I guess these idiots will be off to buy Cliff Richard's back catalogue now that he's "back on telly like". |

I certainly don't dislike Janet and her music because she has a poisonous personality and a voice that could cut diamonds. |

It was quite clearly a joke. If you think I'm a misogynist then you obviously know nothing of me as a poster outside of that comment. I'm one of the strongest proponent of female's on here. It just so happens I have a deep rooted hatred for this woman, for various reasons, and decided to make a light hearted comment about being surprised/dismayed at her continued music making career.

People won't understand. See the reaction to my comments in the Jessie J thread...... Janet does need to disappear. Her voice is awful. |

What was the joke, besides calling a woman a whore as a term of abuse? I can't wait for your racist 'jokes' and you claiming to be the most anti-racist poster. Grow up. |

They go on "real music" rants and say that liking any of the big Syco success stories from the show aren't worth it compared to those who make "real music". It's just snobbery. And I'm saying this as a Janet fan, I like the track and her album is a nice listen. She's got a fantastic voice too. Despite that, I also enjoy a lot of the "cheap noises Cowell feeds" me |

X Factor has spawned so many different sounds, you can't put it all in one box. I've only ever bought XF albums by Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson. They were to my taste whereas the majority of XF is not. You can't discredit it all particularly since Janet came from there.
And her failings on XF had nothing to do with other acts on the show. |
